Use Gear IconX Manager on a PC

You can transfer music files from your computer to your Gear IconX earbuds using the Gear IconX Manager - or without it. The choice is yours! Either way, we'll walk you through it.

Install Gear IconX Manager

First things first, let’s walk you through installing Gear IconX Manager. After following a few easy steps, you’ll be on your way.

  1. Insert the Gear IconX earbuds into the charging case and connect the case to your computer using the USB cable.

  2. Locate the IconX R or IconX L drive, and then navigate to the TOOLS folder.

  3. Double-click the Gear_IconX_**** installation file.

    Note: **** - Version of the installation may vary. For Windows, double-click the .exe file. For MacOS, double-click the .dmg file.

  4. To complete the installation, follow the prompts.

  5. After the setup is complete, run Gear IconX Manager. If an update is available, click Update.

  6. To complete the update, follow the prompts.

Transfer Music Files from Your Computer

Got hundreds of songs on your computer that you just need on your earbuds? Don't worry, we'll get 'em transferred in no time.

  1. Open Gear IconX Manager on your computer, and then select Add new tracks.

  2. Navigate to the music files you want to add to the Gear IconX earbuds, select the file(s), and then click Open.

Delete Music Files Saved on Your Gear IconX Earbuds

Wow! Did you run out of space with all those albums you stored on your Gear IconX earbuds? Make room for new ones by deleting some music files that are played out. Just follow the steps below.

  1. Open Gear IconX Manager on the computer, and then select Delete.

  2. Select the music files you want to delete, and then select Delete selected tracks.

Software Update

Keep your Gear IconX up to date by updating its software.

  1. Open Gear IconX Manager on your computer.

  2. To update the Gear IconX software, select Update.

  3. To complete the software update, follow the prompts.
