If you’re not tech savvy believe me save your money and look elsewhere. Some functions you would never use and to be fair not require. Why no spin function only is beyond me. Why oh why don’t these makers of washing machines just produce a washing machine that just washes for 30 mins at any temperature and has various spin levels. Something simple, basic and user friendly. You’re probably wondering why I’m writing a critical review about a Samsung WW80CGC04DAE? I’m actually writing it on behalf of my partner who I might add returned the product.

Absolutely awful since the day I bought it. It selects its own time of wash cycles and it been off balance since day 1 despite doing everything correctly during set up and balance cycle. I thought it would be an amazing appliance due the price but its complete rubbish and I would never buy another one.

Have only done one full week’s washing, hence 4 stars instead of 5! Only downside so far is some programs are a bit slow - other than that, really pleased with machine’s performance. Spin excellent, and therefore will probably save money on tumble drying. Love the way one can alter set programs according to one’s own requirements eg adjust no of spins, spin speed etc

love it!! so quiet and cleans lovely. Only one thing, could serial number be somewhere easier to get too. I had my machine fitted by john lewis, then noted none of the paper work had serial number, so had to pull it all out again and its a heavy sturdy machine. There is a flap to the filter on the front, could we not stick it there?

This is a very high-tech washing machine. A great replacement and upgrade from my old one with so many mod cons and extras. It feels so luxurious to use with so many choices to refine the wash - 20-90 degrees, eco options, steam hygiene, timings, various material options and a lovely tune at the end of the wash. Only wish I'd replaced my old one earlier.

So far after a couple of weeks loving this washing machine. Fits into the space well, a bit slimmer than my previous machine. Looks good. Works well. This terrible machine will not stabilise even on a level concrete and tiled floor. Jumping around and has even broken the outlet hose bracket. It's alarming and has to be resited after each use! We are weighing each load and have completely levelled it, instructions and support are useless too. It even plays a tune presumably to go with the dance it does. Absolute rubbish...will never buy a Samsung again....even gone off their Tv sets too after this experience. 😳

I love my new washing machine, i have always had Samsung products. 15 min quick wash has hygiene steam if you just need to freshen something that has sat in your wardrobe for a long time, it has drum cleam. It is just an excellent product all round and I couldn't be happier. If you are looking for a great washing machine then this on is it or any Samsung product as I have watches, phones, I would not buy anything else.

I recently purchased this washing machine as an upgrade from an old one. The design is quite sleek (although would have preferred a straight up black option, but that's my own personal preference), the features and performance are spot on with a wash for near enough every occasion (as well as a very quick 15 minute wash for lightly soiled clothes). The biggest draw for myself was that this washing machine is A+ rated in terms of energy saving and to couple that with a VERY quiet machine, is honestly phenomenal. It took me roughly 10 minutes to install the machine and within another 20 minutes, I had completed my first wash with it! Highly recommend and I feel like it's one of the best at this price range.

Les différents programmes valent le coup (plus peur de laver mes pulls 100% laine avec le programme laine) et le nettoyage du tambour à l'eau uniquement est un gros avantage. Last machine broke after 11 years and I decided to go with a Samsung to match my other household appliances, this one is great, the clothes come out fairly dry from the machine resulting is less time in the tumble dryer. Has all the features you could want considering this is one of the more basic machines Samsung do. The machine is larger in depth than my old one and is quite heavy but fits perfect, is quiet and is extremely easy to use

J'avais un Samsung avant et il s'est cassé au bout de 5 ans - il y avait du caoutchouc déchiqueté partout et le tambour s'était déplacé. J'ai choisi d'en acheter un autre, mais je le regrette maintenant. Mon frère a un Samsung et le même problème lui est arrivé. La nouvelle machine est très bruyante. Je la mets en marche la nuit et je peux entendre le cycle d'essorage depuis ma chambre à coucher, qui est éloignée de la machine. J'ai acheté une machine de 9 kg, mais il n'y a que deux réglages qui permettent d'utiliser 9 kg. La plupart des autres machines ont une charge maximale de 2 à 4 kg. Dans l'ensemble, je ne suis pas convaincu d'avoir fait le bon choix. Le temps nous le dira.

Replaced 7+ year old near identical machine. It has a programmer fault and leaking seal. Uneconomical to repair, albeit it would have easily kept going part from that. Decided to go again with Samsung. They offered a big return customer discount. New model looks a little better built on the door and has a few new features, such as steam setting. Like the old one it is quite when new - didn't last before! Supposedly comes with 5 year warranty but the website so far will not recognise the serial number copied and pasted off the Samsung OnLine invoice! Will try and solve.

It has calibration mode on most settings, which means before it starts its wash it spins to measure the weight to see if needs a longer or shorter cycle. It spins really well. it has a self clean drum setting. It has a quiet motor for high spins.

I love my new washing machine it’s so quiet and the 15 minute Quick wash is just what I needed especially with the cost of electricity now so high so what I have been doing is putting on a 15 minute wash which has a spin of 12 so if you want it dryer you can put it on a drain and spin to get the 14 spin. The 1400 spin is really good as my washing comes out quite dry.
