I have adhd so the health coach aspect is incredible for accountability and gamification at meeting my goals. I honestly love it. The only draw back is the battery life, because the watch does so much it uses a lot of power which mean is needs a good charge every day or 2 smaller charges, I've come from a old galaxy watch (about 7 years old) which I also loved but the charging stand for that was so much better than the new flat charges which isn't usb. It doesn't affect the use of the watch though and the watch and it's features are amazing.

Functionality still good. However, the standard strap on the new Watch 9 as compared to Watch 7 is far inferior in terms of look and quality. Are Samsung trying to save money at the customers expense? The small / medium strap is also smaller and I am nearly on the last hole. In addition, I am noticing no improvement in battery life on each new Galaxy watch, including the Watch 9. When are Sumsung going to introduce solar power, which I think is a major aspect nowadays. Garmin win on this!

To be honest, the experience was just “meh” for me. The biggest issue was the battery life. I found it too short for my liking because I had to charge the watch almost every day. I also felt that the watch was a bit too big for my wrist and preferred something more compact. The design is another area that didn’t really suit my personal preference. I usually prefer watches with a round design, so the shape of the Watch9 felt a little odd to me. This is purely based on my personal preference, and I’m sure others may feel differently, but for me, the design didn’t really appeal to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this watch. I bought the watch 9 40mm after having a watch 6 for a couple of years. The battery on the watch 6 was not very good and I would struggle to get through the day and evening without having to go onto power saving. I went to bed last night after wearing the watch 9 for 17 hours and saw that I still had 72 percent battery. Also it is nice and flat on my wrist and feels comfortable to wear. The display is colourful and clear. The only downside is my older chargers do not work with the watch 9 and it is hard to get hold of the new chargers at the moment.

I am really enjoying this watch. I've never owned a smart watch before so I can't compare it to others or the Watch 9. I love how much it can be personalized whether it is the display or for health monitoring. The sleep information is very insightful and I really like testing the ECG. It seems to keep accurate data for heart rate and monitoring. I haven't set up blood pressure yet but will. I was worried I might be overwhelmed with all the function but dins them easy to use. I think this watch is perfect for someone wanting to get insights on their daily health and habits.

Being a samsung user since samsung corby i believe this is probably my worst samsung purchase. Its a beautiful watch to wear with all the latest features and technology but the battery is very very poor. Samsung claims 40 hours of battery life but it doesnt even work for 20 hours after full charge and that to without "Always on" mode. I would have rather preferred not buying and investing in such a horrible time piece. Very very disappointed. Samsung being a loyal customer for past 17 years i would appreciate if i could get a free upgrade or a refund and not exchange.

I noticed instantly the brighter colours ,whick looks much nicer than on my old watch, the screen is also perfect and easy to read in direct sunlight. After a week i am happy with the new watch 9. I like the lighter weight and feel. It seems like there have been improvements to the speaker and microphone and they are quite usable for phone calls now. So far battery life is ok but could be better. I am using it for running so I like how it synchs with strava. I do miss the rotating bezel and centre button, but i can live without those. And for some reason, the Tomcat watch faces no longer supports customisable complications. Very disappointing since I have been using it for years!

I bought this to be able to track health. Pleasantly surprised. Very comfortable. The display is amazing in full sun. Battery is pretty good considering always on display.. solid 1.5 to 2 days. Durability remains to be seen.. but it looks like shouldn't be a problem. I love all the watch faces you can choose from, but even then how even the one you end up choosing you can customize the layout. Accuracy heartbeat, steps, mileage body mass index etc all seem to be pretty much spot on. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Bought this as my Watch 4 was getting old. This watch is very fast and the battery life is excellent. I can go more than 24 hours with a 70% charge and the new charging base charges very fast. The new display is bright and crisp. I give only 4 stars because the standard watch band that the device comes with doesn't tuck under the other strap as the watch 4 band did and it keeps getting caught while i move my arm around making the band slightly uncomfortable. The band holder loops also like to slide off, making the extra length flop around. Replacement bands are too expensive for what they are from Samsung so I will have to go to a third part retailer to find one with a better price. I'd also point out that the buttons are a bit harder to press than previous models.

Happy I waited for the Watch9 to replace my Watch4. It's noticeably faster, more intuitive, has a few more features and I love the aesthetic of the watch - it's stylish. I also like the selection of strap types. I got the silicone strap and fabric strap. The only thing is I wish the battery lasted longer which I know the Ultra 2 exceeds the Watch9 in this category but I did not want the Ultra 2. Regardless, the Watch9 is well worth it as an upgrade or first purchase. I have a Galaxy S25 Ultra and it pairs well.

The screen is bright enough to read in direct sunlight, it's light on the wrist, and it handles gym sessions and rain without issue. Health tracking is comprehensive sleep, heart rate, ECG, fitness scores and there's no subscription fee, which I appreciate. Sleep tracking is the feature I use most. It breaks the night into deep, light and REM stages, gives you a sleep score each morning, and tracks blood oxygen and snoring while you're out. The sleep coaching programme is a nice touch it sets small weekly targets rather than just showing you numbers. It's comfortable enough to wear overnight, which not every smartwatch manages. Downside: battery is a daily charge, and some features only work with a Samsung phone.

The detection on workouts is better, the screen has better clarity and sensitivity, and the bezel around the face protects the screen as well. The battery is still less than what I would have hoped for, only about 36 hours and that's with most features turned off or to the minimum levels. Straps are good, will need to change them most likely due to sensitive skin, but comfortable as is.

