The watch features are a big improvement from the previous models. The interface is smooth and the watch is considerably slimmer than other digital watches but it’s still a bit too bulky on my wrist. The battery also claims to last almost 30 hours and I’m going to test that out! Very excited to try out the new running coach and antioxidant features!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I also tried the Samsung Galaxy Watch9 for a few days, mainly using it for step counting and checking my heart rate. To be honest, the experience was just “meh” for me. The biggest issue was the battery life. I found it too short for my liking because I had to charge the watch almost every day. I also felt that the watch was a bit too big for my wrist and preferred something more compact. The design is another area that didn’t really suit my personal preference. I usually prefer watches with a round design, so the shape of the Watch9 felt a little odd to me. This is purely based on my personal preference, and I’m sure others may feel differently, but for me, the design didn’t really appeal to me.

I am really enjoying this watch. I've never owned a smart watch before so I can't compare it to others or the Watch 9. I love how much it can be personalized whether it is the display or for health monitoring. The sleep information is very insightful and I really like testing the ECG. It seems to keep accurate data for heart rate and monitoring. I haven't set up blood pressure yet but will. I was worried I might be overwhelmed with all the function but dins them easy to use. I think this watch is perfect for someone wanting to get insights on their daily health and habits.

Being a samsung user since samsung corby i believe this is probably my worst samsung purchase. Its a beautiful watch to wear with all the latest features and technology but the battery is very very poor. Samsung claims 40 hours of battery life but it doesnt even work for 20 hours after full charge and that to without "Always on" mode. I would have rather preferred not buying and investing in such a horrible time piece. Very very disappointed. Samsung being a loyal customer for past 17 years i would appreciate if i could get a free upgrade or a refund and not exchange.

Upgraded from the Watch 8 44mm to the Watch 9 44mm (Bluetooth), and the daily refinements are immediately noticeable. The biggest win is the overall responsiveness. Navigating around, opening apps, and pulling up notifications feel much snappier with zero stutter. The new One UI Watch update makes morning briefings, sleep stats, and Energy Scores pop up instantly without the slight delay I used to get on the 8. Battery life also has a slight edge over the Watch 8. After a week i am happy with the new watch 9. I like the lighter weight and feel. It seems like there have been improvements to the speaker and microphone and they are quite usable for phone calls now. So far battery life is ok but could be better. I am using it for running so I like how it synchs with strava. I do miss the rotating bezel and centre button, but i can live without those. And for some reason, the Tomcat watch faces no longer supports customisable complications. Very disappointing since I have been using it for years!

I bought this to be able to track health. Pleasantly surprised. Very comfortable. The display is amazing in full sun. Battery is pretty good considering always on display.. solid 1.5 to 2 days. Durability remains to be seen.. but it looks like shouldn't be a problem. I love all the watch faces you can choose from, but even then how even the one you end up choosing you can customize the layout. Accuracy heartbeat, steps, mileage body mass index etc all seem to be pretty much spot on. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Bought this as my Watch 4 was getting old. This watch is very fast and the battery life is excellent. I can go more than 24 hours with a 70% charge and the new charging base charges very fast. The new display is bright and crisp. I give only 4 stars because the standard watch band that the device comes with doesn't tuck under the other strap as the watch 4 band did and it keeps getting caught while i move my arm around making the band slightly uncomfortable. The band holder loops also like to slide off, making the extra length flop around. Replacement bands are too expensive for what they are from Samsung so I will have to go to a third part retailer to find one with a better price. I'd also point out that the buttons are a bit harder to press than previous models.

Two main issues that were not clear when purchasing the watch. Firstly, the 'graphite' colour is significantly darker than the Watch 8. For people who have colour matched accessories this may pose an issue. The bigger issue by far is the Watch 9 silently broke compatibility with all third party chargers and power-sharing charging from a Galaxy smartphone. The only option now is the included puck. For me personally this has generated a lot of e-waste. I had docking stations that would charge my phone/earbuds/watch (at home/work/travel). Now all have lost their functionality and will need replaced when some new 3-in-one charger comes along. The charging issue alone makes it hard for me to recommend this device to any existing users, as it may break their current ecosystem.

