Winter coats and jackets can easily lose their freshness after being stored for a long time. With your Samsung AirDresser, you can quickly refresh items like coats, jackets, sweaters and even accessories such as hats and scarves using a Special Cycle. The AirDresser is designed to care for a wide range of fabrics, including delicate materials like wool, fur, and genuine leather, helping reduce wrinkles and restore a clean, refreshed feel without the need for washing.

Notes:

  • Always check the care label on your garments before using the AirDresser. This helps prevent damage and ensures you select the appropriate cycle, especially for delicate fabrics like fur, leather, or embellished items.
  • The AirDresser is designed for items that are washable or hand-washable.
  • Do not use the AirDresser for items that require dry cleaning or for heavily soiled garments. These items should be professionally cleaned or washed using a traditional method.
  • Silk items are not suitable for use with the AirDresser.
  • While the AirDresser can handle a wide range of fabrics, it is not suitable for all materials.
  • This guide applies to Samsung AirDresser models sold in Canada.

Down jackets are warm and comfortable thanks to their natural filling made from duck or goose plumage. To refresh your down items, use the Down Jackets cycle in your AirDresser. This cycle helps restore their loft, especially after long periods of storage.

For better air circulation, hang your items using the middle hanger position inside the AirDresser.

If your down jackets are damp after being worn outdoors, let them air dry overnight on a clothesline or drying rack before placing them in the AirDresser. You can also use a dryer if needed, but be sure to select a low heat setting.

Wool and cashmere are soft, delicate fabrics commonly used for winter coats, jackets, and sweaters. To refresh these items in your AirDresser, you can use the Winter Coat, Wool/Knit or Suits cycles. Always check the care label on your garment before selecting a cycle.

Do not hang wool or cashmere items when running a cycle, as this may stretch or damage the fabric. Instead, fold them and place them on the shelf inside the AirDresser.

If your items are damp, lay them flat to air dry. For best results, place a clean towel underneath while they dry.

Note: Only genuine leather items can be used in the AirDresser. Do not place artificial or vegan leather inside.

To refresh your fur and leather items, use the Fur/Leather cycle. This cycle is specifically designed to gently remove dust and odors from delicate materials. For best results, refresh one item at a time.

Note: Alpaca and camel hair may shrink when exposed to hot water.

Alpaca and camel hair are delicate fabrics that require gentle care, similar to wool and cashmere. Do not hang these items in your AirDresser, as this may stretch the fibers. Instead, fold them and place them on the shelf before starting a cycle.
