Excellente barre de son, d'une grande qualité. Des années de recherche et développement pour arriver à un tel son. Les fixations murales ne supportent pas le poids de la barre de son et n'ont aucun réglage. La barre de son penche vers l'avant et dénature le design et l'esthétique. La sortie de câbles est visible (sans couvercle / cache) et pas au centre de la barre. Affichage difficilement visible de loin, car caractères trop petits et derrière une grille. Un barré de son qui mérite une mise à jour pour améliorer l'expérience client.

As you can plainly see, it is a very elegant sound system that includes the following: Wireless Dolby Atmos/DTS:X, A subwoofer, surround sound speakers, true 11.1.4 channel sound, spacelift sound, adaptive sound mode, game pro mode, Alexa built in, airplay 2 compatibility, q-symphony, tap sound which allows you to play your music or podcasts with A simple tap of the soundbar, blue tooth multi-connection and an included Samsung oneremote. Setup is as simple as plugging everything in, with no wire clutter whatsoever. A truly excellent addition to any home/home theater system. Thanks for reading my review.

The sound quality is great no matter if you’re watching a movie, listening to music or watching sports. Having Amazon Alexa built in is a great feature that makes this even more useful. Being able to adjust all the channels independently is really awesome, so that you can fine tune the sound to sound just they way you want. The setup was very simple and with the ability to use Samsung SmartThings you can make changes from your phone very easily. If you’re in the market for a new sound bar I definitely recommend this unit!

Open it up and you'll see that the packing is superb, it would be tough for anything to get damaged during transit. This model is a bit larger than my previous Samsung soundbar, but the setup was just as easy with my Samsung QLED, literal plug-and-play. Now to the good stuff, atmos is just wow. I mean the overall sound is fantastic, beyond anything I expected from a soundbar...and I can be a snob about my sound. I wasn't sure if I had an atmos source on hand, so I found one online and it has changed how I watch tv/movies/etc. The wireless surround speakers work perfectly out of the box, nothing to do, but choose a position, plug them in and enjoy clean, crisp sound.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have really enjoyed the Samsung Q990B Soundbar. It's totally upgraded our movie nights into something really special. It was so easy to setup, all we had to do was plug it in and connect the TV and it was ready to go. I also recommend running the sound configuration program. It automatically adapted to our space and room dimensions and it sounds so much better once that completed. The bass is very powerful for the size of the woofer, it can really rattle the walls if you dial it up. The rear surround speakers are really nice and subtle but add a ton of immersion to films with surround sound audio tracks. Very happy so far and expect to be for some time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to the Q990B, I had Samsung's 2019 Q90R 7.1.4 channel soundbar (with wireless rears). I candidly was not expecting the Q990B to be meaningfully better, but I was proven wrong as soon as I got the system out of the box and set up. The sound is thunderous, crisp, and fills the room with incredible presence. The main soundbar is fantastic in delivering crisp dialogue and the subwoofer quite literally shakes the room. In addition, the rears do a great job of emulating height in the sound (when Dolby Atmos content is played). The features embedded in Samsung's SmartThings app makes the experience even better. Controlling the soundbar is easy, and using unique features like SpaceFit sound and Auto EQ (both of which adjust the soundbar to adapt to the space they are in) optimize for the best sound.

Estou com a esta Soundbar há 2 dias e já apresentou defeitos. Alexa não funciona e as vezes ela trava, sem falar que ao tentar ajustar o volume não funciona também. É preciso desligar da tomado para voltar a usar até ela travar novamente. Parece que o problema está na última atualização do firmware. A gambiarra que dá para fazer é deixar o microfone desativado para ela não travar. Mas não faz nenhum sentido comprar um produto de mais de 5 mil reais para não funcionar direito. Recomendo fortemente a NÃO COMPRA deste produto até que isso seja corrigido!

O som é muito bom, Dolby Atmos maravilhoso. Apesar de que todos os testes que fiz, ele não separa os 4 canais superiores corretamente, é lado cima-esquerdo ou cima-direito. Não está separado entre frontal ou traseiro superior. Além disso, a Alexa não funciona. Ela não atende pelo nome. E para piorar, de vez em quando a soundbar trava, para de responder aos comandos do controle remoto, nem volume posso alterar. Após um tempo, a soundbar fica completamente silenciosa e pára de reproduzir sons. Ela só volta ao normal após desligar e ligar novamente, o que se torna um processo muito lento pois a soundbar está travada. Melhor desligar pela tomada. Fiz um vídeo do youtube mostrando o problema. Espero que uma atualização futura melhore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. Just wow is the first paragraph of my review for the Samsung Q990B 11.1.4 Dolby Atmos/DTS X soundbar surround sound system. Literally that sentence sums up the specs. It's an 11.1.4 surround sound system with a soundbar for the front channels and it has an included LFE subwoofer and 4 height channels. 2 in the rear surrounds (which are WIRELESS btw) and 2 in the bar. Now normally one would think that's a great setup. But there's a special sauce in this Samsung soundbar. The satellites and the bar each have a side firing surround driver integrated into the channel distribution. Because of this immersion-adding supplemental bonus, the dimensionality of surround sound tracks in movies and gaming both just becomes next level. It is IMMERSIVE. It's an experience. It's next-gen surround sound. Bravo Samsung. Coming from a 5.1.4 setup I wasn't expecting THIS BIG OF A DIFFERENCE. I can only imagine what it would feel like to folks coming from TV speakers or a single channel soundbar setup.

I purchased the Sonos Arc Ultra first to hear it in my space, which is a big open two story family room. It was good sound but underwhelming. So I returned it and purchased the Q990D. Maaaan, when I tell you this thing fills the room. The sound quality is superb. We hosted a NFC east championship party and everyone kept asking about the speakers. The sound was hitting from every angle in the room. Not sure why people say they need more bass. The floor was thumping. I'm very much satisfied with the Q990D. Highly recommend it. 5 stars all day, every day!

