Using Airplane Mode on Your Galaxy Tab E NOOK

FAA regulations require you to turn your device off or set it to Airplane mode for the duration of your flight. The Airplane mode feature disables your device's wi-fi and bluetooth connection. To use wi-fi, you will need to turn it back on via the Settings menu or Notification Panel. There are three ways to access Airplane mode.

Access Airplane Mode

Accessing Airplane Mode through Settings

  1. From the Home screen, touch Apps Settings Airplane mode.

  2. Touch the slider to turn Airplane mode on.

Accessing Airplane Mode through the Quick Panel

  1. To access the Quick Panel, swipe down from top of the screen.

  2. Touch the Airplane Mode to turn Airplane mode on/off.

Accessing Airplane Mode by pressing down the Power Key

  1. Press and hold the Power Key until the Device options menu appears.

  2. Touch Airplane mode to turn it on/off.

  3. Touch TURN ON.

  4. Airplane Mode is displayed at the top right corner of your screen when your device is in Airplane mode.
