Having Trouble?

There is no sound or the sound is low at max volume:

  • Check the volume control of the device connected to The Frame.

The picture is good but there is no sound:

  • If you are using an external device, check the device's audio output option (Settings > Sound > Sound Output).

  • To listen to the sound from a computer, connect an external speaker to the computer's audio output connector.

  • Reboot the connected device by disconnecting and reconnecting the device's power cable.

No sound is heard:

  • Check to see if the Digital Output Audio Format is set to Dolby Digital Plus. If you are using a receiver that does not support Dolby Digital Plus, you will not hear any sound. Change the format (Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format).

The speakers are making a weird sound:

  • Make sure that the audio cable is connected to the correct audio output connector on the external device.

  • For antenna or cable connections, check the signal information.

  • Run a Sound Test (Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Start Sound Test).

Have you tried running a Sound Test to narrow down the cause of your problem?
