Configure Power Saving Mode on Your Galaxy Tab 4 10.1
Power saving mode lets you set your device to conserve battery power. Battery power consumption depends on factors such as network configuration, wireless service provider, signal strength, operating temperature, features selected, vibrate mode, backlight settings, browser use, frequency of calls, and voice, data, and applications' usage patterns.
Screens and settings available may vary by wireless service provider and software version.
Turn On Power Saving Mode
Power saving mode limits performance to conserve battery power. You can choose which features you want to restrict.
From the Home screen, touch Apps.
Touch the GENERAL tab.
To switch to the tab view, touch More options > Switch to tab view.
Scroll to and touch Power saving mode.
Touch the Slider Off to turn Power saving mode Slider On.
The following options are available:
Select when turned on: Choose to keep power saving mode Always on or Auto enable it when battery power is low.
CPU performance: Limit the maximum performance of the CPU to conserve battery power.
Screen output: Use a lower frame rate and power level for your device's screen.
Turn off haptic feedback: Turn off the haptic feedback option to conserve battery power.

Turn off the Bluetooth® feature.
Turn off Wi-Fi®.
Turn off the GPS service.

Turn off auto-syncing of accounts.
Turn off the Smart stay feature.
Discontinue use of Live wallpapers.
Decrease the backlight time (timeout settings).
Decrease the brightness of the display.
Turn off haptic feedback.
