I bought the s22 a week ago and it is a great phone to use nice and compact and it runs well.
The only negative thing I can find is that they didn't use the better faster chip in Australia as they did in America it was almost a deal breaker for me because when your spending over a thousand on a phone I would like it to be as future proof as possible. The other thing is the battery I've found runs out quicker than my old Samsung it's 3700mah compared to the old 5000mah a21s model.
however it's something that I would look into when I upgrade again all in all its a fun phone to use very user friendly and a nice finish with the quality finish!

I'm always happy with samsung s series as it gives me a good value for money with the recent promotion. I came to a decision to buy s22 after researching and comparing with other options in the market. I'm not a big fan of big phone so s22 is the perfect size. It is feature rich and so far it is very responsive and smooth. Display is awesome, camera is great and since I was using s10e previously the smart switch has been really useful. It is as if I didn't change phone at all. All the apps and settings are exactly as how I set it up previously. To top it off, from my experience the customer service has been very helpful too which I highly appreciate.

This is my 2nd Samsung Galaxy phone (after the s10e) and I was extremely satisfied with the upgrade. The materials and finish on the phone is premium and I overall had a fantastic user experience in the 14 months of owning one - I upgraded to the latest with Samsung's trade up offer.
I did find the battery to be a little lacking for the price point and sometimes ran into some software issues with the camera and connectivity with my 1st gen galaxy buds. But overall, it helped me survive the busy city life whilst I was there and was a perfect day to day. I always received compliments for the audio quality when making phonecalls.

Not a big phone user being an older person I bought it as a thing to carry to take the odd photo when I go out on my daily walk. I have been doing photography for 45 years but at 80yrs, the gear is very heavy and I thought it was a good compromise to keep my lifetime love of photography going.
It's OK but if I want a really good photo, I take my trusty DSLR. The S22 is admirable for snaps but that's all I seem to use it for.
As far as phone things go, it isn't much different to my previous 5yr old Sony phone. Like I say, I'm not a phone or social media person so am probably a bad choice to ask for a review.
Thats really about all I can say about it.

I got myself a new Samsung S22, hoping for a great phone with a lot of new features. Well, the phone is great by itself, but I am disappointed as I switched from S20. I feel S22 is a downgrade from S20. For example, No SD card which was very important to me, as I have been carrying my personal data backed up on my SD card since last 5+ years and now I have to find a safe place to stash it. Very disappointing indeed. Additionally, I noticed the screen resolution and PPI has greatly reduced from S20, the telephoto camera is a downgrade, the phone is heavier than S20, and a lot less premium looking with a very plasticky finish.

Got it from Parramatta shop after calling them n cuty shops for about week, samsung shop with no stock. Was able to secure phone finally..but pink colour only.
Upgrade from s10 to s22..lots changed...buttons are moved all to one side and hard to get used to after 3 yrs of s10 buttons. No earphone jack..so wireless headphones only..no socket plug or earphones provided as s10 included those.
Overall feels little cheaper than s10..more plastic feel. Screen smaller and already regreting not getting bigger model. But work as good as any samsung phone does. All functions are there. Transfer of data was seamless..even order of my apps are exactly copied from my old phone.

I bought this Samsung s22 a few days ago in preparation for a new job. I like the phone, but I can not receive sms messages. I can send sms but can't receive them. Incredibly frustrating as I need this for work. If it's not sorted out soon I will exchange this brick for an IPhone instead. If they sort out the sms I'd give probably give 4 or 5 stars. I'd give less that one star as it is as I consider sms messaging and phone calls essential to what a phone should do. All the rest is just fluff. I've updated everything to the latest software. Tetra tells me everything is OK on their end. Please fix this Samsung.

This phone I bought few days ago, from JBHIFI, and like it, no s pen like I thought it would have, I like it, Nice features but display small, love the clear view case flip, buy needs camera feature, would love to participate in one ui beta 5 but not available in Australia, would be nice if had 128 mp, for camera, but good, good sound, nice display, would like to have curved display with 4 cameras, and at least 12gb ram option, and at least 512gb option, and a card slot would be nice, camera needs more modes and settings needs new more special features on Android version, needs ultra features or more features.

I bought this phone 3 weeks ago upgrading from an old Galaxy S8. My Galaxy S8 was a great phone, i had for 6years. But I was in the market for a great performing phone that wasn't to large.
The new S22 is awesome a great size phone for those not wanting to have to manage a large phone to have to deal with for instance going for a trail or road run this phone S22 is a great size for putting in your pocket or hip belt. Its hard to find a phone these days that has all the new features that isn't as large as a brick.
In saying that the S22 is still large enough to watch video's/Netflix or youtube comfortably.

I've been using my S22 for 3 x weeks and overall experience has been extremely positive, I like the size and response of the phone are excellent and it's a good looking thing in real life too. I have 1 x major issue with this phone and it seems to be an issue with a lot of owners of the S22... the battery life is pretty poor, I can live with the fact that adding extra storage via micro sd cards had been phased out of current models but the rate that it loses charge is pretty disappointing and is a major deal breaker for me, so without being able to add extra storage and the poor battery life it gets a 6/10

I've had the S22 for a week now and i recently upgraded from Pixel 3XL and off the bat I love the compact size the S22 is offering. This was one of the big reasons for switching over from Pixel and I don't regret it one bit! Since majority of phones nowadays are ginormous. I had my doubts initially with my precious experience using an S3 but boy or boy Samsung has improved exponentially. I love that I get to customise my phone experience to suit my needs and the camera is bomb! I have it in pink and love the colour too. Highly recommend. Only downside is the battery performance, but small price to pay imo.

