How do I insert or remove the microSD™ card for my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2?

Your device lets you use a microSD or microSDHC™ card to expand memory space. This secure digital card lets you exchange pictures, music, and data with microSD compatible devices.

Screens and settings available may vary by wireless service provider and software version.

Insert the microSD Card

  1. Locate and open the microSD card cover on the side of your device.

  2. Insert the microSD card into the slot, with the gold contacts facing down, until it locks into place.

  3. Close the microSD card cover.

Remove the microSD Card

To prevent damage to information stored on the memory card, unmount the card before removing it from the device.

  1. From the Home screen, touch Apps.

  2. Touch Settings.

  3. Touch the GENERAL key.

    To switch to the tab view, touch More options More Options Icon > Switch to tab view.

  4. Scroll to and touch Storage.

  5. Scroll to and touch Unmount SD™ card.

  6. Touch OK to finish unmounting the card.

  7. Open the microSD card cover on the side of your device.

  8. Gently press on the microSD card to release it, and then carefully remove it from your device.
