How do I Create App Folders on the Galaxy S26?

Learn how to create app folders on your Galaxy S26 to keep your apps organised. This guide shows you how to create a folder, add more apps, rename it and customise the folder colour.

1 From the Home Screen, touch and hold an app, then drag it onto another app you want to group together

2 Drop the app on the secondary app
Release app ontop of secondary app to group together

Note: If you are having troubles creating a folder using this method, touch and hold an app and tap Select from the menu that appears. Choose the apps you want to include in the folder, then tap Create folder in the top-right corner of the screen.

3 The folder will automatically popup once created
Enter the Folder name or tap + to add more apps

If you would like to name the folder tap on Folder name and name accordingly. To add additional apps simply tap on plus icon and select the apps you would like to include.

4 Long press the folder to change the colour

5 Tap on Settings

6 Choose your preferred App Folder colour and Opacity level
Choose your preferred App Folder colour and Opacity level
7 To apply changes tap on Save
Tap on Save
8 Once saved you will be able to view and access your new Folder within the Apps Tray
