I've had the Z Fold8 Ultra for a few weeks now. I upgraded from the Fold6. I'm happy with the upgrade. The Fold8 Ultra is light, thin and powerful. The cameras are magnificent, battery life is great and I love the size of the main screen when opened. I do miss the S-Pen I had with the previous Fold6. The only complaint is the thickness of the camera. It protruding out of the main body quite a bit and makes it difficult or on some charger impossible to correctly place on wireless charger pads. I opted for an integrated magsafe case and upgraded my charging pads in home, office and vehicle to magsafe compatible fast chargers and have not looked back.

Wow. Preordered the phone last week and it arrived a few days ago.. My first fold phone and I absolutely love it. Honestly, wish they had a third camera but I fully understand. First up, you don't even think about the tiny crease or notice it; ignore the hype online. This has made phones fun again! I absolutely love how Samsung made a new device easy to use with one hand and the deals were phenomenal. Excited to really start using it but looking for a clear magsafe case first. I had a Fold 4 which I loved, but the crease, weight and thickness pushed me to the S24 Ultra at upgrade time. Now instead of the s26 Ultra, I just got the Fold 8 Ultra and it's soo good to be back! The crease is virtually gone, it's lighter, it's impossibly thin, more durable internal screen, bigger battery, brighter screen, flagship chip, higher resolution, improved hinge, flex mode, cover screen preview..almost perfect! My only complaint is the lack of fold pen support which was great on the Fold 4. I get it might have been difficult with how thin the device is and it's not a deal breaker, but it would have been a nice bonus. Great job Samung and thanks for the awesome trade in bonus!

everything about the phone phone Factor the screen side is excellent that's the best part of the z-fold 8. But be aware of the inner screen display where if you close the phone the borders of the phone does not protect the inner screen rather the inner screen touches each other so any kind of debris will cause the inner screen to break. You might also find that the touch response is not that great as the bar phones of the ultra. I just love the size, Samsung needs to work on this phone factor and make it perfect. Display quality is great but sometimes or most of the times it reduces the brightness I do not know for whatever reason it might be. And battery life it is okay for now goes through the day but you need to recharge it twice a day.

I pre-ordered the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra feels like Samsung has really refined the Fold experience. Compared with the previous generations, the improvements are noticeable in the areas that matter most to me. The battery life is definitely better, and I feel much more confident getting through a full day without constantly thinking about the charger. The crease on the main screen is much less noticeable, especially when watching videos or multitasking, which makes the large display feel more polished. The hinge is another big improvement. It feels smoother, more solid and refined when opening and closing the phone. Overall, the device feels thinner, lighter and more premium while still giving you that huge screen when you need it. Performance is fast, multitasking on the big display is fantastic, and the whole phone feels like a much more mature foldable than the earlier models. If you've been waiting for Samsung to improve the battery, crease and hinge before upgrading to another Fold, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is a very impressive step forward. Easily 5 stars from me!

Front display is too small and it could be little bit bigger for easy usage on unfold times 4.Digital bill board images are too pixelating due to the sharpeness corrections 5. I bought this phone at launch and its been great so far. The only feature upgrade I wish for is the ability to organize my app icons between the folded display and the main screen separately. Meaning if i arrange my icons a certain way folded, i want to be able to have a different icon arrangement when the phone is unfolded.

I’ve been extremely impressed with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. What stands out most is how Samsung managed to give it such a large, beautiful folding display while keeping the phone surprisingly thin and light. It feels much more comfortable to carry and use than I expected from a foldable with this much screen space. The inner display is easily my favourite feature. Once unfolded, it feels like having a small tablet in my pocket. Reading websites, checking emails, viewing photos and videos, and working with documents are all much more enjoyable on the larger screen. Multitasking is also excellent. Being able to have multiple apps open at the same time makes the Fold especially useful for productivity. I can check an email while looking at another app, browse the web while taking notes, or move between tasks without constantly switching back and forth. I also really appreciate that I can use the outer screen like a regular smartphone when I just need to do something quickly, then unfold it whenever I want the extra space. It gives me the best of both a phone and a tablet in one device. The combination of the large folding display, thinner and lighter design, and excellent multitasking has made the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra one of the most enjoyable smartphones I’ve used. Samsung has done an excellent job refining the foldable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a premium phone with a much bigger screen when they need it.

I upgrade my foldable phone every year, and compared to last year's Fold 7, this year's Fold 8 Ultra doesn't feel like a significant upgrade overall. The only fan perk—the free memory upgrade for pre-orders—has been cancelled. The only bright spots are the increased battery life and faster charging, and this year's anti-reflective screen is excellent. The crease is also less noticeable than last year. Now that the phone has the "Ultra" name, I hope next year's model will see more improvements, otherwise, I'll lose the motivation to upgrade.

