Using Screen Write on Your Galaxy Book

You can capture the entire screen and write or draw on the screenshot with different writing tools.

Screen Write Features

Screen write allows you to capture a screenshot and then write notes on the screenshot. The following editing tools are provided:

From left to right:

  • Pen: Draw on the screenshot.

  • Eraser: Erase the writing or drawing on the screenshot.

  • Undo: Undo the last action.

  • Redo: Redo the last action that was undone.

  • From left to right:

    • Extract text: Identify and extract text from the selected content.

    • Crop: Crop the captured screen.

    • Share: Choose a sharing method to share your content.

    • Save: Save the content to the Gallery app.

Using Screen Write

  1. Hold the S Pen near the screen so that the pointer appears.

  2. Press the S Pen button to open Air Command.

    Alternatively, you can navigate to Start > Samsung > Air Command.

  3. Select Screen Write.

  4. The screen will be captured. Select the desired writing utensil. For this example, select Pen.

    The available utensils are pencil, pen, highlighter, and eraser.

  5. To adjust the Pen settings, select Pen again.

  6. You can adjust the line thickness and ink color. 

  7. You can now write or draw on the screenshot.

  8. When you are finished, select Save.
