Turn Off Battery Life Extender on your Samsung Notebook
Whether you’re writing a research paper or playing an intense game, you count on your PC’s battery to last. Battery Life Extender is available on PCs, tablets, and Notebooks and, just like its name, extends the life of your battery. To achieve this, your device will limit the maximum battery charge level to 85%. This feature can be turned off if you want to be able to charge your device’s battery up to 100%.
Windows must be installed on your Samsung device to use Battery Life Extender.
Turn Off Battery Life Extender
You can turn the Battery Life Extender feature off at any time. Open All Settings from the Action Center. From the new Settings window, you can search directly for Battery Life Extender; or, you can select Extras and then Galaxy Settings. Select Battery Life Extender and adjust the slider to Off to be able to charge your battery up to 100%. Don’t forget that while you can now charge up to 100%, you may also be shortening your battery’s lifespan.
Note: The Battery Life Extender feature is not available on all Samsung PCs, tablets, and Notebooks.