I wanted a soundbar system that would enhance my q90d 85-in television. I went back and forth with myself in comparisons for the 990d and the 990f. In the end, I decided that since I had a q90d television, the 990d would be a perfect fit, especially since it was priced slightly lower than the 990f. The setup was easy That's all I had to do was follow the instructions. If you mounted it on the wall I would have suggest two people since the soundbar itself is pretty massive. Also, my suggestion is to make sure that you kind of stud in the wall on at least one side. The rear firing speakers were easy to place. However I did have to buy a podium for each because I didn't have shells for it to go on based on my living room layout. Once it was connected to my television I ran a silver test from YouTube. That would give me clarity and the immersion that I was looking for. The base is good but not great. However, what I did to negate the vibration on my tile floor, I bought a mat that could be used for yoga and I placed it on top and that quilled the vibration. With this setup, I don't feel like I ever have to go to the movies. I am very satisfied with this product and I would buy it again.

Besides the amazing sound from the 11.1.4 channels, it gives us another Alexa link which is really easy to use. The soundbar, subwoofer, and rear speakers give an amazing immersive sound. My only complaint is that the rear speakers are not flat on top - a very minor thing but they sit on a table behind my couch and I go to set something on top of them and realize I can't. The soundbar and rear speakers are small but have great sound. The soundbar sits easily on the shelf below my TV. The subwoofer sits under the shelf and gives a full bass sound that really fills the room.

Not to bad to unpack while still have adequate packing to protect it while shipping. Setup was easy. The wireless connectivity of everything has come a long way. After simply plugging everything in and allowing it to pair setup was done super simple. I would also like to mention the this soundbar now supports hdmi passthrough at 120hz and 4k. It's a nice feature to have if your short on hdmi ports, though I would still recommend hooking the soundbar to your tv via your Earc port if your tv has it. My tv instantly recognized the system and adjusted the sound settings on its own. I also would definitely recommend mounting the surround speakers to the wall vs a stand or just on a side table, in my opinion having them higher up really helped the overall sound. So far I have watched a few movies, listened to music and played a few video games and it has excelled at everything so far. The surround speakers really do there job well for the full experience when your really getting into a movie. They are also surprisingly accurate while playing online games. I had a heads up on which direction my opponent was coming from well before I could see them. Plenty of bass for music if your into that sort of thing. If your worried about how loud the setup can get don't, I'm pretty sure you could blow out an eardrum before you max out the volume. Overall I would most definitely recommend at least trying this system out if you are in the market for a surround system

O som é incrível, mas a Alexa não reconhece como um dispositivo alexa, ou seja, não da pra colocar nos grupos ou comodos para controlar os dispositivos. Sem contar que ela para de funcionar e perde a conexão no meio do filme. Enfim vou devolver, fiquei muito insatisfeito com a qualidade dos recursos. E pelo que andei pesquisando esses problemas são com todas as soundbars e a samsung pelo visto não resolve o problema. Pesquisem sobre o problema da alexa antes de comprar, vão ver que vem acontecendo desde 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soundbar offers good surround sound with ok bass. Always better than having just a TV to push out the sound. Have always had trouble with the Amazon Alexa part of this soundbar and could never configure that correctly to get the functionality of the Alexa to power on the TV for example. One other thing to add: no fault of the length of the soundbar, however because of the unevenness of the studs behind my drywall I was unsuccessful to be able to center the soundbar to be wall mounted under the TV so on top of the TV stand it goes. Best investment for any OLED TV or QLED TV and works with well with Samsung SmartThings app.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girlfriend and I love watching movies and streaming shows. The Samsung Q990B Soundbar system has brought this experience to the next level. The wireless subwoofer and rear channel speakers really make a night and day difference when watching movies and shows. The soundbar itself is substantial and looks appropriate with a 65" or larger display. The sound is crisp and clear and does a great job of pushing sound out to the left and right channel areas. It has a ton of power and we can really crank the volume up if we wanted a movie theater level audio experience. The rear channel speakers work great. There has been a few times where I actually think to myself something is happening outside behind me because of how natural the audio sounds through the rear speakers. The subwoofer really brings the experience to life. In a lot of modern film and shows they use tonal audio tracks to build suspense or action feeling. When you have a subwoofer these moments are really brought to life, and the subwoofer offered with this kit produces a perfect amount of bass. Enough to really feel it, but not so crazy the neighbors windows are rattling. The best part about this system is how easy it is to setup. We just plugged every component into power, connected the soundbar to the eARC HDMI port on our Samsung display and everything is connected automatically. Using a Samsung display, the soundbar volume is automatically controlled through the display remote and the display's built in speakers are disabled. If you want to fine tune the experience you can easily connected the system to Samsung SmartThings and configure everything with your smartphone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two of my TVs had an older, Vizio 5.1 soundbar setup, and while it sounded good, I was excited to upgrade to Atmos on one of them. The first thing I noticed straight out of the box was the sheer size and weight of it. Traditionally, soundbars use tiny, underpowered drivers and make compromises to fit into a small form factor. That clearly was not the case here. The soundbar itself probably weighed twice as much as my old Vizio bar, and the surround speakers were at least double the size. The soundbar is impressive in its performance. SpaceFit Sound Pro is so much better than doing a manual calibration, and the rear speakers have up-firing drivers to really drive home that Atmos sound quality. Clearly, the gap has been closed significantly between soundbars and a true home theater setup, and for most people it will be the best option. Yes, it's expensive, but it is still much cheaper than a traditional Atmos setup, not to mention you would need to drill a bunch of holes in your ceiling and run wires for that. The only real complaint I have is that the amp for the rear speakers is in the speaker itself, which means the speakers need plugged into power to work. I have speaker wires run for surround sound setups already, but they require speaker wire, not power wires. Oddly enough, the cheaper Samsung soundbars actually use a system with an external amp that would work much better with my setup (and I'm guessing others' as well), but I'll figure out a way to make it work with wire molding or something. Still, it's an incredible soundbar. You literally cannot buy a better one on the market today than the Samsung 990D. If you value sound quality but do not want to spend thousands, run wires, and install speakers in your ceiling, this is what you want to buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, it looks great, I know soundbars are normally judged on their sound, but this one looks good too. Slim design with those angled corners, it looks great next to your set. The rear speakers are just as well designed; nice and compact, not too overbearing, and sit well in the room and the Subwoofer, with its exposed side, finish off the package perfectly. Now you’d expect something pretty impressive from 22 speakers, and it does not fall short of this expectation, the sound is epic! I know it’s said a lot, but you feel like you are there with the way the audio is thrown across the space, birds above and behind you, the sound of a crowd in a football match around you, while the centre speaker take care of enhancing the voices. Its so impressive the way the sound is projected around you, effortlessly, without having to adjust levels and try to adapt the sound profiles in your television settings. The HDMI eARC function is the bit I was most excited about, I found that I was having to alter the sound settings on my television before when using multiple apps and streaming services to make best of the audio I was getting, but with the HDMI eARC you get the audio as it was intended without having to mess about with settings. Seamlessly switching between 5.1 to Dolby Atmos depending on what it is you choose to watch. Set up was simple, it might be obvious, but you still need power cables for the rear speakers and subwoofer, so “wireless” as they are, this is purely connecting back to the soundbar, you will need a power outlet for them. Bare that in mind when thinking about where you are going to put this. But you literally plug it all in, switch it on, and the wireless connectivity takes care of itself. Nearly 4 week in, I haven’t found any issues with it, connectivity is great, Alexa works well, and the Bluetooth sound sharing is also a great addition when streaming music, it’s an all-round thumbs up from me.

