I purchased this soundbar specifically to pair with my new Samsung S90F OLED, and honestly, they are the perfect combo. Because I stayed within the Samsung ecosystem, I was able to use Q-Symphony, which syncs the soundbar with the TV’s top speakers instead of muting them. The result is a massive, immersive soundstage that you wouldn't expect from a compact bar. The aesthetic match is also flawless—the S60D fits perfectly under the S90F without blocking the screen, and the Wireless Dolby Atmos feature means I have zero HDMI cables cluttering up my clean OLED setup. If you are buying a Samsung TV, this soundbar is an absolute must-have add-on. Pros: Q-Symphony works perfectly with S90F, Wireless Atmos, clean white aesthetic.

I set it up quite easily in my main TV room to get a feel for it. Our main sound system from a different brand has had issues with getting the audio delay perfect. I was able to match this perfectly to what's on my TV screen. The audio quality is fantastic. There are many audio modes to cycle through as well. Treble and mid range are usually not an issue with sound bars this size. And as expected were wonderful. What surprised me was that the bass level was a bit better than I expected. The bass level setting however does not yield much control over adjusting it.

The setup was very easy just make sure to read the instructions that came with it as there is no LCD panel, you only have LED lights for an indicator. This soundbar pairs well with a Q Symphony capable samsung tv and watching movies with it immerses you with its powerful sound. Sound is crisp, all the modes work well with the different type of shows you are watching. Gaming sound is great as you can hear everything. Will highly recommend this for its sound, and did i mention its completed wireless??

The built in woofers has you feeling the bass is felt dramatically. No need to use cables to vinegar to your television. It synchronizes with Bluetooth or wifi, but I've have had issues with not connecting immediately or but at all when the TV turns on. This speaker has the introduction of Q-Symphony for a more powerful audio level. Your and to you you smart home device to use voice commands. Besides watching movies, especially loud action movies, it's a really good sound quality when game playing. Overall, a good speaker for a start level soundbar.

I am truly amazed at the sound quality that this small unit produces. It was very easy to set up and adjust to my liking. The center channel makes basic television much more enjoyable. If you are looking to get a great deal for the money, give the HW-S60D a go. The ability to pair my phone and other Bluetooth devices is great. No need for additional devices to listen to Spotify in the bedroom. All of the settings for the soundbar are available through the remote and speech prompts from the device. The bass and treble from the unit are amazing.

I was using a LG one with a bass but it broke and I was looking for a good replacement and I thought bose was it but nope, then I was like, I love Samsungs handheld tech let me try the soundbar. And sure enough it was impressive sound. Sounds wonderful for music and tv and really good for music. This sound bar was so good I upgraded my TV from a LG to Samsung s60d 32inch model and the Q symphony feature is awesome! I definitely recommend. Especially in small rooms. Dialogue comes through especially well, and Adaptive Sound does a great job adjusting the audio depending on what I’m watching. SpaceFit Sound Pro is also a nice feature since it optimizes the sound for the room. Setup was simple, and it works great with Samsung devices. Tap Sound with my Galaxy phone makes it extremely convenient to quickly play music through the soundbar. Overall, the S60D is a great choice if you want excellent sound, clear dialogue, and useful smart features without needing a large sound system. Highly recommended!

The TV is in my living room, which has a cathedral ceiling and opens up to the kitchen and foyer, so it's tricky to get decent sound. I don't need immersive sound, but was hoping for a boosted sound that integrates with the TV. I'm very happy with the combination of the soundbar and TV. It has a much more full sound, it integrates seamlessly, and I didn't need to incorporate a subwoofer. I set it up myself pretty easily. The directions weren't ideal, so I just asked Gemini if I should have it on which setting. I definitely recommend the all-in-one soundbar.

I've needed a better sound bar for a while. Have a large, unfinished basement, and my previous sound bar just didn't sound good in that space. I've been looking at this one for a while, and the stars aligned! It was on sale, and I had quite a bit of points saved up. I hooked it up the old fashioned way, HDMI e-arc, and the room came to life! No more having to crank the sound bar just to hear people talk. I have the sound significantly lower than I did before and I can hear everything perfectly. Very happy with my purchase, and hope to replace another sound bar in the future, as long as the price is right

This compact soundbar fits right in front of our TV and provides such an improved viewing experience. The sound really fills the room and helps us feel more immersed in the shows and movies. The way the soundbar automatically works with our Samsung TV makes it super simple to set up and just works with out having to use a second remote or weird settings in the TV. Sounds now fill our living room and really pop compared to the TV speakers. For such a compact soundbar the sound is full and the bass is surprisingly deep. Well worth it and has exponentially improved our shows and movie experience.

