Use the AutoRelease Feature on Your Dishwasher

AutoRelease Dry is designed to improve drying performance by automatically opening the door during the last 5 to 15 minutes of the cycle. The door opens when the temperature has fallen below 122°F. An internal fan is activated to protect your counter top from moisture.

This setting defaults to on because it helps improve drying performance. However, the setting can be turned off if desired. See below for steps on how to do so.

Adjusting the AutoRelease Dry Setting

  1. Touch POWER to turn on the dishwasher.

  2. To toggle the AutoRelease Dry setting on or off, touch and hold Lower and Hi-Temp Wash until A1 or A0 appears on the display.

    • If A0 appears, AutoRelease Dry is disabled (not recommended).

    • If A1 appears, AutoRelease Dry is enabled (the recommended default).

    • Repeat this step if needed to reach your desired option.

  3. To save your settings, touch POWER. The dishwasher will power off.
