Use Calibration Mode on the Top Load Washer

Calibration Mode detects the weight of your laundry and adjusts the cycle accordingly. So you can be sure your laundry will be washed to perfection. Here, we show you the most common ways to use Calibration Mode on Samsung Top Load Washers. Just keep in mind the procedure will vary by model, and not all models have Calibration Mode.

Method 1

Your Samsung Top Load Washer detects the laundry weight automatically, so all the work is done for you! For more accurate weight detection, run Calibration Mode after the installation.

Just follow these steps to run Calibration Mode:

  2. Press the Delay End and Pre Soak buttons simultaneously, and then press the Power button. The machine will turn on.

  3. Press the Start/Pause button to activate “Calibration Mode.”

  4. The pulsator will rotate clockwise and counterclockwise for approximately 1 minute.

  5. When the “Calibration Mode” is finished, “En” appears on the display, and the machine automatically turns off. The washing machine is now ready for use.
