If you just bought something from the Chef Collection, it means you've got a top-of-the-line appliance that any chef would envy. To go along with these appliances, there is also a Chef Collection app. It gives you recipes to try out, as well as informational videos. General FAQs about the Chef Collection app
Can my phone use the Chef Collection app?
The current version of Chef Collection can only be used on Android phones or tablets at least 4.2 or higher.
I am new to cooking. What are the best types of recipes for me?
If you don’t have the time or skills to create complex recipes, then Everyday Meals is probably the best section for you. These recipes can usually be prepared in under an hour. They also include different lifestyle options like gluten-free, paleo, vegetarian, and vegan. Most of the ingredients will be already in your pantry or refrigerator.
Can I use the Chef Collection app offline?
If your phone or tablet is offline, you won’t be able to play any Chef Collection videos because they require a Wi-Fi connection. However, you can still view Chef Collection articles and recipes.
Do I have to agree to the license agreement after I upgrade the app?
Yes, you’re still a legal user. The app considers your initial agreement as binding.
How often does the content change on Chef Collection?
The content on Chef Collection is refreshed every two weeks.
The recipe I want is no longer on the app. Where can I find it?
If you find a recipe or video that you want to come back to, be sure to Favorite it immediately, so it will be a lot easier to find in the future. To save a recipe or video as a Favorite, open the recipe or video you want to save, and touch the heart symbol at the top right of the screen.
Why are my favorites gone after updating the app?
Sometimes, recipes and videos that are associated with a particular chef will no longer be available after an upgrade. If you have a recipe that is chef-specific, we suggest you print it out before upgrading Chef Collection.
