1 Open the Camera app
Open Camera app
2 Tap on the Menu button
Tap on Menu
3 Tap on Settings
Tap on Camera Settings
4 Select Save to external storage
Tap on Save to external storage
5 Toggle on the setting
Toggle on Save to external storage
6 Once the setting has been enabled, insert your Type-C USB or Portable SSD into the multipurpose jack on your Galaxy S26

7 Switch to Video and begin recording

8 Once you have finished recording open the Gallery app and select Menu
Tap on Menu
9 Tap on USB Storage 1
Tap on USB Storage 1
10 You will then be able to view the Video recording from the USB or Portable SSD