I received this as an upgrade from my previous Samsung S20.
The phone itself has so far been great and I am loving the new camera.
I was very disappointed that when I opened the box there is only a 2 way cord (with the intlet that fits the phone on both ends). There was no charger brick to plug into the wall and thankfully I have one from my old phone however it is no longer safe to keep using. Am I now expected to go and buy a charger to charge my new phone? I have been buying Samsungs for YEARS and always received new chargers with each one and often even a set of headphones each time so this was a little disappointing. Definitely a loss of star on my otherwise great review.

I bought this a week ago and I am really happy that I did. I finally have my own little computer in my pocket, so far I don`t have anything to be worried about. So far I like most that to unblock my phone I don`t have to push any button, just a fingerprint is enough. Can`t wait to buy Galaxy Watch for it. It`s better and cheaper than iPhone which I wanted to get first, but I don`t like the way it`s connected with my earphones. Android is way more convenient when it comes to it. I also like Samsung Health app, and it also feels good using night mode, when I know that nothing will disturb me until morning.

- Imported old S10 phone data well.
- Camera on Samsungs is always good.
Cons:
- I understand that headphone jack and micro SD card slot were removed for more battery room.. But I don't like the bluetooth headphones and adaptor cables are flimsy, break, volume output is reduced and not all function of the headphones work correctly.
Happily sacrifice battery for a headphone jack.
- Buttons are all on one side. Screen capture is more difficult to do (you essentially have to use two hands now), and the main button is in the middle of the phone. Using a car hands free holder, it presses right on that button and tries to launch Bixby or power off my phone.. annoying much.

I had an S9 for four years but on New Years Eve I dropped it. A couple days later I picked up a brand new S22.
At first I dreaded starting a new phone but it was super easy to transfer data from my old phone.
It's the same size as the S9 but for some reason it feels larger. On top of that the battery life is insane; I went to bed without charging it on 5%, woke up to it still on 2%.
My downloads are a lot faster now that I can access 5G, plus my applications load up a lot faster and a lot smoother even compared to when I first got my S9.
Maybe dropping my S9 wasn't such a bad thing after all...

I love my new Galaxy S22, it's similar but better than my previous Galaxy S8. I like the size as I have smaller hands and I can hold it easily unlike larger mobiles I've seen. Its screen is smoother than the S8, so scrolling is easier and quicker. Using the options within the phone's menus, I did change the bottom button on the side of the phone from the Bixby Button to a Power button, so it is easy to power off and on my phone with a button as I had done with my old S8. Fantastic phone and so happy to get a Samsung Trade In which I couldn't fault the process, it was easy and I had no issues returning my old S8 and getting the trade in approved. Definitely staying a loyal Samsung customer!

I've had my S22 a week now and am loving it (this is not my first Samsung phone). I use my phone to manage my daily life. This phone is quick and responsive. I love the Google Assistant, the ease of the samsung wallet, and password security. I love the themes and customisation and usefulness of Android Auto. These functions make running and managing life easier and more streamlined. This phone can multitask as well as I do, aiding my ability to balance work, life, and family.
I would absolutely promote Samsung phones to anyone who needs a phone to keep up with their life and expectations.

Switched from an iPhone to Samsung at first I was a bit hesitant due to the fact that I new the IOS software. I made the big step and OMG why I was waiting for that long to make this decision? The amount of customisation and the power it holds it is way better than any previous device that I had ! Those pictures tho it’s on a different level now I can’t wait to make a purchase to get the Ultra series if my little S22 has so much I can’t imagine the s22 ultra ! The fact that I can do anything I want with the device with no limitations who would had thought that Samsung is Better than Apple!

I bought the Samsung Galaxy S22 and I think this is a good phone. But I have noticed that the battery does run down quickly when in use. I haven't made a total transition to it yet, as I'm still figuring out the functions of the phone. My main reason for purchasing the phone was to have it sync to my car for hands-free use. And because my old Galaxy S5 is on the brink of shutting down totally. Transferring my data from one phone to the other, was simple enough, using the Smart Switch App. I haven't utilised the camera yet but look forward to trying the night photography function. Overall, I feel I need to explore all the functions of this phone - before I can make an overall opinion of it.

I had been putting off buying a new phone for longer than I probably should have. I am blow away with the speed and ease of use of this phone. It offers great tips when getting started and customizes your operational color palate based on your phone back-ground! An unnecessary but completely adorable feature. The camera is one of the main feature I use and it's great! Lots of great options but also the 'auto' option is brilliant. The ease to connect multiple Bluetooth devices is also fantastic and a feature I will use a lot. Over all this phone is a pleasure to use and is oh so pretty.

After reading many reviews on the s22 I was hesitant to upgrade from the amazing S8. I had the s8 for 5+ years and really couldn't fault it. Reading the reviews on the S22 - well don't read too much into them.
The S22 is an awsome phone - I've had this phone for a month now and it is everything I expected it to be.
I didn't charge my phone last night and it's sitting at 75% right now! When the reviews suggest the phone lasts 7.5 hours - that is continuously watching video.
I have a beautiful Samsung TV for that purpose so the phone is just perfect for me. 5 stars all day long.

