2

Unplug the docking station and clean the charging pins.

Unplug the docking station and clean the charging pins on both the docking station and the Jet Bot with a dry cloth.

3

Plug the docking station into a working outlet and check its location.

If you are not sure if your outlet is working, test the outlet with something else, like a lamp.

Once you're sure you have a working outlet, plug the docking station back in and make sure it's nice and level so the Jet Bot can easily get on it without tilting or rocking it. Make sure the docking station meets all the following guidelines:

  • A location that provides easy access.
  • A spot with a flat, level surface and smooth wall. If needed, adjust the docking station slightly away from the wall to ensure its base is level with the floor, or relocate it to a more suitable wall section.
  • Avoid positioning the docking station on dark-colored flooring.
  • On wooden floors, align the docking station with the floor grain.
  • Ensure there's at least 1.6 feet of space on either side of the docking station and 3.3 feet of clear space in front of it.
4

Turn on the Jet Bot and place it on the docking station.

Note: The vacuum’s LED will flash red, orange, and yellow when it is charging. The LED will turn green when charging is complete.

Turn on the power switch, and then press the Start/Stop button on the top of the vacuum until it turns on. (Do not use the remote.)

  • If the vacuum turns on, place it in front of the docking station, command it to recharge by pressing the Charging button, and then observe it as it docks.

    • If the docking station wobbles or moves while the Jet Bot is trying to get on it, the docking station is not level.
    • If the Jet Bot repeatedly goes on and off the docking station and will not stay, the charging pins are not connected. Check that the docking station is level and the charging pins are clean.
    • If the vacuum travels away from the docking station and does not immediately return, either the docking station does not have power, or the vacuum was given the wrong command.

  • If the vacuum will not turn on, manually place it on the docking station, making sure the charging pins are aligned and touching, and wait five minutes. Then, turn the power switch off and on, and press the Start/Stop button again.