The breathtaking execution of Dolby Atmos in a convenient and compact form factor is almost unbelievable. Setup was an absolute breeze. Using HDMI eARC on my Samsung S95C QD-OLED TV, the soundbar automatically connected on powerup and configured the Q-Symphony setting. This allows my TV speakers to be used as additional directional sound, creating an even deeper sound spectrum. There were two obvious upgrades I noticed this year from last year's Q990C. First, it's has HDMI 2.1 passthrough, allowing for 4K 120Hz, which is a must have for next-gen consoles. Second, they changed the color, which is a major aesthetic upgrade in my opinion. You can see the difference in my surround speaker images. The speaker on the left is the Q990C, which is a greyish color, while the Q990D on the right is solid black. Trust me when I say it is a huge improvement in how good the soundbar looks under your TV. The remote is the same slim formfactor as last year's model, with the convenient "CH LEVEL" button that lets you navigate directly to speaker level adjustments, and the "TONE CONTROL" button that takes you right to the bass and treble adjustments. If you haven't purchased a Samsung soundbar in a few years, you'll find these buttons a convenient addition to the remote. The sound on this unit is loud, and I mean loud, and the base is comparable to an actual movie theater. Where the HW-Q990D really shines is its implementation of Dolby Atmos. When you watch content that has full Dolby Atmos support, the depth and accuracy of the directional sound will leave you speechless. If you are using a Q-Symphony enabled Samsung TV, it literally sounds like voices are coming directly out of the characters' mouths on the screen. If you are looking for a full-scale soundscape in video games, movies, and sports, the HW-Q990D will give you that and so much more in a convenient and compact formfactor. I promise this soundbar will make your friends and family jealous of your home setup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The latest iteration of the 2022 top of the line Samsung Dolby Atmos sound bar is finally getting all the details right! I have had the last 3 iterations of this sound bar and up until now have always had somethings missing on my wish list to make the perfect sound bar system. Samsung is listening and has now closed the gap on the must haves or wish lists to make the system flawless. First off the packaging has slimmed way down. Coming in a very sleek compact box compared to previous years making it easy to unpack. My biggest gripe of last year's model was the change to a fabric coverlet to the speakers. This made the systems speakers feel less premium in my eyes and I'm glad to say the new 2022 system has returned to a nice premium metal speaker grill cover and done away with the lint and dust magnet speaker covers of 2021 model. Another miss in last year's model was the front display being placed on top of the sound bar. This made it impossible to see what inputes or sound settings you were using unless you got up and looked on top of the bar. Thankfully the new 2022 model has returned the display to the front of the bar. My biggest gripes with many wireless sound bars is the bass module not having a great connection. In years past I would fine the bass would cut out often to the point where you would have to unplug the bass cabinet to get a better connection. It just didn't have the full rich bass like wired systems and the sub seemed sub par no pun intended! This new 2022 sub and system seemed to have gotten the bass right. The sound fills the room and the bass no longer feels thin or cuts out. The new sub is rich and deep in sound and feels like it's now a wired addition to the system instead of being an after thought. This alone makes the sound bar head and shoulders above the rest. In addition to the new sub, this year's model adds in another 2 sound fields to the front and another additional 2 sound fields to the rear speakers. Making this an 11.1.4 Dolby Atmos and Dolby DTS system. Truly an immersive sound that easily fills the room and makes you hear things around you that you never did before with other sound bars. I questioned whether or not to update from just a year ago but with the updates Samsung has made in just one year, I highly recommend you jumping in on this year's model for the most immersive wireless sound bar system yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been following samsung soundbar since hwn950, there have been a significant improvement each generation and the q990d seems to be a mature product that will check every box. The sound is clear and strong, I was never able to crank it up to the max since I don't want to disturb a neighbor, the bass is super strong so I had to keep the volume down during the last of season two to be able to continue watching without having nightmare later on. Atmos effect is awesome and sound bubble is top notch after adjusting the position of speakers. Setup is easy and quick and using the device is quite simple. A true flagship home cinema experience with reasonable price.