Had a couple of galaxy's before but not a flagship model. This is last year's model, but still is wonderful to me.
So many new and handy features attached make you go, yes, all phones should have this!
My experience after about a month of having the phone is its a great phone, very easy to use and intuitive to figure out. Very happy with its performance, both on technical aspects - good sound, camera, screen display etc; and on software and UI.
Only downside I have found so far is the battery runs out quickly if you have any extras on like Bluetooth, location etc. With the fast charging it's not that big of an issue, but yeah, that is something to improve.
All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase.

Bought a few weeks ago now and overall the phone has been performing well. Camera is wonderful, the snapdragon 8 makes everyday use speedy. I finally upgraded from my old Galaxy S8 which I had for just over four years and loved, and I have to say Samsung made the right decision in scrapping the curved "infinity edge" display. My only qualm is the battery life, which seems to be a common criticism of the phone, given it is a flagship and the expectation is therefore higher than budget alternatives. I get about 5 hours of active use, but given I don't use my phone that much during the day this is fine for me, and it usually gets me through the day. Overall it's a nice phone, feels premium and gets the job done.

Loved my s20+ until the battery started failing after 2 years so I upgraded to the s22 and could not be more disappointed! Whilst it is a great little phone, the battery is absolutely garbage. It's as bad as my 2 year old s20 battery in terms of having to charge it at about 4pm to get through the day.
I even tried taking it back to where I purchased it from thinking it was faulty as the battery life is so bad and Samsung don't cover warranty after 14 days!!!! It was day 17....
The retailer were amazing and gave me another new s22 under their warranty. And what do you know??? The battery is the same. It is just garbage, not faulty. Very disappointing I'm stuck with this phone for the foreseeable future.

I switched from Apple 3 years ago at the advice of my husband. I didn't love my S10+ but I enjoyed the android features. Ive just upgraded to the S22 and really loving it. It's got the feel of an iPhone that I liked but the features of a Samsung which in my opinion are better and easier to use than iPhone. I opted for the S22 instead of S22+ because the S10+ was annoyingly big. So many pretty colours to choose from as well!
The only thing I'm not thrilled about is the 5G because it seems to be dropping out sometimes but maybe I just need to look into that a bit more.

Have only had the phone for about 10 days, so hard to tell how it will go and I haven't used everything on it yet, but it seems responsive, camera seems better than my s9. Find sometimes tapping on the screen doesn't wake it up. Not a fan of the squared edges, boxy feel. I preferred the thinner, rounder s9, but I am getting used to it. Many complain about battery, but I don't have an issue with it and it seems to last a bit longer than my s9 ever did. I got it on a deal for a bonus trade in of my old Tab S2 through JBHIHFI, otherwise I wouldn't have paid full price.

Bought last week as a replacement for my A70 that was having battery issues. Thought I would go for top of the range, boy was that a mistake. Battery was down to 30% before lunch and was only listening to Spotify. A70 battery lasts longer and that is nearly 3 years old. Trying to get it looked at by Samsung, what a nightmare that's turned out to be. May have to write it off as a mistake and stay away from Samsung products all together in the future.

I only bought the S22 phone because my One+ 8T wasn't compatible with the Galaxy 5 pro watch. From my understanding there was no issue with matching it with a non Samsung phone. Unfortunately was this a misnomer and given the fact that I only bought the watch for fall detection ( in case of an emergency ) . The phone however is not a patch on my one plus and even though it's more expensive (Samsung ) it doesn't perform as well. My suggestion to any buyers out there us to explore other brands like One plus , Oppo etc before you outlay serious money on a flagship. There are cheaper alternatives that not only match performance but often eclipse the likes of Samsung., Apple etc Also the Samsing is a slippery phone even with case ....

I upgraded from an older Samsung phone to this. Huge improvement in performance and display as the screen is 120hz and navigating through the phone's UI feels like a breeze. One year after its release and I'd say it is still a worthy contender for android users.
However, the battery does run out quickly if you are running certain apps often so be wary of that. Think apps like YouTube or Netflix, or playing a game like Asphalt 9.

Got this phone about 2 weeks ago, and have been using it for a week. Photos are so crisp and clear and the zoom is amazing. I don't like that it doesn't have a slot for a SD card, I went from iphone to the samsung s4 and have been using a Samsung galaxy since. That's the drawback i guess for a compact phone. SMS Message notification isn't great and the vibration isn't strong, makes it harder if its in a bag and your rely on the vibration. Regardless of these features that I've mentioned, I'd still recommend to anyone who loves to take a photo or 2

I bought Samsung Galaxy S22 about a month ago. What I like most about this phone is the camera quality and its look. The screen size is just perfect. The processing is fast. And the photographs quality clicked through this phone is amazing. What Could be better is the battery backup as the battery drains pretty quickly as compared to other Samsung phones I have used in the past. Or may be there could be few apps which is contributing to this factor. I have been using Samsung phones since 15 years now and it has always been my first choice.

Bought this phone before a holiday to Canada. All the cameras are incredible quality and improved night mode is absolutely fantastic. The screen in excellent. Build quality, performance and sturdiness are excellent. I have only given 4 star in Design and Value because of the lack of a headphone jack meaning Bluetooth headphones are your only option. No bixby button is also a positive. Overall the Price is still a little high, but for buying 4 cameras and getting a phone and computer with it I suppose that it isn't completely unreasonable.