Came from a galaxy note 20 ultra to z fold 8 ultra, I am completely amazed with this new phone. Still getting used to the folding aspect of the phone. I thought I wouldn't open the phone as much, but I find myself constantly opening it and switching to fold and unfold. The battery life is amazing, I can almost go 2 full days without the phone dying.
This is my first fold coming from the so called slab phone the s25 ultra. I have to say it grows on you as you use it. I chose this version as it's mainly for my work and multitasking capabilities. I like that unfolded it has two 5.5 inch screens. I do however, wish that there was an s-pen and they would do two 6.5 inch screens to live up to the ultra name. However, all in all my productivity has increased, for my work I have to review a lot of work and research so reading and multitasking is bar none the best I experienced on a phone. I hope they can add the 3 horizontal windows from the regular fold 8. Make sure you research a good case the phone is fragile compared to the slab phones. The battery has been impressive so far and lasts me almost the full day, we'll see in the long run. Responsiveness is good too.

Für mich war der Kauf ausschlaggebend, dass das Fold nicht mehr so schwer im Vergleich zum Fold 3 war und der Bildschirm im zugeklappten Zustand gut zu händeln ist. Da hatte ich beim Fold 3 stark mit zu Kämpfen. Die Falte im aufgeklappten Zustand ist fast nicht vorhanden. Das fand ich beim Flip 7 noch zu stark, gerade beim Lesen war das etwas störend. Die 200 MP Kamera war ein muss für mich, da ich gerne fotografiere. Ich finde man kann sehr gute stabile Bilder machen. Nachteile: Ist für mich der teure Preis und die mitgekaufte Schutzhülle, da sie das Fold nicht umfassend schützt. Es hätte auch ein Eingabestift bei dem Preis bei sein können.

I just got this a few days ago but playing around and tweaking everything I'm quite happy with it went from s25 to this phone and it feels much more premium the camera looks better and it's just a great experience with the multiple screens the ability to change DPI within the regular menu would be a nice win overall but I've had a lot of fun tweaking and playing around with that overall quite happy with this phone

I had the first generation and the third, fifth, and seventh. I can unequivocally state that the 8 Ultra is what us foldies have been asking for. The display is sharper that previous models and it runs anything I throw at it. Gaming, AI, Google Sheets, 3 bank apps at once; you name it I've tried it. The camera is wonderful and am glad I can trust it to take amazing pictures. The thinness makes this feel like I am using a regular brick phone but expandable! Thank you Samsung for your perseverance and not giving up on the fold design.

I chose the Fold 8 Ultra because I wanted the latest features without giving up the foldable design I already loved. The improved display makes watching videos and reading much better. The new AI features are also very useful for everyday tasks and help me get things done faster. The phone feels faster and smoother than my old Fold 5, and the camera improvements are another nice upgrade. Overall, I am very happy with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. It feels like a meaningful upgrade from my Z Fold 5 and makes my daily phone use easier.

The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

I chose Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra for mobility yet having the flexibility to be productive on the go. Also the portable big screen for entertainment or presentation was a deal breaker for me. From showing a plan on site to the clients to watching videos and reading articles, there is hands down no other phone with the best battery life, crisp screen, slim design and vivid colorful high res screens. I chose the violet shadow color which I absolutely love. It's dark and now too flashy, perfect for my taste. I just love the phone!

Battery- i used it in my marathon for 6 hrs and still have more than half. Display- front is crisp the middle is very bright and surprisingly awesome to use. Durability- feels very snappy though i need 1 more yr to say its durable but the built is solid. Hinge- it looks solid to me, this is my first time to use a folding phone. Having to be a Samsung user for over 2 decades, the AI features is surprisingly good. But in comparison with the previous One plus Open (years older) the samsung galaxy z ultra 8 is subpar for its camera quality and intuitiveness. The screen quality is also less. I have not tested its durability since I just got it for a few days. But the body durability and built seems soft. The battery also run out faster even on stand by. It heats up a bit when plugged. The hinge fold and crease is good. The performance is really good. The phone starts up fast.

When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

Vom Galaxy S25 Ultra welches ich vorher hatte, vermisse ich nur den Stift, der hätte ruhig auch hier verbaut sein dürfen. Aber ganz klar ich habe den Kauf nicht bereut und kann nur jedem der darüber nachdenkt, zum Kauf raten!

They just keep getting better and more durable. I chose the Zfold 8 Ultra as an upgrade to my Zfold 7 because of the extra battery capacity, the newer CPU, the better camera, the better screens (love the more matte look over the shiny), and an ever better hinge. Most of the time, I only use the front screen, but if I want to show off a family picture, or zoom in on an article, I just unfold the phone. Most people are absolutely amazed and ask me what the phone is called. The phone size fits well in my back pocket.

