How do I Disable Auto Update Apps on Google Play Store on My Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 NOOK? (SM-T710NZKEBNN)

By default, most downloaded apps are automatically updated when a new update is available. If you would rather review the updates and any new changed permissions associated with the updates, you can choose to disable automatic updates. To learn how to disable auto updates on your device, follow the steps below.

Disable Auto Update for All Apps

  1. Navigate to Apps > Play Store.

      

  2. Touch the Menu icon located on your Play Store search bar.

      

      

  3. Swipe to and touch Settings.

      

      

  4. Touch Auto-update apps.

      

  5. Then, a pop-up window will appear. Touch Do not auto-update apps. Your app will not be automatically updated.

      

Disable Auto Update for Specific Apps

  1. Navigate to Apps > Play Store.

      

  2. Touch the Menu icon located on your Play Store search bar.

      

      

  3. Touch My apps & games.

      

      

  4. Select an app. Then, touch the more options icon.

      

      

  5. To deselect Auto-update, touch Auto-update.