The galaxy s22 is the next step up from the galaxy s21 but not only does it comes with 4 different colors my personal favourite is the black but this time I'd choose the green, not only us a cool color but a unique color for any phone to have, the galaxy s22 has a much fast and efficient battery, and a next level camera system that allows you to take photos like a pro just without the $3000 camera, if I was going to choose a new phone the galaxy s22 or galaxy s22+ or the ultra would be my new pick, im still running a s10 and loving it

I have recently made the change over from apple to android due to the much more realistic price point. So far I have found the phone easy to use and set up, great features especiallyin the photo editing. The lack of charger connector socket is slightly annoying as it meant the phone was not ready to use until an additional accessory was bought. The use of android auto is also not as great graphics and function as carplay. All in all very happy with the phone so far, good screen quality and has made the change from apple very easy.

I bought a new Galaxy S22 on Friday to replace a Galaxy S8. The old phone kept shutting down with the transfer cable attached. The customer representative assured me that all my data would transfer across via wifi but would take a lot longer. I'm happy to say all the data from my old phone transfered to the new phone after approx 3 hours. The only frustration is an issue with receiving alerts from BART, which do not sound when they are activated. I'm really happy with the battery life, weight and ease of use with the new phone.

I finally upgraded from my Samsung S8+ and I couldn't be any happier! Starting with Smart Switch.. how easy is that to transfer your 'life' from one phone to the next?!! There is a load of customisation options to make the phone work the way you want and be more 'intuitive' to your lifestyle. Am loving the Modes and Routines app and Smart Things (with our Samsung TV). And the camera!! Love, love, love!! The Galaxy S22 feels great in my hand (weight & size) and the touchscreen with the Biometrics make for seamless navigation.

Long time Galaxy user and recently upgraded from a 9plus. Screen design is cool, battery life is much better and the process to swap over was simple.
Just a couple of pointers to the design folk - the face recognition is nowhere near as accurate as my 9plus - not sure why that functionality would go backwards. The other key baffling difference is that the volume controls are now located right alongside the on/off switch - this closeness often means I'm hitting the wrong buttons. Like the product but comes with some querks.

Waited 3 months for the S22 to come out and I've unfortunately been somewhat under whelmed. The phone is quite slow in comparison to many others I have used which I find very frustrating and for some reason i am struggling with reception in places I haven't before (yes I'm with the same provider). It's a nice little phone though nice and compact and has some other great features I'm enjoying. The battery life leaves much to be desired, Just get a days use out of it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated to speed it up.

I bought this phone 24th of November 2021 during the black Friday deal, since then I have loaded up the details to claim my free ipad which I am looking forward to receiving. Unfortunately though after contacting Optus to assist me with my claim was unable to get the help I needed and when i rang Samsung a Lady assisted me in filling out the form to claim my free ipad she was amazing and a great help to me in filling out the form and stated I would hear soon. I did hear and Samsung said I failed to get the iPad as I needed to upload some documents which I have done. But as yet I have not heard back from them. so, a little disappointed. Despite all of this, I like the phone and its simplicity of use. BUT I WOULD LIKE TO GET THE IPAD AS THIS IS WHY I BOUGHT THE PHONE.

I bought this a week ago, and I like the new slim feel with great features. The back button is always the winner for Samsung, but I do love the new smart copy function when you are copying a code or something. This saves so much time. The old function would require you to hold down and wait until it's highlighted, and then you would have to choose the copy function. In additon, i also liked the smart share option. This is a massive winner.
I did like the tips as I was beginning the phone too. It's often we buy phones and don't know the new functions at all. I would suggest a more detailed in-built tutorial if it was possible. You could do this through a basic application. This gives consumers the option to go through it.
An absolute great phone though. Love it!

My old phone was a iPhone 12 and I was given an S22 as a birthday gift. At first I felt uneasy about the S22 since i'm not used to android. Probably the best birthday present I have gotten in my life so far. After getting used to it I love the S22 and the amount of great features that it has such as the 'always on display' and the cool clock styles that it has and the screen display which is so smooth and comfortable to view. Not to mention the camera and its high quality shots with its bright and vibrant colours which makes the pictures look more aesthetic. However I had a friend with the same phone who had an overheating issue with the phone even when the phone is on but he isn't even using it and also when left to charge, so he had to change to another samsung phone. Nothing happened to mine though and I guess I was just lucky. Overall, it's such a great phone to use with a better experience than using an iPhone if it doesn't have that overheating issue. I'm officially a Samsung person.

Got the s22 when my s10 broke on being dropped. So far im very unimpressed. To start with i cant measure my heart beat anymore, the battery barely lasts all day and im not impressed at all with the photos, most of which are coming out blurry. Im not a pro photographer just want to take quick shots of the kids playing but they seem to need to be perfectly still to get anything decent. The phone has frozen on me reading basic outlook emails. My mum bought the samsung a series and honestly her phone seems better.

I recently purchased the S22,(It's AMAZING) I previously used Apple because my kids all have iPhone nut I had seen the quality of the S21 plus and it really was the reason i switched to Android. My camera on the S22 takes the best picture's I have ever taken It's has great editing feature's and it's abilities where zoom is concerned is AMAZING, even on my old picture's, the clarity it keeps when on full zoom is nothing short of WOW. I highly recommend the S22 It's all you could want for a phone and more.

