Manage Lock Screen Notifications on Galaxy J3 and J7 2018
We know you're busy. Sometimes you don't have time to unlock your phone to open and dismiss all those notifications. The good news is all it takes to manage your notifications is a quick swipe! With the Oreo update, you can also snooze or change the opacity of notifications on the lock screen.
Available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider and software version.
Lock Screen Notifications
You can open or dismiss notifications right from the lock screen of your phone. Because, let’s be honest, some notifications are just meant to be dismissed. To dismiss a notification from the lock screen, swipe the notification to the left or right. To open a notification from the lock screen, touch the desired notification. Swipe on the screen to unlock the lock screen.
Note: If you have a screen lock set up, you will need to enter your credentials to view the notification.
Just like your alarm clock at 6 a.m., hit "snooze" on your notifications. To snooze a notification from the Lock screen, swipe the desired notification slightly to the left or right. If you swipe too fast or too far, you might miss the icons. Touch Snooze notification, select the desired time to snooze, and then touch DONE. Ahh, peace and quiet.
