Galaxy Tab 3 - How do I add a new or existing Google account on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3?

You can manage your Google Gmail, contacts, and calendar with your Galaxy Tab by adding a Google Account. Your Google Account will also grant access to Google Play Store where you can download an endless number of apps, media, and games.

Charges may apply for certain apps, games, and media in the Google Play store.

Adding an existing Google account

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. Scroll down and tap Add account.
  3. Tap Google to add a Google account and then tap Existing.
  4. Enter you email and password. Tap the Next arrow.
  5. Review the Terms of Services and Privacy Policy and tap OK if you agree.
  6. Mark the checkbox if you would like to backup you device to your account and tap the Next arrow to complete.

Adding a new Google account

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. Scroll down and tap Add account.
  3. Tap Google to add a Google account and then tap New.
  4. Enter you first and last name and tap the Next arrow.
  5. Enter your username and tap the Next arrow.
  6. Enter your password and tap the Next arrow.
  7. Choose a security question and an alternate email and then tap the Next arrow.
  8. Mark the checkboxes to activate or deactivate them and tap the Next arrow.
  9. Enter the captcha and tap the Next arrow.
  10. Enter payment information or tap SKIP.
  11. Mark the checkbox to backup your device to the account and tap the Next arrow to complete.
