To add additional memory space to your device, you can use a microSD (not included). Your device has been tested to support up to a 64GB memory card.

Format a microSD Card

When formatting an SD card, backup your stored music and photo files to prevent data loss.

  1. Navigate to Apps > Settings > Storage.

  2. Touch SD card.

  3. Touch Format.

  4. To confirm the format, touch FORMAT.

Remove a microSD Card

To prevent damage on the information stored on the memory card, always unmount the card before removing it from the device.

Some apps may stop working until you insert the SD card again.

  1. Navigate to Apps > Settings > Storage.

  2. Touch SD card.

  3. To remove your SD card safely, touch Unmount.

  4. The word Unmounted will appear under SD card.

  5. Remove the microSD card from your device.