Happy I waited for the Watch9 to replace my Watch4. It's noticeably faster, more intuitive, has a few more features and I love the aesthetic of the watch - it's stylish. I also like the selection of strap types. I got the silicone strap and fabric strap. The only thing is I wish the battery lasted longer which I know the Ultra 2 exceeds the Watch9 in this category but I did not want the Ultra 2. Regardless, the Watch9 is well worth it as an upgrade or first purchase. I have a Galaxy S25 Ultra and it pairs well.

Decided to upgrade from the galaxy watch this year. Been using it faithfully for about 4 and a 1/2 years without problems. This year, I decided to get the galaxy watch 9. Wow, what an improvement I enjoy. Having the ability to run apps on the watch, being able to see my health tracking and sleep information is helpful. When i'm waking up, I do wish that the battery life was a bit better, but I feel like I'll be able to iron that out with some setting changes as I learn more of what the watch does. It feels like a solid device in hand with an aluminum body. The straps feel comfortable and soft, but are a bit tighter, then the bands I was using on the original watch. Being able to clearly read and see what's on my screen in the bright light it's great as I do a lot of work outside.

The first time I put the watch on, I was very surprised by how flush it sat against my wrist. I was also very surprised by how quickly I was able to set it up and have all of the new health features put into place right off the bat. So far, the battery life seems like it's going for a good amount of time. I've had it running for about 24 hours, and the battery is still going strong. Time will tell, no pun intended, how long the battery will actually last based on usage and health features.

I'm a long-time smartwatch user and over the years, I've had all mainstream brands. The Samsung Watch 9's ease of use, UI, and the app top all brands I've used - the 40-mm is just right for my small wrist, the AMOLED display is large and bright. The watch offers the widest selection of functions possible for health and sports, including BP, Vo2max, ECG, and much more. However... the battery issue remains - I had to turn off all connections, continuous HR to make it last 36 hours. I cannot imagine it lasting a full day of hiking with GPS on. It is just something you have to get to love and make your peace with... For the dev team: add pickleball and general weight training as categories under sports. Also, once in the sport mode, you cannot return to the main screen to see the total number of steps per day.

The watch has been great so far, it's comfortable to sleep in, I've been using it to track my sleep and steps and my heart rate which has been good. The battery life could be better I would say, because of the better snapdragon chip it drains battery faster but it hasn't been the worst thing for me it's still good and will most likely last you the entire day. Its accurate the display is fast and responsive better then last Gen. The durability has not given me any issue either.

I got this just under a month ago and the forst thing that stood out to me was how comfortable it was to wear this watch even to sleep. I found myself almost forgetting that i had this watch on my arm even after i got a case for it. I love how responsive and snappy the galaxy watches have got especially coming from the watch 4. Still not the biggest fan of the "squircle" design but I guess, the overall watch experience makes up for it.

Upgraded from an older smartwatch, and the Galaxy Watch9 is a huge step up. The screen is super bright even under direct sunlight, and navigating through apps is ridiculously smooth. Health and sleep tracking feel much more accurate this time around, too. Plus, I’m easily getting a full day and a half of battery life with regular use. Lightweight, comfortable, and looks great for both workouts and work. Highly recommend!

The soft wristband was comfortable to wear all day even in Singapore's warm and humid environment. In terms of battery life, it is possible to last 2 days with certain features switched off. This was a problem for me because using the new sleep tracking function would require it to be worn. Thankfully, it charges sufficiently in the time I take to shower.

We went from samsung makati and we saw this watch9 its very sleek and comfortable ng looks at design niya. For me itss so pretty dahil ang gaan niya parang wala akong suot na watch sa wrist ko. What is very comfortable and screen is bright. Not heavy either. I've been tracking my sleep as well as my oxygen level as it drops due to my health condition. So eto nga nag punta ako sa samsung experience store at nakita ko yung watch 9 na bagong labas at naka pre order pa mapapa wow ka nalang talaga super gandaaaa grabe yung materials na ginamit armor aluminum 2 frame with sapphire crystal glass front. Natry ko yung bagong watch 9 series nila super ganda im using watch 4 now and ang nice sa bago is 390mah na ang battery nya atleast nag improved na ang battery and nice hq kasi meron nang severity level sa sleep apnea feature nya .and hindi masakit sa kamay if suotin and notice ko mas more brighter na ang screen dahil 3000 nits na pala ang gamit nila