My favourite feature is Q-Symphony, which uses both the TV speakers and the soundbar together to create an even bigger, richer sound. It’s also very affordable for what you get. I absolutely love it and would definitely recommend it.

After a lot of inquiries I made the final choice to go with this compact sound bar, and it really gave me the best sound i want in my living room. Specifically it has a little tiny footprint but the sub bass is really majestic for its little size.I connected it to my cd , and i can adjust the volume with the tv remote and the samsung. And i also set up the SmartThings for full control of UI and graphic EQ control.so i highly recommended it to others the sound is on another dimension.

Before adding this I sometime struggled to hear vocal scenes in shows and movies and the audio just seemed to lack depth. Adding the Samsung soundbar has improved the vocal quality. It was super simple to set up and synced right away with our Samsung TV. We didn't have to add anything other than an HDMI cable. It works seamlessly with the Samsung remote and we don't have to worry about having 2 remotes. For a device without a subwoofer there is a decent amount of bass but not earth shattering bass like you would get with a dedicated subwoofer. Overall great little soundbar that is a huge improvement over the built in TV speakers.

It was easy to setup and connect to all of our devices through smart things. A little over a year of use, I noticed that when watching and playing games that the sound quality had diminished. That was because the audio was only coming from my TV and not the sound bar. It had stopped working completely. Wouldn't even turn on anymore. I contacted Samsung Support and they informed me that it was outside of the warranty window. Now it just sits there like a hunk if junk after a year of use.

The surround sound is amazing, I’m shocked that so much sound can come from one small bar. I love how it is wireless, I hate clutter so it was nice to have fewer cords and still be pretty simple to set up. My only complaints are that for some reason I have to change the setting when I watch a dvd versus when I am streaming something on tv otherwise there is no sound. The other issue is that sometimes the sound seems to get louder and quieter on its own depending on if there is loud music in what I’m watching. But overall the sound is great and I am happy with this soundbar.

The soundbar blended in seamlessly and could hardly be seen right under the tv but definitely heard and felt. The sound and clarity are very good but to deliver the full sound effect of a theatre room you need the subwoofer. Design and look are awesome allow you to fully engage in the audio of movies and music videos. I thought i would lose some quality using the wireless connectivity but that is so not the case. Calibrating the sound effects for my theatre room was easy and the sound for sporting events, movies, and my nature channels has been awesome. It may have helped that I've paired it with a Samsung TV but I love the results and when I can that sub.......it's on!

Its clear and crisp, loud and lean, I have a neighbor who just love yo force her music on us. Brought this, easily connects via hdmi cable or Bluetooth to phones and all. Get immersed into your favorite action or horror film (jump scare enhanced lol), and integrate your favorite console. The sound is no wimp either, so I'd suggest testing your surroundings or you'll becoming that sound bully of a neighbor 😉 😍👍🏾

My only issue is it loses connectivity with Bluetooth and I have tried every setting to quiet this, but if I change a channel or my input, the sound just blast you out of the room it’s so loud and then I guess the adaptive part takes over and then it goes quieter, but HANG ON EFFY!. And like I said, I’ve tried every different setting changing the modes. It just doesn’t stop blasting you out. It is working a little better after I sent it back into the factory to have them replace the board.

The soundbar sounds fantastic considering it's a standalone bar. For some reason the soundbar doesn't have a volume indicator which is such a massive oversight for something as expensive as this product. There are lights showing the volume going up or down, but they don't give you an idea of how loud the soundbar is before audio starts playing. No bar showing a level, no numbers, no nothing, just lights as you adjust the volume showing the direction the volume is going. I know it seems like a small thing. I thought it was too, until I didn't have it.

It works seamlessly with Samsung TV and it also connects to non Samsung TV with little effort. The package is small but mighty, the base is great and it makes watching movies and sports more enjoyable than before. Nice and practical packaging, easy to carry back home from the store and light weight. Also can connect via blue tooth and play music from your phone and/or tablet. I did the unboxing and installation in less than 5 minutes, it works seamlessly with Samsung TV and I use one remote control for both, lovely sound and very clear music without distortion even at high volume, I feel the movie sound around me when I am watching. the looks are nice and fits with the TV.

It's versatile in that it can be used dedicated as a TV sound bar but also seamless connection through Bluetooth. The sound is great and I'm able to understand dialogue being said a lot more without subtitles on all the time. Only thing is the bass is a little underwhelming at times although I understand why that is. If I had to purchase again I would save a little more and get Samsungs next tier that has a dedicated subwoofer for that extra rumble expected at times.