Decided to upgrade from the galaxy watch this year. Been using it faithfully for about 4 and a 1/2 years without problems. This year, I decided to get the galaxy watch 9. Wow, what an improvement I enjoy. Having the ability to run apps on the watch, being able to see my health tracking and sleep information is helpful. When i'm waking up, I do wish that the battery life was a bit better, but I feel like I'll be able to iron that out with some setting changes as I learn more of what the watch does. It feels like a solid device in hand with an aluminum body. The straps feel comfortable and soft, but are a bit tighter, then the bands I was using on the original watch. Being able to clearly read and see what's on my screen in the bright light it's great as I do a lot of work outside.

Unboxing it i was unsure if I was going to keep it. The strap doesn't come attached to the watch itself which I wasn't expecting and I thought it was going to be a faff. The strap was easy to fit, albeit I put it the wrong way round to start with but it's easy to unclip. First impressions the watch looks nice, it isn't too heavy on the wrist. Setting up and pairing to my S25 FE was painless. There sre plenty of options to customise the watch through the Wearables app. Not sure how the battery will fair compared to my old watch, early indications are it's not as good but it might be I have a lot of things running in the background which I can turn off

It's extremely light and comfortable to wear due to the weight and materials used for the strap. It feels very well made and the screen and buttons are very responsive. So far in the two weeks of owning it, I've found the battery life very good. Adding to that I feel I must say, I don't wear it during the night to monitor my sleep. Everything I've tried with the watch so far appears to be quite accurate including Blood Oxygen etc. One down side, and I knew it would be, due to my Tattoos, is the way it doesn't record pulse etc. That said, my previous smart watch was the series 1 and lasted very well, only needing updating because of upgrades being difficult. So fingers crossed for the durability to be the same if not better.

The first time I put the watch on, I was very surprised by how flush it sat against my wrist. I was also very surprised by how quickly I was able to set it up and have all of the new health features put into place right off the bat. So far, the battery life seems like it's going for a good amount of time. I've had it running for about 24 hours, and the battery is still going strong. Time will tell, no pun intended, how long the battery will actually last based on usage and health features.

It's a nice watch with a curated design, great features, and solid connectivity. However, when it comes to the battery, you need to know what you're getting into. With the bundled cable and an original Samsung charger, the best I could achieve is 1 hour and 40 minutes for a full charge. That is ridiculously slow considering the battery barely lasts 24 hours! Because it's supposed to handle continuous tracking like sleep monitoring, it becomes a major hassle to plan your day around charging downtime. Coming from the Watch Fit 2 - which lasted 3–4 days and recharged in about 30 minutes - I expected a flagship Watch 9 to perform at least comparably. Instead, this higher-end device is roughly four times slower to charge than a lower-end model. If you rely on round-the-clock tracking, think twice before buying.

I'm a long-time smartwatch user and over the years, I've had all mainstream brands. The Samsung Watch 9's ease of use, UI, and the app top all brands I've used - the 40-mm is just right for my small wrist, the AMOLED display is large and bright. The watch offers the widest selection of functions possible for health and sports, including BP, Vo2max, ECG, and much more. However... the battery issue remains - I had to turn off all connections, continuous HR to make it last 36 hours. I cannot imagine it lasting a full day of hiking with GPS on. It is just something you have to get to love and make your peace with... For the dev team: add pickleball and general weight training as categories under sports. The watch has been great so far, it's comfortable to sleep in, I've been using it to track my sleep and steps and my heart rate which has been good. The battery life could be better I would say, because of the better snapdragon chip it drains battery faster but it hasn't been the worst thing for me it's still good and will most likely last you the entire day. Its accurate the display is fast and responsive better then last Gen. The durability has not given me any issue either.

I got this just under a month ago and the forst thing that stood out to me was how comfortable it was to wear this watch even to sleep. I found myself almost forgetting that i had this watch on my arm even after i got a case for it. I love how responsive and snappy the galaxy watches have got especially coming from the watch 4. Still not the biggest fan of the "squircle" design but I guess, the overall watch experience makes up for it.

I went to store to check out replacement for my current watch. When i wore Galaxy Watch9, it felt extremely comfortable and durable. Display seemed bigger even though it is same size as my current 44mm watch. Battery lasts longer. GPS accuracy is much better than before. The options and quality you get for the price is unmatched. I liked the watch so much thag I ordered two watches and bands. One for my wife and the other for myself.

The display is brightly lit as well so there's no worries for glare. The body of the watch is very sturdy and reliable. Did a comparison between my fitbit and watch and accuracy was rather close. Only qualm about the watch is its battery life. Needs to be charged a couple of times a week. Overall still a solid watch.

Upgraded from an older smartwatch, and the Galaxy Watch9 is a huge step up. The screen is super bright even under direct sunlight, and navigating through apps is ridiculously smooth. The soft wristband was comfortable to wear all day even in Singapore's warm and humid environment. In terms of battery life, it is possible to last 2 days with certain features switched off. This was a problem for me because using the new sleep tracking function would require it to be worn. Thankfully, it charges sufficiently in the time I take to shower.

Features like the Energy Score and personalized Sleep Coaching actually give practical daily advice rather than just throwing numbers at you. Having FDA-approved Sleep Apnea detection on a standard smartwatch is a huge plus for peace of mind. What is very comfortable and screen is bright. Not heavy either. I've been tracking my sleep as well as my oxygen level as it drops due to my health condition. Overall a great device and does exactly what it's designed to do. There's so many features I still haven't dived into but i do like the ease of paying from your wrist.
