Using the Different Camera Modes on Your Galaxy S6 Active

The abundant and revoluationary built-in camera features of your S6 Active lets you snap a picture of that perfect view or record a moment you want to relive, beautifully and effortlessly. Learn how to Access Your Camera in different ways so you'll never miss a beat.

Information on Camera Modes

  1. Navigate to Apps > Camera.   

  2. To access the Camera Modes, swipe to the right.

  3. To see more information on the modes, touch More Options.

  5. To see more modes, swipe up.

    • Auto: Take the best possible picture by setting the device to adjust the exposure and color of pictures automatically.

    • Pro: Adjust the exposure value, shutter speed, ISO sensitivity, white balance, focal length, and color tone manually while taking pictures.

    • Panorama: Create a panorama by taking consecutive pictures in either a horizontal or vertical direction.

    • Selective focus: Change the focus of pictures after they have been taken. You can focus on subjects near to the camera, far away from the camera, or both.

    • Slow motion: Record videos at a high frame rate for viewing in slow motion. You can play a specific section of each video in slow motion after recording it.

    • Fast motion: Record videos for viewing in fast motion. You can play a specific section of each video in fast motion after recording it.

    • Virtual shot: Create multi-directional pictures of objects.

  6. Press the Back key.

  7. Select the desired camera mode.

Arranging the Camera Modes

  1. Navigate to Apps > Camera.   

  2. To access available camera modes, swipe right.

  3. To see more information on the modes, touch More Options.

  4. Touch Edit.

  5. Touch and hold the mode you want to move.

  6. Drag the mode to the desired location and then release.
