View network traffic on Connect Home
Remember that big storm when your internet completely disconnected? Network speed and connection can fluctuate depending on the number of devices connected, how much data is being used, and even the weather. With Samsung Connect Home, you can check network traffic directly from the SmartThings app.
Check your network traffic
Maybe you have too many phones connected to the same Connect Home. You can find out what might be causing the network traffic by checking your network traffic.
On your phone, navigate to and open the SmartThings app. Then, tap Menu (the three horizontal lines), and tap the Location drop-down menu to find the Location where the Connect Home is saved. Tap Devices, then select your Connect Home from the list of devices, and then tap Network traffic. You will see a graph that shows the current uploads and downloads in real time. From there, you can see what is causing the problem.
If needed, you can manage and adjust your Connect Home's network settings to make things run more smoothly.