I bought this phone about a week ago and I can't believe the photo quality. The portrait setting produces the most vivid high quality photographs that I have seen in a long time. My photo's look professional, focused and sharp. I am a makeup artist and I just love that I can photograph clients and show amazing results for not only my social media pages but the quality is high enough to use the photographs on my webpage. I upgraded (or I thought) from the S20 to the S22. The phones are identical in terms of function and operation. I'm grateful for the new battery life, which lasts longer than my S20 now more than 2 years old, but my only issue is the width of the phone. The S20 is slimmer and so much easier to handle. The S22 is wider and is just that much wider that it is uncomfortable. So, even though the S22 is smaller overall, it feels bigger in the hand than the S20. Not ideal. Also, I generally use a Popsocket in order to hold the phone better but with the new glass back in the S22, the Popsocket doesn't stick well. I am now having to buy a case, which will make the phone a little larger in order to be able to hold the "larger" S22. I regret upgrading to the S22 .. should have just kept my S20.

I bought this last week, I just got used to using Samsung phones, but these new phones aside from newer CPUs have less & less features than what used to be in models up to the S10. Samsung's are becoming like Android versions of Apples. No more sd card slot, 3.5 mm jack, and maybe sooner they might remove the sim card slot as well. All the other features are expected for the amount of money we pay for these new models. Two friends of mine decided to go to different brand which I might do next year.

I have owned numerous S series phones, I was a bit to disappointed to learn this model screen is no bigger than my S8 and that it has no expandable storage like every other S series did. Also doesn't come with a charger for the new USB C to USB C cable provided and you also dispensed with the 3.5 jack for headphones etc. Just seems to me that Samsung do this so I need to update all the peripheral products I have already purchased. That sucks big time, thought you were better than this Samsung!!!!

One really important criterion when searching for an updated phone was the hand fit. The + and the Ultra are better phones but they come at the cost of one handed use. Not for me. The S22 has very similar dimensions to my old phone and feels 'right'. The S22 suits my mobile style. I'm not into heavy video usage, gaming usage or high quality photo production. Battery life is sufficient for home use - test will come when travelling. While not wowed, the camera is ok and an update of my old version.

Hubby gifted this (Samsung S22) to me for my 40th birthday. A month before my birthday - I was having some mid life crisis moments.
The big 4 zero just didn't quite sit well
I wasn't looking forward to my birthday.
Mix emotions of being sad at times, anxious at times, worried about getting older and loosing capabilities as well as feeling just blank at times. We planned a party and in summary the phone help took some wonderful photos and now I am motivated to make 40s a decade to remember.

I had to purchase this phone as my old Samsung sadly passed away, due to natural causes at the age of 5. The old phone had a funeral attendance of 1 person, where it was thrown in the bottom of a drawer. The new phone has already taken over my life. By helping me act out my pet photography obsession. In a mo th I have accumulated more photos of my dog than I need. If you would like a dog photo, please ask me for one and I will send it to you. It also has lots of space for all the dating apps I continuously delete and re-add. The alarm always wakes me up in time for my job, which I guess is a plus. It's small enough to put in a pocket or conveniently fall between your couch cushions, where you then destroy your house looking for it. I chose the green coloured phone, as I like green. But being a dark colour the phone can get hot, like a tiny fire in your hand on hot days. I live in Australia, so technically the place is on fire anyway. The phone can also ring people, which sometimes I forget it can do as I'm usually on some sort of antisocial social app. Would buy again.

I bought this phone last week and have been extremely impressed with it. The screen is super clear even with car glare while using goggle maps mounted on the windscreen. My phone reception at home with Telstra isn't great but this phone picks this up and changes me to WiFi calling with Telstra and no problems. Watched some horse racing on it over the weekend and super clear picture. Up in mountains and the scenery shots the phone camera took were amazing. Really happy with the phone.

First Samsung phone, bought 1 week ago, and it's got all the bells and whistles you'd need.
Only problem is the battery. I lost 18% battery during the night while the phone was just sitting there doing nothing.
I play games and the heat builds rather quickly, which causes slow down. Playing CPM the phone is HOT in 10 minutes so I play that with same settings on old phone with 855sd and it's fine.
Please try to fix with an update. (Maybe a sneaky update that reduces processing power slightly, because every gamer likes to have max settings and this phone has abundant power for games but heats up and dies quickly. Don't tell people about reduction in power and no one will even notice, call it a battery enhancement).
Thanks for reading and I know it's more than 50 words but I needed to have that rant.

I bought this a week ago as an upgrade from my S20FE and so far have been pretty impressed. The screen is bright, has vivid colours and 120hz refresh rate which is great to look at. It's also very snappy and much more powerful than my old phone.
The negatives are the screen is a bit small - I regret not getting the S22+, and the battery life is not great. I struggle to get a full day of use out of the phone, it does need to be topped up during the day if I am using it heavily.

