Customize the Home Screens on Your Galaxy Tab S3 (Verizon)
Customize and organize your Home screens by adding app shortcuts, widgets, and folders. Take your customization one step further by changing the wallpaper!
The available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider and software version.
Manage Home Screens
Add a screen: Swipe left until you reach the end and then touch Add.
Remove a screen: Touch and hold the screen you want to remove, and then drag it to Remove.
Set a screen as the main Home screen: Touch Main Home screen. The selected screen is displayed when you press the Home key.
Change the order of screens: Touch and hold the screen you want to move, and then drag it to a desired position.
From any Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
Use the following options to manage screens:
Adding a Shortcut to a Home Screen
From the Home screen, touch Apps.
Touch and hold an app shortcut, and then drag it to a Home screen.
Removing a Shortcut from a Home Screen
Touch and hold the app shortcut you want to remove.
Drag it to Remove shortcut and then release it.
Removing a shortcut does not delete the app, it just removes the shortcut from the Home screen.
Adding a Widget to a Home Screen
Swipe to the Home screen you want to add a widget to, and then touch and hold an empty space of the Home screen.
Touch and hold the desired widget and then drag it to the desired position.
The following options may be available (depending on the widget):
Resize: If the widget can be resized, it will have a blue line along the edges. Simply touch and drag the blue circles to lengthen or shorten the widget.
Color: Some widgets can have different colors set. Select the color that best matches your theme or background!
Transparency: Increase the widgets transparency if you want it to be less eye-popping and to make it blend in with your wallpaper.
Removing a Widget from a Home Screen
From the Home screen, touch and hold the widget you want to remove.
Drag the widget to Remove and then release it.
Removing a widget does not delete the widget, it just removes the widget from the Home screen.
Adding a Folder to a Home Screen
From the Home screen, touch and hold an app shortcut.
Drag the shortcut on top of another app shortcut that you want to add to the folder, and then release.
Enter a folder name.
To select a color of the folder, touch the Palette.
To exit the folder, touch anywhere outside the folder.
Removing a Folder from a Home Screen
Touch and hold the folder you want to remove.
Drag the folder to Delete and then release it.
To confirm, touch DELETE.
