Self Clean

Help keep the inside of the washer clean and fresh without detergent. Self Clean removes odour-causing bacteria* that form in the tub. It uses a combination of soaking, pulsating and a high spin speed to keep everything clean. It even notifies you when it needs cleaning**. 

* Based on testing by Intertek on a Samsung top-loading washing machine, using a biofilm of test organism Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC27853. Result: the Self Clean cycle removes more than 95% of the biofilm on the tub-insert carriers.