Also the screen size wasnt optimal when it was closed. I chose the z fold 8 ultra because of it size when closed for easy access. However when i look at the unfolded screen I get a big smile on my face. The screen is beautiful. I love how when navigating different it splits the open apps and the available apps on different sides of the screen. I just received it and am in love with it. It also has the key plus functionality for my car so i can use my phone as a touchless key. I love love love it.

Easy to grab and has a nice snap feel. The only reason I didnt grab the last year model was because of the battery and the fast charge capability. But now this new phone has 45 watt charge speed and 5000 mAh, just like the S26 ultra. And they werent lying about the improvements they made to the inner screen. You can barely see the crease and it has anti reflection on it too. Being able to also multi-task with google and notes is amazing. I will be sticking with this phone for as long as I can.

Going from the fold 6 to the fold 8 ultra is a huge game changer, bigger cover screen, super slim design, and even better cameras has been such a gamechanger for me. The 200 megapixel main shooter takes amazing photos, and the software enhancement to the pictures is also super impressive. The cover screen of the device is no longer skinny, but a normal sized screen that is way easier to use. I can't recommend this device enough, especially to people who own an older foldable, or just to the everyday person considering this form factor!

It is my 4th upgrade in a row, starting from the Fold 5 and now a days it feels pretty much impossible to me go back to a regular one-screened format phone, not to even think of changing to another brand. The titanium layer is definitely a great feature while keeping the device SO thin thanks to the silicon carbon battery. Definitely best foldable so far, hands down.

My previous phone was the zFold4. It was and still is a great phone, but I needed something thinner, lighter and with a little more battery run time and preferably new battery tech. Those were the goals for my next device. When the zFold 8 Ultra was announced it checked all of those categories. For my daily use, I get a full day out of it. Yesterday, for example, after a full day use, I had 55% battery remaining where as on my Fold4, I would have been around 37% more battery capacity. Now on paper, the difference should be around 13% but with the extra optimizations they have done with battery management I am getting much longer run time. Trade-offs: - Under screen camera on the inner display. - SPen support Gains with the new device: + Under display camera is significantly sharper! + Super thin device that is literally half the thickness! + Lighter weight + More pocketable + Bigger screen, both inner and outer, compared to the zFold4 Smart Switch app: Transitioning from my old device using Smart Switch made the move virtually effortless! It detected both devices, new and old and cloned all my apps - except one that was no longer available on the Play store - and it even copied my wallpaper, lock screen, widgets and app icons, even down to their exact placement! As for the missing features, although they would have been nice to have, they are minor in nature. For example, I hardly ever used the Spen for one. The under display camera was nice for videos, but it was terrible for video calls, which I often have with WhatsApp. Better video compared to a hole that you get used to is well worth the trade off. I suppose a work around is pop out the video, so it's a floating screen, resize and reposition. As far a durability is considered, my previous phone needed more protection. This phone, I think, might have learned from past design issues and provides better hinge protection. Another interesting note, is the phone seems much more responsive when it comes to dealing with my Bluetooth devices. For example, I use the Bluetooth function to give my car a internet connection for Spotify. The zFold8 ultra immediately connects and turns into a hotspot. The old decive worked too, but there was a noticeable delay.

So far the experience has been great. Still trying to get used to the small front screen (compared to the 24U) and doing more mult app tasks. There is a learning curve to use the big inner screen. The phone is very slim, even with a case, it is almost the same size as the 24U. Battery life is great, as good as my 24U. Gaming is beautiful. Pair with a mobile controller (like a Gamesir G8+) you got a great handheld device. Great job Samsung. Keep improving the fold line and there will be a lot more customers switching from IOS to Android.

I just received my z fold 8 ultra yesterday, the battery seems to drop quite fast when watching videos and multitasking. The hinge seems durable. The phone seems more responsive than my s25. The crease is almost invisible. Even though I have just received it yesterday, the phone seems quite durable. However, this phone is a tad heavier than my S25, I'm not quite used to it yet. It is a trade off for productivity tho. One thing that quite bother me is the quality of the speaker. I'm trading the featherweight s25 with nice speaker for a z fold 8 ultra with a huge potential of productivity and a great camera. I hope this is a good trade

The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

Watching YouTube videos on a larger screen and playing a few mobile games on the big screen also helps with eye strains. However, as a nitpick, I do wish the front screen was a bit bigger. I understand it would cost more, which means I will need to pay more, but I wouldn't mind it if I also get a decently bigger screen on the front. I upgraded from the S24 Ultra, so I still need to get used to the smaller screen and smaller keyboard. For a guy with big-ish hands, the small keyboard does annoy me a bit. But I guess that's a skill issue😆

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
