How do I Perform a Factory Reset on My Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 NOOK? (SM-T710NZKEBNN)

Your device lets you perform a factory reset to delete all of your personal information from the device. This feature ensures your data is removed before sending the device in for replacement or repair, giving it to a friend/family member, or disposing of it.

When factory resetting your device, the microSD card will not affected.

Perform a Factory Reset

Your personal information cannot be recovered after using this feature. Please save any information you need prior to using this feature.

  1. Navigate to Apps > Settings > Backup and reset.


  2. Touch Factory data reset.



  3. Review the information provided. If you inserted a SD card and want to delete the data on your microSD card, select Format SD card. Then, touch RESET DEVICE.

    After you format your micro SD card, the data cannot be recovered.



  4. To delete all information and downloaded apps, touch DELETE ALL.

    If you have a security lock set on the device, you will be prompted to enter the lock information before proceeding. Touch CONTINUE after entering the password. Then, touch DELETE ALL.

The process may take a few minutes while your device removes your personal data and restores the Android platform to its original state. You can reinstall any downloaded or purchased apps from the Google Play store.
