Unfortunately, there are restrictions for product registration. Only certain Samsung products are eligible for registration. For example, storage devices such as SSDs, and accessories cannot be registered.

• Check if the product is eligible to register. 

• Check that the characters you have entered are correct. For example, the letter "O" can look like the number zero "0", and  the letter "S" can look like the number five "5." 

• Make sure there are no missing digits.

    - IMEI: 15 digits

    - Mobile/Tablet/Wearable device S/N: 11 digits

    - Other products S/N: 15 digits

We have prepared guides for your product, so simply click on the "How to find Serial Number or IMEI" button when prompted.

* Go to Product Registration → Click 'Register' → Click 'Enter serial number/IMEI' → Click 'How to find your Serial Number or IMEI'

Scan the QR code using the camera app on your Samsung device and follow the prompted instructions for registration. This feature is only supported on Samsung home appliances and non-smart monitors. Make sure not to confuse the product registration QR code for the SmartThings QR code.

When you connect your Samsung smart devices to the SmartThings app, they will automatically appear in the Unregistered Products section of the My Products section. You can register the product by clicking the 'Register' button. Please note that OEM products (that are sold by Samsung but not manufactured by Samsung) might not be automatically appear in My Products section when you register them in the SmartThings app.

You can register your Samsung Product using the Samsung Members App by following these steps:

1) Open the Samsung Members app, and tap ‘Get Help’

2) Select ‘Register Product’

3) Choose your preferred registration method: scan QR code, scan Wi-Fi, or use barcode

4) To complete the registration on Samsung.com, click the 'Register' button for the product listed in Unregistered Products section of the My Products section.

 

*Please note, products that are registered on My Page may not be visible in the Samsung Members app. 

Samsung TV models produced from 2020 onward have a convenient feature that allows you to register through your TV. This means that you don't have to find your serial number, making the process quick and easy. Follow the steps below to register your TV.

1) Press the home button on your remote control, then select Samsung Account

2) Log into your Samsung Account. If you have a Samsung mobile device, you can use the same account details

3) Select TV Registration

4) Read the on-screen terms and conditions, then select Agree & Register

5) Once the registration has been completed, select Close

• Using a VPN can cause connection issues. We recommend not using a VPN while registering.

• If you are unable to register your product using the Samsung Members app, uninstall and reinstall the app, then try again.

Registering your Samsung products gives you faster support and access to Samsung services for your registered products in one place.

• Product details are immediately available to Samsung Customer Service making it easier to find documents and queries can be processed more quickly.

• You can also:  (i) download the latest manuals, FAQs and instructions without having to search for your product; (ii)  track your service status online; (iii) check the manufacturing warranty with registration; and (iv) enjoy a personalized product recommendation experience based on your registered products.

• Manufacturer's Warranty: All Samsung products come with a manufacturer's warranty which is calculated according to the manufacturing date of the product using the product's serial number or IMEI.

• Confirmed Warranty: Your confirmed warranty is provided when Samsung confirms the date of purchase for your product. In order to confirm your warranty from the date of product activation, you must submit a receipt of purchase in a warranty dispute process. Your confirmed warranty is provided when Samsung confirms the date of purchase for your product. This only applies to Samsung products that are purchased at Samsung ecommerce platforms and authorized retailers.

Product registration is required in order to receive Samsung repair services online. Register the product from My Products and start the Samsung repair journey with the Get Support button.  *Please note that only handheld devices are eligible for online repair booking.

The personal information collected via the Samsung Account on My Page is used as follows:

 

• Device information is collected for a device that was registered by the customer or purchased while logged into their Samsung Account.

• To simplify the process for users to monitor the status of product repair requests.

• To make it easier for users to find information about new products related to the products that the customer owns.