Out of the box it was easy to install. Just plug in the power and one hdmi cable to the TVs hdmi ARC and the TV saw that it was connected. It asked of I want to change the audio to the soundbar and that was it. It fills the room with sound so much better than just the TV speakers alone. I had a hard time hearing the spoken audio and this really helps. I think it's a perfect size that it doesn't take up too much room under the TV. I really liked using it as my Bluetooth speaker. Even without a big bass module, it sounds very loud and clear. I really recommend this soundbar if you don't want it to take up too much space and enhances the sound quality of what you are watching.

HW-S60D Sound Bar is a decent choice for the price. Has eARC (uncompressed audio) and Dolby Atmos, hard to find at this price point. Can get pretty loud for it's small size. Q-symphony feature does not work, plenty of evidence here in other reviews and online. I walked through all of the suggested set-up and troubloeshooting steps, and verified that everything else works but the TV speakers and the sound bar at the same time. I wanted this feature but in the end the eARC was more important.

We love the sound that the S60D produces, it's way over & above versus just the TV speaker. This soundbar also has many other integrated uses & connection means that adds value such as Spotify & Apple integration for music, Wi-Fi for connection, blue tooth for direct connection to cell, & Samsung Smartthings & Google home integrations for remote control and casting. However, again, the sound is perfect for a small area such as our bedroom. We can also expand with blue tooth surround speakers if wanted, although not needed, it's nice to know we can add that option. Great sound, easy installation, great price, and multiple integrations & connections make the S60D an overall excellent purchase.

I no longer need to listen intensely to the dialog in the movies or news. It's all clear now. I like to change the connection sometimes, either via Wi-Fi or Arc/HMDI, which I like them both the best. I would strongly recommend the product, especially for condo/apartment dwellers. It has enough oomph without disturbing the neighbors on the other side of the wall.

Excellent product! Just few days after receiving and listening music an enjoying movies with this soundbar, I decided to buying another one for the kitchen, attending my wife request. Extraordinary sons in all default settings. I JUST LIKE THE EXQUISITE LEVEL OF THE BASS. It’s notable that this it isn’t a “modern one product”, but definitely it’s competitive with last one!! It does if you're in just Soundbar mode. I like the compactness and low profile it sits underneath the television and doesn't interfere with the screen. Other times it just seems random---sound will jump (annoyingly) louder by 2 or 3 levels--startiling us very quiet 70 year olds, and just as abruptly drop. If you drop it manually because it is painful, it will then drop subsequently to uncomfortably too-quiet. Geez. Why can't the volume just stay where you have it?

I've had this soundbar for a couple of weeks now and I am very happy with the choice that I made. The sound exceeds my expectations no matter what I'm listening to. I bought this as a way to improve my tv sound, and to have a chromecast capable speaker for night time music streaming. This bar has great quality and does the job perfectly. Esp paried with my Samsung phone. I feel online reviews focus too much on trying to compare every last spec and metric, which for 90% of folks is pointless. From my perspective it fits in my small space, looks great and works like a charm. It's also very well priced.

Love the surround aspect without adding extra speakers and the bass is OK (have the wireless sub on my other S61B and it definitely kicks for its size) but more than adequate for pc use. Also take outside and plug in for backyard bbq as it's much more powerful than a portable Bluetooth speaker and no worries about battery life either.

It doesn't need a subwoofer, as the bass that comes from the soundbar itself is quite deep and clear. With the subwoofer, you are able to hear more mids and highs from the soundbar itself and it's very clear. Throw in the rear speakers and you now have a full 7.1 surround setup that you added to gradually. Highly recommend this soundbar.

It gives my Samsung QN55S85HAEXZA tv a better sound. the clarity is much better and is the coordinates with the tv. It does a great jog for such a small sound bar! My wife does not like sound bars but does very much like this one. In the past we had Bose and Yamaha sound bars, and we like this one much better. WE plan on having many years of usage for it and are very happy that we purchased it. Samsung makes great products!

It can't replace a 5.1 surround sound but it truly makes the sound better than the tv speakers alone. My tv does not support Q-symphony, which I can only assume make the sound experience all that better. Looking for a simple seamless experience, this soundbar is a great choice.

The Samsung sound bar is amazing and fills the room with high quality music and I am able to clearly hear dialogue without subtitles. I have 2 children and normally have to watch on very low volume due to variations in sound from ads to actually shows. Would recommend!

Listen, as a single woman, I appreciate when products are easily set up and immediately work as expected. I plugged this sound bar in, plugged it into my LG TV using provided HDMI cable and my TV immediately connected, pressed 1 button on the remote to change the audio mode, and have amazing sound. I imagine it would be even easier, with better sound, if my TV was Samsung. Worth the money. 10/10 recommend.

