Format a Memory Card on Your Galaxy Book

When your memory card becomes full or corrupted, simply resolve the problem by formatting it. You'll have more than enough room afterwards. Just remember to back up any data that you would like to hang on too.

Formatting a Memory Card

Formatting a memory card will erase all data. Back up all personal data before performing the steps below.

  1. Select File Explorer on the taskbar.

  2. On the system directory on the left, right-click the memory card you want to format, and then select Format.

  3. Select Start.

  4. Select OK to confirm formatting the disk.

    To exit formatting, touch Cancel.

  5. Select OK to confirm the Format complete.

  6. Your memory card has been formatted and it is ready for use.
