Use one handed mode on your Galaxy phone

One-handed mode will temporarily scale down your Galaxy phone’s display size for simpler control when using one hand. This feature makes using your device more convenient if you prefer to navigate your screen, settings, and apps with one hand or one finger, such as your thumb.

Turn on One-handed mode

While in One-handed mode, your phone’s display will shrink, making it easier to control.

Navigate to and open Settings, then tap Advanced features, and then tap One-handed mode.
Tap the switch at the top of the screen to enable the feature, and then review the information in the pop-up. Some features will not be usable while in One-handed mode. Tap OK to proceed.
Next, select Gesture or Button as your preferred method to reduce the display size. You can always navigate back to this screen if you change your mind later.
Scale down the display using your selected method. You can move the smaller display around by tapping the arrow icon, or by dragging the gray bar at the top.
If your screen turns off or if you lock your phone, the display will revert to its original size. Simply use the Gesture or Button method to scale down the display again.
To turn off One-handed mode, navigate back to the One-handed mode settings page, and then tap the switch at the top.
