Using Samsung Recovery on the AIO

Using Samsung Recovery, you can restore the computer to a previously backed up point. You can also restore the computer to factory default settings. Back up important data regularly before a problem occurs with the computer.

Backing Up the Current System

  1. Navigate to Start > Samsung > Samsung Recovery.    

  2. Select New backup.    

  3. Select the drive you want to save the backup to and then select Backup.  

  4. To create the backup, select Yes.    

Recovering After a Backup

Recovering the computer erases the data or apps saved after a backup point.

  1. Navigate to Start > Samsung > Samsung Recovery.    

  2. Select the desired back-up image and then select Recover.    

  3. To recover the back-up point, select OK.    

Resetting to Factory Defaults

Make sure to back up any important data before resetting the AIO.

  1. Navigate to Start > Samsung > Samsung Recovery.

  2. Select Factory Image and then select Recover.

  3. Select Recover again.

  4. Select OK to begin resetting your AIO. You will need to set up the computer again when the process is complete.