I purchased this phone through Optus and received the Galaxy watch a a bonus. I upgraded from an S10 to the S22, the phone is very responsive and works well.
it is surprisingly thick compared to the S10 and I find it heavier and hard to hold because the edges are very square and slippery because of the highly polished plastic case. The phone gets very hot with use particularly when using videos and streaming.
Ive used Samsung now for awhile and find their products are reliable

Bought this as an upgrade to my old Samsung S10. Needing a reliable device to manage my personal and professional needs I knew Samsung was the way to go. Been a loyal Samsung user for many years. I bought this last weekend acter smahing the screen on my S21ULTRA.
It doesnt compare honestly.
Im waiting for the s23 Ultra to come out so I can change over.
As far as functionality goes, its a fine phone & it does the job, camera isnt too bad but i have a sour taste in my mouth because I wanted an ultra and i guess due to upcoming drop of the s23 series, they hadnt restocked.
I do think its far too expensive for the features though, I am looking forward to upgrading

I was given this phone by Samsung, because their software update crashed my A51, and I'm really not happy with the battery life. Even if I have only 2 apps open, it drains at a rate of about 1% per minute, which makes it not very mobile as it needs to be plugged in so often. Moreover, if I am using it while it is charging, it drains as quickly as it charges, so there is no net positive charge. very disappointing that my "upgrade" is actually far worse than my original model.

Overall, the S22 seems like a great phone. There area couple of annoying features. Firstly, I use dark mode (white text on a black background) and Google Chrome. It is very difficult to distinguish between normal text and bold text so it's hard to tell the difference between emails I've read and those I haven't. Secondly, I often copy and paste text. To copy text, I have to hold my finger on the text for a seemingly very long period and often, it just won't select the text.

I returned to Samsung after a few years of trying the Apple iphone and never really settling with it. There have been some changes and I am still navigating my way through the new S22. I have been a little disappointed with the setting up of the new phone with the time taken and alot of items that don't fit with my usage patterns. Time will tell and I have yet to finish many of the set up items, hopefully once set up the new phone will serve me well, time will only tell.

Overall great feel, features and quality, but really really disappointed with the battery autonomy... I'm really not a big user, just some scrolling without a lot videos and can't finish the day without needing to charge. With similar usage with my previous 4 year old phone I'd end up between 30% and 40%, while here it's 2 weeks old and get home at 5%. If that get improved for S23 (haven't tried) and future, would be great because otherwise it feels like a great device.

I just bought this in the last few weeks and am in lalalalove with it the camera features are amazing I take a lot of photos of my kids pets and nature and just amazes me everything the clarity the beauty the all that it captures in 1 pic means a lifetime lasting memory. I had an S7 edge for 6 years until it died completely. I now have an S22 and it seems to be good so far. I don't like the open / close screen on the side and I don't seem to be able to set different notification sounds for different apps. Disappointed that it didn't come with a charger..... for a $1200 phone to not come with a charger of any kind..... pretty poor.
Data restoration was easy through Samsung storage back up.
That's my thoughts after 6 days anyway.

I recently bought my new Galaxy S22 and am already so impressed with it. Compared to other mobile brands I have used in the past there is no comparison to Samsung. Samsung is so suitable to my lifestyle and what features I need in a phone to go about my day. I'm very impressed and so happy that I made the decision to purchase a Samsung Galaxy. The camera is incredible and I love the ability to be able to personalise my apps the way I would like on the home screen. I personally feel that Samsung has the necessary features that is needed for myself and doesn't have unnecessary extra features available that I won't use. Compared to my previous mobile phone I wasn't able to use it with the systems of my workplace but now I have the option to do that with my Samsung which will make my work so much easier to do at my job place.

Before I bought the S22 I had the S9 and so far I am liking this one the same except for a couple of features missing on the S22 that I liked on the S9 such as a earphone jack and the light indicating if the phone is charging, fully charged or if you have a notification as I found this quite helpful. But camera quality is good, obviously not as good as the ultra but still more than what you need to take a good photo. The size is also good and not too big

This mobile is the perfect size to fit into a pocket and for holding. The screen goes all the way to the edge so there is no wasted space. The picture is very clear and bright. Thankfully, bloatware has been minimised. It would be nice to have a free voucher for a 'C' to USB-A plug, charger, lead and case given the price. Min memory should be 256 given no memory card slot. Instructions in the box are quite rudimentary. Battery can drain quickly.

We bought ours a month prior to Xmas for presents to ourselves. The phone has not been a disappointment, however it restarts another for no apparent reason, and when it was in my pocket it decided to make an emergency phone call. Other than those so far we have been very happy with our phones and will continue to stay with Samsung until it disappoints Had to buy a case because I am worried about scratching the camera lenses and breaking the screen

I have been looming for a reason to switch from Apple to Samsung for a few years, Though because of icloud and my life being attached too Apple I have delayed. Recently I was admitted to hospital for serious injuries and lost access to my Apple account, Which was exactly the reason to make the switch! I have been blown away with the Samsung phone and the Android operating system installed. The features are rich and I'm still Learning exactly what this beast can do! Let alone the camera WOW you can almost film a movie! I have been. Recommending everyone I know ow too make the switch over, and once I show them some of the features that are years ahead of Apple they are also blown away. Glad I fi ally made the switch I don't have enough words to explain how good this product is. I'll leave the technical analysis to the tech pros.

Overall it is good smartpglhone but has few things that is very bad.
First, create a lot og heat around the phone even when using lightly like websurfing....
Second, slippery when holding without case, for design it may look good but ergonomically it is bad. The side of the phone around must use matt material or others that are not slippery.
Third, this phone is most smallest one in s22 series but it is very heavy. Hope it improves at next series.

