I purchased this monitor in September 2021 and have been very happy with it since! I use the monitor for everything (PC), but predominantly FPS gaming (Valorant, Apex Legends) and have been able to run it at 4K 144hz over DP with G-sync on and no issues. Enjoying movies or working from home has also been positive experiences with this monitor, the quick switch profile buttons on the bottom of this monitor are convenient to switch game-specific settings to (i.e. refresh rate, adaptive sync on or off.) The Core sync lighting is a nice extra to illuminate the room as I have my desk up against a wall. I recommend this monitor, especially if you can get it on sale.

Quite possible the worst monitor I've bought, regardless of its high price. It does not have a standard Vesa mount, which means you need to purchase an extra accessory to convert it to the standard for use with a monitor arm. How I wish I can meet the designer who thought a custom, round LED laden monitor stand was awesome, whilst discarding a standard convention. However, the biggest gripe is the constant failing to turn on, wake-up, starting in NV failsafe low-res mode, and how it puts itself to 'eternal' sleep and mucks around the multi-monitor settings. Whilst the monitor itself is very good when it's working - this is a classic form over function failure.

quite a formidable task since it demands hardware that is currently unattainable for the majority of users. To truly unlock its potential, you'll require a system that effortlessly handles 4K resolution at a rapid 144Hz refresh rate while supporting ray tracing, which means investing in only the highest-quality equipment. If you're willing to make such a substantial investment, you may consider splurging a bit more for a Samsung's neo G monitor instead. Let me be clear, there are no inherent issues with this monitor—it ranks among the top 28-inch 4K IPS monitors, and it can even serve as a 4K TV. Nevertheless, its price tag is on the steeper side an a new version is just around the corner.

Bought two of these monitors, both went straight to the repair centre. Received one back still in maintenance mode. Second still with service center and it has been three weeks. Both monitors do not wake up from sleep or standby. Really regret trying Samsung monitors.

Interestingly this is my second review for this monitor as the first one was deleted!! Still no fix or support from Samsung regarding the 1440p 120Hz issue. My previous ACER monitor handled 1440p 120Hz with no problem whatsover, so not my console Samsung it's your monitor. Not as advertised!!

Bought mine when there was a sale. Just waiting for another sale to get the second to match the looks and avoid colour differences... Issue 2: OSD Colour Settings (Comparing with my second monitor i run next to it at 144hz to match the refresh rates - its a 27" 1440P Monitor shares some of the same specs as the G7 apart from Local Dimming, Resolution and Maximum refresh rate) The reason i mention the second monitor (which I plan to replace) is the OSD setting and the accuracy of the whites. It targets a different buyer but it is a gaming monitor so my issue is why can I control or adjust gain, hue, offset and saturation to the degree in that cheap monitor (its not just RGB values.) and cant in the G7 which is much more premium?! Issue 2: The Whites... The G7 produces yellowish whites and no matter what i do. Gaming, the colours are fine but day to day desktop use while doing assignments on mostly white backgrounds, Its hard to ignore the differences to the second monitor... Apart from colour settings... everything is amazing whether its watching Videos or Gaming. with G-Sync-C and V-Sync turned on in Control Panel, I see no ghosting or lag with hardware that cant really game at 4k. The reason for this review is that I hope there could be a firmware update pushed to unlock those colour settings

I bought this a few months ago and I’ve been so happy with it. I use it for casual gaming and I love the high refresh rate, high resolution panel. I use it interchangeably with my Windows PC for gaming and occasionally even with my MacBook for video editing and I’m so happy that it supports 4K at the full 144hz on both. The pixel response times are amazing and it really contributes to a great experience.

I don't mind admitting that the G7 faced some serious competition to replace my old 2K monitor and the original price was a disincentive but this unit really lives up to the hype, especially at its EOFY special price. Blacks are blacker than I've seen in a monitor of this calibre. Refresh rate keeps up with everything I throw at it. Cannot fault the G70A. Nice work, Samsung!

This monitor is very nice, I had 1 problem, I play on ps5 and when I use the vrr setting on my ps5 the monitor screen goes black for 2-3 seconds, when I turn off the ps5 vrr setting the screen works fine, it only doss this when the PlayStation vrr setting is on, I’ve tried everything mentioned in every post online and nothing seems to help, so I just can’t use vrr

If you switch on HDR in Windows 11 a pink hue comes over the screen. It will turn on and off. This does not happen in Windows 10. Other wise the monitor is amazin.

Great monitor and excellent on pc but doesn’t support 4K 120fps on Xbox or ps5 like it should Because it has all the required features but doesn’t allow you to do so

i bought this not long ago and it is amazing. I love having the smart TV features like Netflix, Stan, Disney, etc all on just the one monitor. this monitor is great for just watching shows but amazing for gaming because of the high resolution and 165 hz display.

I bought this monitor to accompany my new gaming rig. I have played plenty of games on it now all in 4k 144hz, It is absolutely beautiful. The picture quality and brightness is amazing no issue whatsoever. I highly recommend this monitor.

Perfect for gaming, perfect for watching movies, it really does everything you want it to. Customisable with multiple different modes so you can easily switch between it, it's great. Pricy, but worth it in my opinion.

Got to play some light games games but holds up way better than i thought it would with bigger games, example i was playing star citzen with max setting and had no issues with the monitor with recommend.

I bought this a month ago it’s a very good upgrade no complaints with it only problem I have is with the game mode making the monitor flicker I find this annoying but can deal with it