At first the, subwoofer would not connect to Bluetooth and I had to bring the entire system back to UPS to ship to Samsung. After getting it repaired, I haven’t had any trouble with Bluetooth. The sound fills the room, especially at higher volumes . My only criticism is the rear satellites are rather muted. Even set to surround mode and/or manually raising the levels they just don’t have a lively sound, but are serviceable. This will never reach the quality of dedicated powered speakers, but the smaller footprint, no speaker cabales and decent sound make it ideal for my living space

The setup was extremely easy. All of the speakers automatically connected to each other as soon as I plugged them in and connecting the system to my TV only took seconds. I am super impressed as to how easy it was. The sound totally fills my living room which makes watching movies really come to life. I never thought I really needed to have rear speakers, but now that I do it will be a must for me from now on. I really like the SpaceFit Sound feature, it basically adjusts the speakers based on the sound being picked up by the built-in microphone. Very cool for sure and a real game changer. I would highly recommend this system to anyone looking for a premium sound system!

It took my husband a few minutes to hookup and configure the soundbar to our tv. The instructions provided are sufficient for connecting as long as you have experience with other soundbars. The SmartThings app makes adjustments to the sound levels and other features easier than using the included remote, but using the included remote is not impossible it just takes a little longer. Overall this is the best soundbar we have owned. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience true surround sound.

Estou com a soundbar há 15 dias, e de cara achei ela fantástica, o som é realmente bem melhor que meu antigo sistema 5.1. Mas assim como a outra avaliação, primeiro a Alexa só funcionou no primeiro dia e nunca mais, à partir de 1 semana de uso, comecei a ter desconexões do subwoofer (as caixas surround que estão mais distante nunca desconectam). Por fim, comecei a ter o problema de ela ficar irresponsiva depois de algumas horas contínuas de uso: você aperta o botão, ela acende o display, então ela está recendo um comando, mas não executa este comando. E em mais 1 hora ela para o som de vez, e só volta a funcionar se desligar da tomada e ligar novamente. O pior de tudo que isso é um problema que está acontecendo com pessoas do mundo todo a partir do firmware 1008.2 (EUA, Índia, outros paises da UE), mas a minha já veio de fábrica nessa versão, então nem consigo dizer se antes dela funcionava direito. This product is a great investment. I have been enjoying the great sound output since I purchased this amazing soundbar and nothing else can compare to the quality. My only concern was that the surround sound rear speakers don’t work without being plugged in to a 120Vac outlet. I found that to be somewhat deceptive because everything i read and saw about the product did not in any way describe it as being wired. For that I was disappointed being that my intention was to hang them on the wall and that cost me more money to have an outlet mounted in the position intended for the surround sound rear speakers

A soundbar chegou essa semana, o som é excelente, mas após duas horas de uso a soundbar fica irresponsiva, ela trava quando o microfone está ligado... ela para de responder o controle remoto e preciso remover da tomada e ligar novamente para ela voltar a normal. Outro problema é que Alexa não funciona, após realizar a configuração ela não responde os comandos por voz.

Como pode uma soundbar topo de linha da Samsung apresentar problemas sérios após última versão disponibilizada de firmware e ninguém da Samsung buscar uma solução a respeito. Trata-se de um problema Mundial não afetando apenas o equipamentos vendidos no Brasil. Algo precisa ser feito de imediato!!!

Perfect match with Samsung TVs using Q-Symphony, I’m totally amazed of sound quality, and even if volume is set at max, the distortion is minimal, and loudness is incredible, I have to watch TV with volume at 20 or less (out of 100), watching movies with Dolby ATMOS is wonderful, you feel totally immersed in the movie. This is the perfect match for QN90D

Wall mounts for soundbar were included. For the rear speaker stands you have to purchase those separately. I paired this soundbar and surround speakers with a brand new Samsung 83" TV and the entire experience watching TV, movies, or playing video games is incredible! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm always amazed at Samsung's ability to pack such a theater like experience in a single box. The HW-Q990D is no exception. I unboxed this soundbar and connected it to my Samsung QD-OLED TV expecting a traditional soundbar experience. I was not prepared for just how well Samsung managed to execute Dolby Atmos with this soundbar. The rear satellites feature a front firing, side firing and up firing speaker, which is enveloping as it is, but the speaker array on the soundbar itself makes it feel like there are sounds coming from virtually every angle of my room. My Samsung TV is actually Q-Symphony equipped as well, so it allows me to use the TV speakers with the soundbar for additional front channels. The subwoofer is loud, punchy, and deep. You can tell by the weight and heft of it that it will deliver that punch, and it does. This is hands down the best sounding soundbar I have ever used, and the setup and convenience make it the best audio system I've ever owned overall.

I’ve had the Q990 D sound bar now for three months and absolutely love it actually bought a new Samsung TV to go with it and the sound is absolutely fantastic. The louder you play it the better it sounds the subwoofer really puts out a fantastic Deep base it is a must buy well worth the money.

The setup is easy - just plug it in and it works without messing around. The Symphony is nice but I could barely hear the difference - however I can tell it's there if I pay close attention. The bass is good, but not earth shattering. If you don't think it's enough, your expectations are too high. You are the problem. Find this at the right price and it's an incredible value. I'll never be without this soundbar again. It's a game changer.

