Use a single Galaxy bud with your phone
If you have you lost or misplaced one of your Samsung earbuds, like the Galaxy Buds2, or one of your Gear IconX earbuds, you can still enjoy your music until you find the missing earbud. Just use your single earbud with the phone that both earbuds were previously paired to.

Important
While using a single earbud, you will not be able to update the buds' software.

- You can still connect the remaining Galaxy Bud series earbud to a new phone the exact same way you would connect both using the Galaxy Wearable app.
- When using a single earbud, the sound will automatically switch from stereo to mono.
- If you've lost one of your earbuds, you can find the latest pair of Galaxy Buds on the Samsung website. A single replacement earbud cannot be purchased.

- If one earbud will not charge after troubleshooting power issues, and the earbuds, charger, or wall adapter are not damaged, service is required. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG to request service.

When using a single Gear IconX earbud with the phone it was previously paired with, some features may be unavailable. Additionally, some songs may not play unless they are transferred through the Galaxy Wearable app.
- Unfortunately, you cannot connect a single earbud with a new phone. IconX earbuds share and sync their pairing information between each other and the phone they are paired with. - If you're using a single Gear IconX earbud, it may be necessary to check if it is set as the main earbud. The right earbud is set as the main earbud by default.
- If a lost or misplaced earbud was set as your main exercise earbud, you can switch the settings to the remaining earbud instead.
