Adjusting the Screen Brightness and Timeout on Your Galaxy Tab S

You can adjust the brightness and timeout of your device's display, or allow it to adjust automatically depending on light levels.

Turning on automatic brightness and reducing the screen timeout can assist with battery conservation.

The instructions below are only for devices with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Adjust Screen Timeout

  1. From the Home screen, touch Apps > Settings > DEVICE tab > Display > Screen timeout.

  2. Select the desired screen timeout period from 15 seconds of no activity up to 10 minutes.