Have had the S22 normal version for 22 months and its been a great phone overall. Camera is awesome, phone is quite fast to use and is a good size compared to the plus and ultra versions which I find to be too big for my use. Had an issue with the usb c charge port where it wouldn't fast charge and kept coming up with a water in port warning message but the usb c port was swapped out under warranty and has been great since and prior to the issue.

After having my Samsung S6 since they came out & not having any issues with it at all I thought it was about time to update. After careful consideration I decided on the Samsung S22 as I am 64yrs old & not very technologically savvy. I have owned my S22 for just a few months now and could not be more pleased.
Being just a little smaller than my previous S10 plus it fits my pocket well, and does not tend as readily to fall out. The camera is remarkable, providing great shake free pictures and so easily edited on-phone. The eSim facility is also very useful, giving me scope for two different phone numbers without the need for two phones. Yes I recommend the S22 to you.

Love the phone so far, nice and fast and stable. The purple is a lovely color. Ive had it a couple of weeks and so far the only negative is that there was no charger included, only a single cord with no usb connection, was a bit strange. I already owned samsung products so it was no issue for me, however if you are switching to samsung for the first time keep in mind you will need to purchase a charger seperately to use your new phone.

Bought this about 1 week ago and have been so impressed with the camera both front and back. The phone itself has been really smooth. This is my 2nd Samsung phone and have been really pleased with the quality.
Delivery from ordering through the Samsung website was really quick too. I got the phone within 1 day or 2.
Perhaps the only down side is that the battery life is not that great, other than that I highly recommend this phone.

I hate to say it but the s22 feels to much like an IPhone. The invasion seems to have been somewhat abandoned (not discounting the fordable devices. However these in themselves are a little large and clunky for my liking.) But their mid-range s22 feels as though they have made an Android for iPhone users which may entice some Apple heads to switch and then move into the more exotic models however its a bit of a disappointment to long standing samsung users. I miss the s8... small powerful (for its time) and had all the bells and whistles. Looked good, felt good and worked well. I acknowledge I have to accept the disappearance of the headphone jack, but the missing SD card slot and notification light on the Bessel is a huge let-down. Will continue to use my s22 only until they bring back something slim and sexy and just more "samsung" and less "apple"...

I was tossing up between the Google pixel 6 and the Samsung s22. I've used Samsung phones for the last 10 years so I ended up choosing comfort over taking the risk of a new brand phone. This phone has a great feel, crisp screen and is a good size for me. The battery life could be better and that was the biggest issue for me when choosing the phone. But since both phones have a reportedly bad battery life, I still chose this phone.

Finally switched from iPhone to Samsung last week. Only to find that whilst the phone is good, it does Not come with a useable charger/charging cable! It comes only with a USB-C to USB-C cable. What the point of that?? I can't use it to even charge the phone, unless of course I buy a separate expensive charger. Talk about a cynical way to extort more money from unsuspecting customers. That is a sure way to degrade goodwill.

Having used Samsung S series phones since the S4 I kind of new what to expect but this phone has surpassed expectations. Beautiful clear screens, exceptionally fast performace and awesome camera features. I particularly love the auto focus feature on this S22 -it really makes my videos so easy yo capture. I do have one complaint and that's the battery life. It's really no better than my old S8. Overall though a pretty cool phone.

I bought this last week. I accidentally threw my S21 Ultra, again. This time the screen went bonkers. I realised that the phone might be too big for my hands. I decided to get the S22. It is actually quite good. I sacrificed some of my physical memory for virtual memory and it is fast. It has all the features of my old phone except the macro lense, but if you stand further away and use the zoom lense, you get the same result.

My wife bought this as a Christmas gift for me recently. She keeps on bugging me to get a S22 Ultra(the phone I gifted on her birthday few 4 months ago). Thing is, I am not so fond with a huge screen and quite a bulky phone even though performance wise it is outstanding.
I preferred this more of a "handy" and "smart" size of this S22 128gb phone. Fits perfectly in my hand and the Color GREEN is my thing.

I bought this phone (S22) with the bigger storage capacity option last week because my OPPO got serious water damage. All I can say is that this phone works perfectly thus far. It has a beautiful design and comes with everything I need to conduct my day-to-day. From the OPPO Find X3 to the S22 is a downgrade, but it is perfect for me. the S22's screen display is amazing and its external design is lavish & sleek. The software works nicely and the camera works well for basic use, the camera isn't anything special compared to the pricey phones out there, but it is very nice for the price I paid. The one complaint I'd have would have to be the Battery Capacity, I wish the battery life lasted 50% longer than the usual 11hrs I get. Coming from my old phone which lasted 3 days, that's maybe why I've noticed it more than usual.
Excellent Phone for the price nonetheless!

2 months ago I up dated my phone A51 and the phone would not start up again.. I took it to a samsung contractor and they fixed it in 2 hours ,then a month later samsung got in touch with me a gave me a samsung s22 for free and I didn't even complain when my phone crashed i was happy they fixed it. Any way I love my new s22 and all the smart features it has thank you samsung so much I will recommend samsung to every one.

