Disable Auto Rotate on Galaxy S6
When switching between viewing a panoramic photo or reading a listicle, the S6 has a built-in feature that automatically rotates your screen to adjust to your needs. Auto Rotate uses an internal sensor to detect which way your phone is rotating and then adjusts your screen accordingly. If you're using your S6 lying down on the sofa on a lazy Sunday afternoon, turn off Auto Rotate to lock your screen in portrait mode.
The available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider and software version.
