Using PowerFoam on Your Washing Machine

Samsung’s effective PowerForm delivers improved cleanliness with advanced fabric care. PowerFoam allows detergent to disperse evenly and penetrate fabrics faster and deeper.


During those cycles you should see bubbles rise up to at least the bottom of the glass on the back of the door.


If the bubbles have risen to that level then PowerFoam is working properly. It may seem like it is not working, at times, because when you have clothes in the drum they absorb the bubbles rapidly. Keep in mind that the PowerFoam function will work differently on differnt cycles. The most bubbles are produced on Heavy Duty, Wool, and Delicate cycles.

If you have a model that has PowerFoam and feel that it is not working properly:

    • Remove any clothing from the washing machine.

    • Run either a Heavy Duty, Wool, or Delicate Cycle

PowerFoam without clothes in the drum.

PowerFoam with clothes in the drum. 

If the bubbles do not reach the bottom of the interior door glass without clothes in the washer, service is required.