The sound is what matters in this soundbar and it definitely delivers absolutely the best sound! I was usually skeptical of buying a soundbar as I am used to having a dedicated receiver with speakers spread out in my living room. I was totally floored and surprised how Samsung managed to build Q990B so well and deliver the sound like never before. Dolby Atmos and Digital Surround are superb and the upfiring speakers do the job. I like the slim remote control it comes with, it has all the necessary functions to get your soundbar tuned. SmartThings app helped me get this soundbar online, update it to the latest version and do other tweaks. I had friends over and ran a few demos on this soundbar and everyone was astonished by it. I don't think I will be going to a theater any time soon as I have the same sound stage here at home! If you are looking for the best Audio for your Home theater, get this model and you will be set.

This has to be the best sound bar ever pared with our 77" OLED TV ! I live in the suburb and like a stone away from each other. Our movie night has turn to become our favorite time together at our own home. Movies comes alive! It has significantly enhance our viewing experience. Après avoir fait l'acquisition d'une TV QLED 8 K modèle 2021, j'ai acheté la barre de son Q990B. Des techniciens de l'enseigne m'ont installé le tout sur un mur du salon. (Installation et mise en route avec démonstration ). Le son est synchronisé avec la TV en mode Q-Symphonie. Pour la puissance, que dire ? Sinon, que c'est une folie ! Niveau 19, est pour moi plus que suffisant; Sachant que vous pouvez monter cette puissance à 100. Maintenant, je passe aux défauts que j'ai rencontré. Le fil de raccordement est fait pour une barre de son posée sur un meuble, longueur de 1,5 mètres de couleur noir. Quant est-t-il pour une pose sur un mur ? Avez-vous cela dans vos accessoires ? Mon mur est blanc...(option possible ?), et il me faudrait une longueur de 5 mètres. pour cela. Les deux supports de la barre sont trop souples, pas assez longues et rigides pour le poids qu'elles doivent supporter ( 19,4 kg). Du coup, la barre de son s'incline vers l'avant. (mon mur est en brique plein). Après vérification avec le poseur, on a conclu que le défaut venait des supports. La télécommande est petite en main et sans rétroéclairage, dommage. Sinon, hormis ces défauts, je suis hyper content de ces acquisitions (TV+ Barre)

I was worried the adaptive sound wouldn't work well with so much space. It does just fine, more than fine. I would recommend putting this sound bar in a more enclosed area for much better performance. But it flat out thumps when playing music. The rear speakers do such a good job of filling the space behind when watching a movie. Even my wife approves of the purchase and she was worried it was too expensive. There have been 0 complaints after plugging it in. It's products like this that keep me coming back again and again to Samsung. I'm just as happy with this sound bar as I am with my 3rd TV from them!

When pairing the Q990D with my 75 inch Samsung tv I truly elevated my entertainment experience to a level I never dreamed. When streaming movies from native tv apps I get fully immersed from the Dolby Atmos for I truly feel like I am sitting inside a bubble with action happening behind me, above me, beside me, and in front of me. I am also able to pass my PS5 through the soundbar without losing any of my favorite gaming features. I have had zero regrets since making this purchase.

AS VERSÕES ATUALIZADAS RESOLVERAM OS PROBLEMAS DE CONEXÃO Fiquei muito apreensivo de comprar, porém +/- em Setembro 22 foi atualizado o firmware e aparentemente o defeito de falha de conexão foi corrigido. Comprei na Kabum em out 22 e funcionou sem problemas. Para quem estiver tendo problema de conexão com as versões antigas, 90% dos casos são por conta da reder wifi interferir. É só trocar no seu roteador a banda para uma zona fixa, ou, preferencialmente, para 2.4ghz

Movies feel like I’m in the theater — the bass hits hard, dialogue is super clear, and the surround sound really fills the whole room. Setting it up was super easy, and it connected to my Samsung TV right away. I love that it’s wireless (except the power cords, of course), so there’s no messy cables all over. Music sounds awesome too — crisp highs and deep lows — and Atmos effects are noticeable without being gimmicky. Honestly, it makes me excited to rewatch old movies just to hear them with this system. I had a Q600B with rears as my main sound for watching movies in my living room. Recently I purchased the Q990D, and this thing is huge, the rears are twice as big compared to the ones I had before. I can hear voices clearly, birds in the background I have never heard before. Example, I was watching 1917 and in the scene a quarter into movie where the plane flies over head, I promise you it really did feel and sound like it was flying over head. Best purchase I have ever made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am upgrading from the 2021 model and the difference is night and day. The upgrade to the build materials makes this soundbar feel even more premium. We have animals so the removal of the fabric from the soundbar was a great aesthetic update that keeps the soundbar clean looking. Moving the display to the front was the best build upgrade, as in the previous model you couldn't see it without directly standing over it. Performance-wise, the HW990B has much more bass than the 2021 model. The Q-Symphony function is much better than the 2021 model sound fills the room. There has been no need to bump up any of the 11 channels to overcompensate for underperformance. Watching tv and movies is an immersive experience and has added a level of detail to the viewing experience, especially Atmos-supported movies. The Game Pro mode immerses you into the game with sound coming from all over. The only complaint I have is the HDMI ports were moved to the center of the soundbar, I would have preferred them more to one side and the one feature request I have would be 120hz support for the HDMI ports, but these are not deal breakers. Overall, I feel this soundbar is the ultimate experience in not just build quality, but features and performance. I would recommend this product to anyone interested in a multichannel Atmos soundbar.

