How to resolve sound from Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ for muting automatically

Samsung had been notified recently that some non-compatibility third-party applications may cause muted sound phenomenon on the device.

 

If new third-party applications have been installed recently, we recommend to check your device in Safe mode or after uninstalling it.

 

To check your device in Safe mode, follow these steps:

1 Turn off your device
2 Turn the device on again when in off mode
3 While the device is powering up, press and hold the Volume down key when the device name logo Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ appears on the screen.

Your device will power up in Safe Mode

4 Once in Safe Mode, you will notice the Safe Mode text at the bottom left corner of the screen. If not, please repeat Step 1 again

While in Safe Mode, check your device with the third-party applications disabled. Identify which application is causing the issue and uninstall it.
