Using Smart View with a 2015 (UN**JS*) 4K SUHD TV

Smart View allows you to share content between your Smart Device and your Smart TV. For more information on Smart View, please click here.

Smart View will be available for MAC soon. It is currently available for iOS 7 or later.

  

Samsung Smart View

  

The Play on TV feature lets you stream media from your mobile device to the TV. You can connect multiple mobile devices to the same TV and send content at the same time using the Queue feature.

Smart View Remote allows you to use your smart device a remote control for your TV. The Smart View app also allows you to use your smart device as a TV Game Controller.

Connecting to the TV

Both devices have to be connected to the same network.

  1. Install the Smart View app for Android, Windows PC, or iOS.

  2. Home > Settings > System > Expert Settings > Voice Interaction > Voice Feedback.

    Launch the Smart View app on your mobile device.

  3. Select Connect to TV.

  4. The page that displays offers a power button for your TV, information about the Wi-Fi network your smart device is connected to, and a list of the TVs that are detected.

    If your TV is not listed make sure both devices are connected to the same network.

  5. Tap on the TV you want to connect to and a pin will display on the TV screen.

  6. Enter the PIN on your mobile device.

  7.  The Smart View main screen appears.

  8. The app instantly pulls videos, pictures, and music that is stored on your smart device and makes them available to share on the TV.  

  9.  Just select a file to have it display on the TV.  

Using The Smart View Remote

  1.  Make sure you follow the steps to connect your smart device to your TV.  

  2. Look for the Remote Icon in the top right corner of the Smart View main screen and tap it.

  3. The remote appears. It has all the buttons you would need include a number pad and a Smart Hub button.

  4. More buttons are available under the more button in the top right of the remote screen.

  5. You can exit the remote screen by pressing the back button in the top left corner.
