Uninstall Google Play Store Apps from the Chromebook Pro

You can uninstall any unwanted apps to free up storage on your Chromebook Pro.

Uninstall from the Play Store

  1. To uninstall an app, select the Google Play Store icon on the shelf.

  2. Select the Menu icon next to the search bar.

  3. Select My apps & games.

  4. Navigate to and select the app you want to uninstall. For this example, select Samsung Mobile Print.

  5. Select UNINSTALL.

  6. Select Ok.

Uninstall from the Launcher

Apps offer functionality that you would expect from desktop programs. You can download and install Chrome OS apps from the Chrome Web Store.

  1. To uninstall an app, open the Launcher.

  2. Select All Apps.

  3. Navigate to and right click the app you want to uninstall. For this example, select Samsung Cloud Print.

  4. Select Uninstall.