When you fire it up for the first time its clear that this isnt just some small soundbar. Connecting it to my smart monitor was simple, just connect the HDMI and the monitor recognized the sound bar and they worked together immediately. The monitor remote controlls the soundbar with any setup. sound bar worked immediately. If you didnt want to use HDMI it also has bluetooth capabilities so even more way to use it. I went with HDMI for best sound quality. The amount of bass this thing packs will suprise you, it really does great with adjusting to your room size. Voice clarity doesnt get lost in action movies, and the action moments really make it feel like an entire surround system. You will get people asking you if that sound is comming just from that speaker or are there more hiding around.

I've used Samsung in the past, didn't have the best sound experience at the time, but I thought I'd give it another shot. I will say, for smaller spaces, this is more than enough to produce decent sound quality for music/movies, without breaking the bank. If you're expecting to hear the violins in the third row or something, probably not the way you want to go. I've used this to watch TV shows and movies, it's definitely a big step up from the TV speakers. (That goes for any TV speaker). When listening to music, it definitely gets loud, you have the ability to adjust bass and treble through the SmartThings app. But the higher you go, the clarity does seem to drop. It's not fully muffled, but it's as if you have a mask over the audio. Overall for entry to mid-level soundbars, this is a sleek looking, good buy.

The ease of synchronization was beyond expectation. Plug in, follow prompts and done. As long as you have a strong Wi-Fi or internet connection, you'll have no issues with connectivity. This sound bar has good clear sound. The soundstage and how my set is brings the sound out. The immersion of every sound is crystal clear. Calibrating the sound in the settings is really easy. The only trouble I have is the connectivity on the wifi, it disconnects once in a while. Other than that I give this sound bar 4 stars. I wish it would come with a subwoofer.

All in all I think it has been great buy I want to switch to s25 ultra and want to explore what else does this speaker has to offer. I also have watch 6 classic and the fact that I am able to operate this sound bar through my watch is just creamy. Lastly the connectivity, hassle free and wireless is the gem of this product. I can move it easily across the rooms to get my Dolby surround sound experience without hassle of handling big woofers is best. Also to mention the sleek and modern minimalist design helps to blend in any space the attached photo is the proof.

However, as expected from a standalone bar, bass is limited—you’ll miss that deep rumble in action scenes unless you add a subwoofer. Dolby Atmos is supported, but without up-firing speakers, the height effect is more virtual than real.

The soundbar sounds very good and the SWA-W510 subwoofer pairs and performs well. This rating is about the product information, not the sound. I chose this soundbar because the product page advertised an upgrade to surround sound. Under "Better Together" it states it is wireless surround sound-compatible with the SWA-9500S. I bought the SWA-9500S on that basis. It does not pair — confirmed after auto-pair, ID SET, a soundbar reset, and re-adding the bar in SmartThings, on current firmware. The subwoofer bought the same day paired immediately, so this is not a fault with my unit. The two were never compatible. Samsung's own SWA-9200S page lists HW-S60/1D as compatible; the SWA-9500S list does not include the S60D at all. I also asked Samsung support before buying and was told the 9500S was correct. So this page advertises an upgrade the accessory's own specification rules out, and the kit that works is discontinued. Please correct the page.

One of my favorite quaities is how well it blends in my to my existing decor. The sound is loud and vibrant. It gives the surround sound, immersve experience to make it feel like youre at another place. I would highly recommend this sound bar.

My other Samsung Soundbar has a readout for mode and sound lever. This has an audio prompt when changing modes. The volume has lights that flash that tells you that it’s going up or down. Big deal! Bring back the visual que.

However, reason why I rated it 4, it’s because the connection to wifi always drops even if my router is extremely near my soundbar. I tried all the troubleshooting steps but it keeps on dropping. But i love it though…

I use it for gaming, listen to music and some youtubing The kinda bad part of it though is if I run my ac I have to bump the sound a little bit louder to hear. But added some surround speakers and it helps and enhanced the sound quality and loudness

Given the price, my expectations weren't too high, but the soundbar has been absolutely perfect. The only issue I have had is some times, it forgets to reconnect itself to the TV or it disconnects during Q-Symphony, but it's an easy fix!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought the sound bar along with Samsung S90D OLED TV. The setup/configuration on speaker system is very easy when you are using it with Samsung SmartThings App. I've connected the soundbar through Wifi and working perfectly without any lag with visuals. Lots of sound and speaker configuration features are available in TV directly, so we don't need to use the sound bar remote often. Speaker sounds good with front left, right and center channel. Rear channels (virtual) are not good enough but it's enough for filling a small room. Sound bar has Chromecast built-in features so most of the streaming applications will work with Android phones. Some of the 5.1 channel or Atmos contents not sounds good while using Netflix and Disney+. If I add subwoofer may that can be fixed but bass effects is totally missing for some shows and movies. Overall, the sound bar works well with Samsung Q Symphony technology and providing room filling(12x15) sound with good Atmos effect.
