EasyMove: Easily Transfer your Photos

Samsung’s EasyMove lets you easily transfer and save photos from your Convoy 4 to your Galaxy Tab E 8". You can even view your favorite photos as a slide show. After setting up your devices once, your photos are automatically transferred every few hours.

How to Use EasyMove

  1. Touch the EasyMove app on the tablet. Then touch START to begin with setup.

  2. The EasyMove app requires permission to use Bluetooth. Touch YES to turn on Bluetooth.

    EasyMove uses Bluetooth for transferring photos.

  3. Setup instructions will display on your tablet. Make sure that your Convoy 4 is close by to continue the process.

  4. Open the EasyMove app on your Convoy 4. Select Menu > Media Center > EasyMove.

  5. Follow the screen prompts to complete the setup on your Convoy 4.

  6. On the tablet, select Convoy 4 from the list of available devices. Your device may also display as SM-B690V.

    You can personalize the name of your Convoy by going into Settings > Bluetooth > Options > My Phone Info and enter the name.

  7. You will then get a pop-up to confirm the passkey for pairing devices. Touch OK to confirm. You will also need to follow the same steps to confirm on the Convoy 4. Select Yes and then select OK to continue.

    The passkey displayed differs between users, but should be the same on the devices you are pairing.

  8. Once the devices have completed the pairing process you are all set!

  9. Your pictures will be transferred automatically every 6 hours between 9 AM and 9 PM. You can change the time set by touching More>Settings>Automatically sync photos from phone. If you are curious to see your pictures right away tap Get New Photos to manually start the transfer process.

    Keep in mind that synching times will vary depending on the number of pictures being synced, the more pictures you have the longer it may take to complete the transfer.

FAQ's

  1. How do I view the pictures in a slideshow?

    Touch the slideshow button on the top left corner to start the slideshow. If you would like to close the slideshow, touch the x on the top left corner of the screen.

  2. How do I change time interval between pictures when viewing a slideshow?

    Touch More on the top left corner in the slideshow and then touch Settings. Touch Slideshow interval between pictures then choose an interval time that you would like to set.

  3. How do I use the pictures as screen saver?

    Touch More > Settings > Slide show settings > Screen Saver. If Daydream / Screensaver is off, turn the slider to on. Touch EasyMove. When your device is charging, your pictures will run as a slideshow.

  4. How do I change how often my pictures sync?

    Touch More > Settings > General settings > Automatically sync photos from phone and select Never, Every 3 hours, Every 6 hours, Every 12 hours, or Every 24 hours.

  5. How do I pair a new Convoy phone?

    Touch More > Pair new phone. You will then see a pop-up telling you that this will stop syncing with your paired device. Touch OK to continue. Follow the instructions found under How to Use EasyMove above to set up a new phone with your tablet.

  6. I got a connection error and what should I do?

    EasyMove uses Bluetooth to transfer pictures. Please make sure that Bluetooth is turned on and your Convoy is nearby (within 33 feet).
