Discover Art Mode on your Samsung The Frame TV

When you’re not watching TV, The Frame transforms into a stunning work of art. Whether you’re an aspiring artist or simply want something more personal on display, you can upload your own photos and showcase them on the screen. For even greater variety, subscribe to the Art Store and enjoy unlimited access to an extensive collection of artworks from around the world.

Note: This guide applies to The Frame TVs sold in Canada. Available screens and settings may vary for models sold in other regions.

You can use Art Mode to display artworks or personal photos on the screen when you’re not watching TV, turning it into a full-screen showcase.

1 From the Home screen, press Left on the remote control to expand the TV menu on the left.

2 Using your remote control, navigate to and select Art.

3 Browse the available categories or visit the Samsung Art Store to explore a variety of artworks.

4 From the list of categories, select an image and press the Select button to view its details. Choose Preview to see the image in full screen for 30 seconds.

Note: If you like the image, you can keep it as artwork if it’s free, or by purchasing it or subscribing to an Art Store membership.

To switch between TV mode and Art Mode, press the Power button once on the OneRemote. In Art Mode, the display’s brightness and color tone automatically adjust to the ambient lighting in the room. The built-in motion sensor detects movement and will turn The Frame on or off accordingly.

If you want to turn the TV completely off without displaying art, hold down the Power button on the remote control for about 3 seconds.

Note: Art Mode cannot be permanently disabled.

To use the Art Store, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:

  • You must agree to the Smart Hub Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice.
  • You must agree to the Art Store Terms of Use, which include the Samsung Art Store Terms of Service, information about viewing history, advertising services that collect personal data, and personalized art recommendations based on collected personal data.

You can sign up for an Art Store membership using the steps below. Once subscribed, you’ll have unlimited access to all artworks in the Art Store. Choose between a monthly or yearly plan, then register your credit card to your Samsung account and complete the payment to start enjoying your membership.

2 Using your remote control, navigate to and select Art.

3 Scroll through the menu to locate the My Art Store section, then select Membership.

4 Select your preferred plan (either Monthly Plan or Annual Plan) to continue with your subscription.
5 The next steps will depend on your current settings and account status:
  • If not, use your phone to scan the QR code shown on The Frame’s screen (or visit the provided website). Follow the on-screen instructions to add the required information and activate your Art Store membership.

You can cancel your Art Store membership directly on your Frame TV or through Samsung’s subscription management website. If you’re using a 12-month free trial promotional offer, be sure to cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. You can cancel your membership at any time during your 12-month subscription, and you’ll still have access to the service for the remainder of that period, so there’s no need to wait until the last day.

Cancel on The Frame TV

The most straightforward way to cancel your Art Store subscription is directly from The Frame TV.

1 From the Home screen, press Left on the remote control to expand the TV menu on the left.

2 Using your remote control, navigate to and select Art.

3 Scroll through the menu to locate the My Art Store section, then select Membership.

4 Select your membership, then select Cancel Membership.
5 Select a reason for the cancellation, then select Cancel Membership again.
6 Confirm your membership by selecting it once more.
7 Select Unsubscribe.
8 When prompted to confirm, select Yes.

Possible variations in steps: The procedure may vary depending on your TV model or software version. Steps can also change after an interface update, but on-screen instructions will always guide you through the process.

Cancel with Samsung Checkout website

If you don’t have access to your TV or prefer another method, you can use Samsung’s dedicated website to manage your TV subscriptions, including the Art Store.

1 Using a web browser, navigate to the Samsung Checkout website and sign in with your Samsung account credentials.

2 Select Purchase History at the top of the screen.
3 Select Subscriptions.
4 Locate your Art Store subscription and follow the on-screen instructions to cancel your membership.