I have had LG and Sony high end soundbars and I truly believe this Samsung Q990B crushes most of the competition today. With its 11.1.4 sound power this soundbar rocked my living room with beautiful Dolby Atmos. I found a number of YouTube audio demos and ran a few tests and this soundbar performed amazingly well. The sound stage was so realistic, I could not believe my ears at first. The two side speakers add so much richness to the experience, I must say! Both of those speakers are well made too. The soundbar itself is a perfect example how a device in its class should look and perform. The metal grill covers the entire body, no more cloth and dust particles. The set up was easy. I used SmartThings app to get it going, connected to my Wi-Fi and updated its firmware. You can also modify certain settings like Sound, EQ, etc. The remote is very nice, has all the functions that a user may need, like boosting subwoofer levels. This is definitely one of a kind soundbar, I was really impressed by its output power and was pretty much floored when playing Disney titles mastered in Dolby Atmos. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their current audio setup, I promise you this Samsung will blow your socks off. It is a great investment for your home theater.

I use it all the time with my projector also as a standalone speaker for my music. Truth be told I’ve never gone past 30 on the volume given that in an apartment, I am scared that I might wake up or cause problems with the neighbors. The only letdown of felt this the Atmos. I know it’s there, but even with my ceiling, it’s hardly makes a difference. I tried multiple ways, even reducing the other channels and just having the up firing ones, but the effect fell short on a dedicated Atmos speaker set up that used to have. Hopefully this can be addressed. Thanks.

awesome bar but there are connection issues. seems to be a random issue as many on forums dont have the issue. i did and i sent mine in 8/1. they promised to replace the bar on 8/5 and as of 8/10 i still do not have a replacement so thatvhas been a bit frustrating . i love samsung products and have bought a new tv and soundbar from them every year for the past 3 years. a bit disappointed this time around but i will update my review once the new unit comes. really hoping this one works as i love everything else about. qsymphony really does make a difference and if you have a samsung tv you really shouldn't even consider anything else.

I know it’s still early but man am I blown away by it all!!! The sound bar pairs beautifully with the QN900B’s QSymphony feature, glad that keeping the hardware paired up with the same mfc comes with a heavy hitting feature like this! My wife and I watched an episode of Andor last night and this morning she woke up talking about how cool our viewing experience is now, and that ‘I was right about upgrading our TV and sound’. Big big win here, thanks Samsung for making my tech nerd dreams come to fruition. I’m in couch potato heaven now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first true foray into proper surround sound in a living room, and I'm extremely impressed. First thing's first, to some, the inclusion of HDMI2.1 on the 990D (the 990C didn't have HMDI2. 1) may be a minor upgrade, but as someone excited to use this for gaming with console and PC at 120hz, 4k, and with the ability to push Dolby Atmos or DTX sound all at the same time, this was the perfect change. Onto the day-to-day of using it. I've done everything from gaming, to watching movies with Dolby Atmos sound, and even listened to music and podcasts on it. There's a ton of power in this system, I'd be surprised to find any normal sized house where this thing at anywhere near it's max volume wouldn't be more than enough to have deep rumbling bass and room-filling sound. The rear speakers have been a treat as well. They truly round out the experience as far as providing further directionality of where sounds are coming from. I've watched TV shows at 2am where there was a knock on the door, and honestly it jump scared me from how it genuinely sounded like someone was knocking at my door due to the surround sound. Outside of all this, the SmartThings app makes it easy for me to adjust settings on the fly whether I want to use it late at night and only have the rear speakers on, or if I want to do something like use the Voice Boost feature to make spoken audio sound even clearer. All in all, I'm extremely impressed with this soundbar system.

I wanted a top notch sound system that had Dolby ATMOS capability and I really wanted a subwoofer and rear speakers to make it complete. After lots of research I chose this Samsung HW-Q990D 11.1.4ch Dolby ATMOS Soundbar with subwoofer and rear speakers and so glad I did. The system fully integrates with the TV, and the subwoofer combined with the rear surround sound speakers provides the ultimate "movie theater" experience - in MY HOME! The unit also comes with a nice remote that allows me to control everything, including how much THUMP I want from my subwoofer. I would highly recommend this soundbar and would make the same purchase if I had to do it again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this soundbar, subwoofer, and rear speaker set for a few months now. It does produce great sound on some movies/shows/music, but then on others, other speakers don't produce as great of sound. Speakers may also not be size-compatible with some rooms -- rear speakers are larger than expected. It does produce great sound, but it is also VERY expensive and I'm sure other soundbars and speaker sets would work just as well. It is also very disappointing that you can't AirPlay Dolby Atmos from an iPhone to the soundbar. I haven't had any issues with the subwoofer and rear speakers disconnecting SO FAR, but I've heard this is a major issue amongst many.

If this is the best soundbar out there, then I’d hate to hear the others. Frankly given all the rave reviews, the performance is underwhelming. - with atmos soundtracks it can sound impressive, you have to have the volume so high that it’s impractical - with the volume at sensible levels, it just sounds flat - to get decent dialog clarify, you need to turn the volume up high, but even if you turn up the centre channel level, the surround effects are too loud - stereo separation for music is non-existent (unless you turn on a surround mode, but then it just sounds odd) - my ancient 4.0 (centre is broken) system sounds better

The Samsung Q990C is very easy to set up, basically plug-and-play. Straight out of the box, the sound quality is simply amazing. The clarity and power of the sound is truly impressive. The separate subwoofer provides a rich, deep bass that you can really feel, just like in a cinema, but not overwhelming and doesn't drown out any of the other sounds. The soundbar and rear speakers are made of premium materials and have a sleek and modern design that will look great in any home theatre setup. The soundbar pairs with the Samsung SmartThings app, which provides an easier way to change the soundbar's additional features. These features are all easy to use, and they make a big difference in the overall sound quality. I was particularly impressed with the soundbar's vocal enhancement feature. This setting makes it easy to hear dialogue clearly, even in noisy environments. The bass enhancement feature is also great for movies and games, and the space-fit sound setting ensures that the sound output is optimised for your specific room. There are only two slightly negative things I have to say about the Samsung Q990C and neither is a deal breaker: 1) The LED scrolling display of the soundbar is small. This makes viewing and changing settings/features slow as you need to wait for the text to scroll across the tiny screen before you know what you're looking at/about to change. You can work around this using the app which is much clearer and faster. 2) It has no 4K/120Hz passthrough i.e. the soundbar can handle 4K passthrough but can't do it at 120Hz. Unless you're a next-gen gamer, the lack of this feature won't affect you. Overall, I highly recommend the Samsung Q990C soundbar. It's a truly immersive audio experience that will blow you away.

