Set Up The Frame TV for the First Time

After you've mounted your Frame TV, it needs to be set up. Complete these four steps so you can start watching TV or viewing beautiful works of art.

Before you begin, make sure to connect all of your external devices to the One Connect Box, and then connect the Box to your TV.

1. Pair the OneRemote

When you turn on The Frame for the first time, the OneRemote pairs automatically. If for some reason it doesn't pair automatically, point the remote at the screen, and then press and hold Return and Play/Pause simultaneously.

2. Select Your Language

  1. Using the directional pad on your OneRemote, select your preferred language.

  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up external devices to be controlled by your OneRemote.

3. Select Your Network

Wireless Connection

  1. Select your wireless network.

  2. If the network is secure, enter the password and then select Done.

  3. The Frame will attempt to connect to your network and access the Samsung servers.

    • If there is no issue with the network connection, you will see the above screen:

    • If there is a Network connection issue, the Network Status window will appear.

    • If you can't resolve your network issue, please Contact Us.

  4. Review the Smart Hub Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Select I Agree to all and then select OK.

    If you do not consent to the Terms, Conditions, & Privacy Policy you will not be able to use apps and some of the Smart Features on The Frame. To continue the setup, proceed to the steps under Completing the Setup.

  5. To continue, proceed to the steps under "Completing The Setup."

Wired Connection

  1. Connect an ethernet cable from your router to the One Connect Box.

  2. The Frame will attempt to connect to your network and access the Samsung servers.

    • If there is no issue with the network connection, you will see "Success, Your TV is connected to the Internet."

    • If there is a network connection issue, the Network Status window will appear.

    • If you can't resolve your network issue, please Contact Us.

  3. Review the Smart Hub Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Select I Agree to all and then select OK.

4. Completing The Setup

  1. Follow the on-screen instructions to sign into or create a Samsung Account.

    If you do not wish to create or sign into your Samsung account, select the arrow in the upper right hand corner of the screen to skip this section.

  2. Enter your ZIP code and then select Next.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the remote test and then select Next.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to Test switching The Frame to Art Mode and then select Next.

  5. To complete the setup, select Browse Art or Watch TV.
