Clean the Nozzles in Your Dishwasher
If dishes just aren't getting as clean as they used to, there's a good chance the nozzles in your DW80M2020 dishwasher need to be cleaned. Running water and some light scrubbing should do the trick. Afterwards, give the nozzles a spin to make sure they are placed properly.
Once they're removed, the dishwasher nozzles will all be cleaned the same way. Rinse them in running water and give them a quick scrub. The key is to make sure none of the little holes in the nozzles are clogged.
Cleaning the Lower Nozzle
To clean the lower nozzle, remove the lower rack, pull the nozzle up and out, and rinse it thoroughly under running water. Pop it back into place, put the lower rack back into position, and then close the door. Check out Cleaning the Lower Nozzle for more detailed instructions.
Cleaning the Middle Nozzle
To clean the middle nozzle, remove the upper rack, and then loosen and remove the nut on the nozzle. Inspect the nozzle for clogs and thoroughly rinse it under running water. When finished, place the nozzle back into position, tighten the nut, and put the upper rack back into the dishwasher. For more detailed info, go take a look at Cleaning the Middle Nozzle.
Cleaning the Upper Nozzle
To clean the upper nozzle, unfasten and then remove the nozzle cap by turning it counterclockwise. Inspect the nozzle and rinse thoroughly under running water. After that, fasten the cap back into place, by turning it clockwise. You can learn more on this topic by visiting Cleaning the Upper Nozzle.
