NX58K9850: Using the Smart Control Feature

Opening the oven door or pressing Smart Control will remove  from the display and prevent you from being able to turn the oven on remotely.

Ifis not shown in the display, you can still monitor the oven and cooktop status or turn the oven off.

When oven cooking is finished or cancelled, will turn off.

Remote Control Functions

Functions that can be operated from the Samsung smart home app may not work smoothly if communication condition becomes poor or the product is installed in a place with a weak Wi-Fi signal. Please refer to the following table for the main functions that can be operated from the app.

When the remote control is off Monitoring (Oven, Cooktop, Probe), Oven off
When the remote control is on Monitoring (Oven, Cooktop, Probe), Oven start, Oven off, Auto cook, My cook, Error check


How to Connect the Oven

  1. Download and open the Samsung smart home app on your smart device.

  2. Follow the app onscreen instruction to connect your range.

  3. Once the process is complete, the connected icon located on your range display and the app will confirm you are connected.

  4. If the connection icon does not turn on, follow the instruction on the app to reconnect.

How to Start the Oven Remotely

Touch Smart Control, appears in the display. The oven can now start remotely with a connected device.

Oven Remote Control

  1. Transfer the oven setting (mode, time, temperature) from the device to the oven.

  2. Remotely starts the oven.

    Only available for Electric range.

  3. Remotely turns off the oven.

  4. Once cooking starts, you can change the time and temperature remotely.

  5. Self clean mode cannot be started remotely.