I just thought to my self how bad can it be. The answer is None at all. To my ears everything is AMAZING! I never imagined this sound bar to be so Good. Love the Volume, it doesn't seem to gap no matter how loud I put it. I love that because others say its volume keeps getting louder but it just stops gaining volume like 8 volume levels ago. This is an amazing sound bar system. I love it. Makes me want to try their TVs as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first have to mention that the video reviews online fail to mention some key points on this soundbar system that have me in love. The soundbar system offers the Chromecast feature which allows you to play 24 bit/96kHz audio which is awesome but also with Bluetooth 5.2 and a Samsung capable device (Z Fold 6 for me) I am able to start at 24 bit/48kHz audio which has been amazing. I love the "sound grouping" feature which plays music at equal volume from all speakers - definitely a must when hosting a get together. "Private rear sound" is also a good touch whenever you need sound playing from only the rear speakers. I haven't used the private rear sound as much but it's nice knowing it's available. Overall, I'm impressed and glad I upgraded from the Q990C

My son also likes playing his game system, so we wanted audio to enhance that as well. We were blown away at how well and clear this system works. The audio is perfect and has no distortion at all. We can't even turn the volume all the way up because of how loud it is just turning it up a bit. You can feel the sub woofer and the rear speaker makes you feel like you are surrounded by the action. I would definitely invest in this system if you want a great setup for movies or gaming!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's cut to the chase: If you want solid quality Dolby Atmos in a compact, wireless package, with absolutely huge sound and all of the riveting effects, look no further. Buy. This. System. Yes, it really is that good. In fact, for what it is, the Q990B is nothing short of stunning. …Now that I have that part out of the way, there are some other things you’ll need to know to get the most out of it. Fortunately, none of them are major. We got this system for our dedicated media room. We have an 82” QLED TV mounted there, so Samsung was a front runner for a sound system to mate up with it. That room is also pre-wired for Dolby 5.1 sound. With Q990B, leave the prewiring behind. It's not needed. The only downside is all the included cables are far too short and not of the quality that the rest of the system clearly presents. Solution: Spend the few extra dollars to buy good quality cables that are long enough for your room. The first thing I noticed was the big, heavy box. That means big magnets. Good! This is a heavy sound bar with a huge sub-woofer and two sizable rear speakers. I must admit I was disappointed when I first turned it on. The sub-woofer was rumbling, the mid-range was missing, the high end was tinny, and the rear speakers produced almost nothing. I moved on to register the system with my SmartThings app. And that’s when everything changed. SmartThings includes an Auto EQ feature that uses white noise and a built-in microphone to custom tune the system to your specific room. After taking the 2-3 minutes to run it for the first time, the system transformed itself into exactly what I had hoped for. The sub-woofer sounds firm, full, even punchy, and totally solid. It even shakes the floor and our seats when it’s appropriate and then gets completely out of the way when it’s supposed to. The mid-range sound is amazingly detailed, which is something this musician/audiophile appreciates. I’m hearing instrumental parts and detail in songs I never knew existed. The high-end treble is clear without piercing your eardrums or screeching. And just when you think the basic sound is great, Atmos’ vertical firing speakers in both the front and rear come to life. Dolby got it right with Atmos and its object-oriented sound placement which uses the room itself to bounce sounds in every direction to create a truly immersive sound environment. All of it clear, crisp, full, and incredibly detailed. Bottom Line: Look no further. Buy. This. System.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Several months ago when I purchased my 2022 Samsung 75QN90B, I had read about the Q-Symphony feature it had when paired with a compatible soundbar. When I had the chance to purchase the HW-Q990B/ZA for this review, I jumped right on it! The soundbar arrived wrapped in very secure packaging. As I unboxed each component -- the soundbar itself, the wireless surround speakers, and finally the wireless sub, I marveled at the build quality. The remote controller is sleek and functional. It is very similar to the TV's own remote. The black shrouding on each piece of the system very attractive. The heft of the many magnets inside the speakers gives an immediate impression of quality components. The actual setup of the system took just minutes. I connected the soundbar to my Samsung TV via the HDMI / eARC port, plugged the power cords into the walls for each speaker and subwoofer, and pressed the single small pairing button on each component. The system synced perfectly on the first try. My Samsung Television recognized the soundbar, and within the sound settings menu I was then able to turn on the Q-Symphony functionality I had been dreaming about for months. This means the television's built-in speakers are perfectly synced with the full surround system expanding the soundstage even more. There is no delay whatsoever on any of the audio channels. Everything is just perfect. Over the past two weeks we used the Q990B to listen to music, watch live College Football games, stream television shows, play games on our current-generation console, and watched many of our favorite movies again. The Dolby Atmos sound tracks have added a new level of detail to many of our favorite movies. Hearing an object move around the room from corner to corner, or fly OVER your head and wind up behind you is really remarkable. Every person that we've shown the system to has been "wowed." The subwoofer produces a great amount of deep, rumbling bass with no perceivable 'muddiness.' I really enjoyed the automatic room calibration feature that figured out exactly how the system would sound the best in our particular living room. It seems like alien technology! There was a noticeable improvement in the surround effects once the auto calibration was completed. I cannot say enough good things about this soundbar. It has made me excited about watching TV again. Friday night movie, here I come! Saturday-afternoon football game with surround-sound crowd? Go-Team, Go!

