Use and manage trackers in Samsung Health

The steps counter opened up in Samsung Health

Understanding and recording fitness information can be confusing. What is a calorie, anyway? No worries, Samsung Health can keep track of everything for you. It displays different exercise trackers, programs, and other health measurements. Your enabled trackers will appear on the app's Home tab, where they can be viewed and adjusted.

Note: Available screens may vary by wireless service provider or software version. Samsung Health is intended for fitness and informational purposes only and is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions, or in the cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease.

Add or remove trackers

On your phone, navigate to and open Samsung Health. On the Home tab, swipe to and tap Manage items. From here, you can add, remove, and rearrange trackers. To rearrange them, touch and hold the one you want to move, and then drag to it where you want. You can also rearrange trackers by touching and holding your desired tracker on the Home tab.

To remove or add a tracker, tap either the red Minus or the green Plus in the upper right corner of the tracker. You can always add removed trackers back later.

Here's a list of all available trackers:

  • Active time: View your walking and running times, calories burned, and distance in one easy, convenient location.

  • Exercise: This tracker shows data from the different workouts you have done.

  • Food: See the types of food you've eaten and how many calories you've consumed.

  • Sleep: Make sure you are getting the right amount of sleep.

  • Weight or Weight management: Keep track of how much weight you want to lose or gain.

  • Stress: Monitor your stress level and do breathing exercises.

  • Blood glucose or Blood pressure: Keep your levels in check so you can be healthy.

  • Water or Caffeine: View and adjust how much water or caffeine you've consumed for the day.

  • Floors: Track the number of "floors" you've climbed each day based on elevation gains.

Use trackers

Once you've added or adjusted your trackers, you can view them on the Home tab any time. That way, you'll know all your numbers with just a glance.

On the Home tab, swipe up or down to see your current trackers. Each tracker will show a small preview of your recent workout or health data.

To view more information and settings for a tracker, tap the tracker itself. Now you'll be able to access all of its features, such as setting a target for a workout. You may also manually add data to the trackers.