Is this phone a joke?
-Wifi/data will disconnect every 2 minutes, requiring either a full restart or turning your wifi on/off. What is that? I'm spending more time turning my phones wifi on and off then I am actually using it.
-Video quality/compression: Every single video I've used on this phone has been so pixelated I feel like I'm in 2012. Can't edit clips, can't share videos with friends because they come out looking a pile of burning pixelated 💩
-Battery, I'm lucky to get a full day WITH power saving mode enabled.
This feels like a complete downgrade. My oppo renno 2 that came out in 2018 💩s on this phone.
Feel like I was scammed. The phone does not live upto expectations, heck, it barely passes the minimum.
All I want to do is return it.
Basic should function properly. How does a phone from 5 years ago preform better. Extremely disappointed.

I'm doing a fIr bit of travelling overhead next four years and my old Samsung Galaxy was getting tied. A bit like me ... hahaaaa, so, went and checked out what was a available and settled other S22, pretty easy to navigate and the photos are amazing.
Needed a phone that has the emergency systems and had the watch to go with it. Phone had to be a le to fit into my side pi ket of my jeans sowas not large at all.

I absolutely love my phone. It really suits my style & my general use. I just really wish the battery wasn't this bad. It really sucks. I use messenger call a lot & I can't even go above 4 hours on a call or video call without it dying. Just for context, I'm in an LDR so I'm constantly on video call. I love love the features, camera, UI, etc etc. Everything except the fact that the battery is such a disappointment.

I got the S22 and after my S8 finally bit the dust last week, and it's so sleek and shiny. There are a few things that have taken me a while to figure out - for example, how to turn off voLTE1 (I'm not sure why the option to turn this off was removed?) and how to remove the 'choose input keyboard' icon that keeps appearing. Overall, I'm enjoying it. Love the light up edges and the camera quality seems fantastic.

Only reason I bought this phone was that my current S21 FE did not support an esim.
I'm frustrated that Samsung phones no longer use audio jacks, or have space for an SD card.
It's glitchy. Won't let me use my phone while mobile hotspot is on.
Half the time, my services can't find its hitspot, so have to keep turning it off and on for this Can't believe this phone is worth over $1000. Not even worth 500.

Hi i was always a apple ios man up until i was officeworks and held the samsung s22,so i decided to try it and havent looked back since perfect size phone with top of the market screen specs,excellent cameras and everything is so easy to use and also fast,coming from the latest iphone 13 pro which is nearly double the price i expected some comprises but its suprised me in a lot of ways by surpassing the iphone

Bought this phone a week ago and so far I've been impressed. The camera quality is good especially on Snapchat and most social medias. The phone is fast and most of the time smooth. Animations could be more fluid. The battery life isn't great I only get around 3 hours of screen on time so that's definitely something that could be improved. Overall it's a pretty good compact phone, great for the everyday user.

One big difference between this and other android phones is that the phone itself is small! So many other phones are huge, and barely fit into jeans pockets these days. Samsung manages to cram in all the features you'd want in a phone, but still keep the phone relatively small.
The phone has all the bells and whistles you'd want. Apart from a headphone jack I guess, but that's most phones these days sadly.

Purchased the S22 through pre order and must say I'm impressed.
It's a good size phone, any bigger and it would be a nuisance. I currently have an S20 5G also which is in perfect conditon.
For comparative purposes there is very little difference between photo quality of both handsets cameras, same goes for processor speed . The difference will be negligible for 99% of people.
Massive negative is no SD Card slot anymore, I'm still quite annoyed by this and I'm still contemplating if this will be my last samsung as it's a feature I don't want to be without in a phone, especially someone who does photography and takes 1000s of photographs.
Can confirm Glass Screen protectors are a waste of money with this device, the ultra sonic finger print reader won't work and I regret not having wasted $35 on one which I can't return.
Screen of this device looks amazing however I'm not convinced my S20 screen still looks more vibrant and colourful. The s22 screen is bright but the colours are somewhat flat.
5G is still very unreliable at this point unless you live in a 4/5Bar area of reception to a phone tower. I'm with Telstra which is the best for phone coverage in Australia however I suggest going to your settings at turning of 5G for now. You'll have a better experience and battery life.
Speaking of Battery at 3700mah, runs out very quick even with conscious use you will have to charge more than once a day which is disappointing.
All in all if you have an S10 series up and you don't need a new phone I'd say give it a miss as most improvements are negligible for most users, however if your in the market for a new one, best phone on the market currently.

I've had the phone nearly a month and it's been great. The smart switch option not only transferred all my media but it also downloaded the apps I had, recreated all my folders and put them in the same spots I had. I like the helpful tips that popped up, it let me know what features were available (some I didn't even know existed)
It's very user friendly and easy to navigate.

Bought this for my wife, and she loves it! The size is perfect for smaller hands without the compromise in specs. She also love the pink colour of her phone and the fact that its got a flat screen because its easier for her to use than a curved edge one. The camera is astounding, only trumped by my S22 Ultra of course. And dpn't forget the battery life that nakes sure the phones lasts a full day, easy.

I bought this phone 6 weeks ago and noticed a hairline Crack in the screen about two weeks later , I took it back to the vendor who sent it to Samsung who repaired it no questions asked
Apart from that the phone has been great , I was a bit concerned as I had read that the battery life may be a bit of an issue but I hadn't had any problems and can usually use the phone for 2 days before recharging

I bought this a week ago and find it dissapointing I have only 2 game apps installed and one is constantly closing during mid game this never happened on the s8.
Suddenly I am unable to receive text messages from one particular number which i was receiving previously, I dnt know how many messages i haven't received from other numbers. Im concerned about more potential issues as time goes by.