received my second unit and, again i have been experiencing speakers disconnect right out of the box. again, its mostly the subwoofer. i have been moving it around and its now in direct line of sight of the soundbar but it is still dropping randomly. the soundbar sits on the tv stand of my 85" samsung qn85. such as shame as this product is otherwise fantastic. everytime it disconnect it makes me want to throw this thing out of the window its so frustrating. im not giving up as i sold my hw-q950a for it (which btw had zero disconnects) and i trust samsung to make it right but it means probably sending the soundbar for repair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned a lot of soundbars over the years from mid-range Sony setups to Kilpsch soundbars and I can confidently say the Q990 is the best one I’ve ever experienced. The moment you fire up a Dolby Atmos movie you’ll understand why this is the flagship. Height effects are incredibly precise, rain falls from above, helicopters swirl around the room, and explosions have real weight and rumble thanks to the monstrous wireless subwoofer. Dialogue is crystal clear and when you switch to music, the wide soundstage and punchy mids make everything from classical to rap sound alive and detailed. Every time friends come over they’re blown away and immediately start asking “how much was that?!” Worth every penny for serious home theater fans. Highly, highly recommended. 10/10.

After plugging in the power dor the sub, two satellite speakers and the soundbar (power and HDMI), I was off and running! I set the soundbar and my TV to eARC and started enjoying theater quality sound! I find that this system is immersive without just power a ton of sound at you. It is restrained surround sound. It's powerful and balanced without overpowering the front end soundbar. The up-firong speakers really provide the depth of sound and complete the experience!

We purchased this 85" FRAME TV 2 months ago, and love it. Enjoy the beautiful pictures/paintings on display. Love having the choice of what art to view. Also, enjoy the fact that you can choose how often the picture changes. The installation was straightforward and well explained. Love the OneConnect hub. Also, the surround sound bluetooth speakers are fantastic. Excellent quality and exactly what we wanted. Enjoy the choices it offers to sound quality. Highly recommend this sound system, avoiding all the wires to connect the peripheral speakers and woofer. Great sound that fills our 40 foot great room. 5 star all the way.

They always have insane deals going on so it’s a no-brainer. I did, however, expect theater quality atmos based on the aforementioned reviews but was a bit disappointed from there being no overhead sound. Maybe I don’t have it tuned right. Listening to music leaves more to be desired as well, but the system isn’t for that, it’s built for movies and they sound amazing paired with the sub and rear speakers. All things considered, it’s for sure a must buy for the price it sells for.

Dialogue is clearer, bass is deeper without muddying anything, and Atmos effects finally sound the way they’re supposed to. I didn’t realize how flat my old setup was until I heard this system. System definitely has a lot of benefits to the mid and lower options as far as balancing sound in movie, gaming and general viewing and sound. Still has noticed some limits on the more muted dialog vs the action and music but that could just be advance tuning I have not accessed. I feel that should be part of the initial setup. Would like more rear speaker surround sound even at lower volume and not need to increase the volume to what may be considered "louder than needed" by others in the household. Other than that, worth the investment. Would also recommend opting for equipment insurance since the system is not cheap.

My favorite feature is the spacefit sound autotune. The speaker automatic adjusts based on the arrangement of your room. I mainly use this soundbar for watching live sports, gaming, or bingewatching shows on Netflix or HBO Max. Would highly recommend picking this up if you want a high quality soundbar that is versatile and can adjust to different types of living room setups!

This soundbar was good until an update bricked it!! I turned off auto-updates after hearing horror stories about a previous update that bricked Samsung sound bars but I stupidly put the smart things app on my phone which I guess turned the auto-updates back on! In any event after the 1051 update in May, not only does the soundbar turn itself off after 45 minutes to an hour, there seems to be no way to reverse the problem! If you buy one, do not update it ever!! Also, do not install the smart things app, you have been warned! I have opened a ticket and all I can get is a canned "we will be with you soon" response.

First let me say the sound from this package is amazing. I paired this with a 98” tv for an impressive media room. The issue I have is in order for q-symphony to work between the tv and sound bar I literally have to reset the sound bar EVERY SINGLE TIME. Samsung sent a tech out and he changed some setting in the menus that only they have access to but it didn’t fix the issue. They next replaced the entire sound bar system but the problem remains….A YEAR LATER…. and now they fail to respond.

When the Soundbar is connected “Q-Symphony” menu appears on the TV Settings → All Settings → Sound → Sound Output. First, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in. Next, update the firmware on your soundbar. The easiest way to accomplish this would be to download the SmartThings app and connect your Soundbar to Wi-Fi. This will allow you to not only download any firmware updates but also control your entire soundbar on the screen of your smart device. Please also verify that you are running the latest firmware on your TV. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. If this still does not correct your issue, then do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - Volume buttons on the body of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. The LED display changes as follows: White moves from left to right and right to left, and the middle LED blinks Cyan 3 times. Then the middle LED will blink RED and turn off. I have the 8k 65-inch TV hooked up to the sound bar and the "Q Symphonic" sound is simply nothing short of amazing. I used to frequent the local theater with a few of my friends, but why? My picture is better, and the sound system crushed the surround sound effects. Also, I use a few music streaming services and my former wife, who is a bit of an audiophile, is impressed. She uses another competitor's equipment, but she is starting to migrate over to something along what I use. My movie going friends? They now ask if we can just rent something current and hang out here.

High ceilings and open layout make Atmos height difficult with any speaker but this comes the closest to giving me the feel. The open layout and large room gets filled nicely with the Q990D. I can hear the rears do their job and the center is clear and accurate. The bass, ohhhhh the bass, makes it feel like I’m in a theatre, clear and boomy, and I can “feel” it. Overall very good.
