I bought this dishwasher 2 years ago. It was never better than barely OK. Dishes needed rewashing frequently. Now it wont drain. I have spent a lot of time and sweat trying to ascertain what the problem is. Removing the filter requires taking out 15 screws! Still doesn't work. Because it is out of warranty Samsung will not send a technician so a service call will be about $150 to diagnose but not repair the problem. Repairing will cost a minimum charge of $300 (+ parts if necessary) with a 60-90 warranty. Not worth it for a $600 dishwasher! I admit that I did not do my usual due diligence when I bought this dishwasher and am paying for it now. I am going to buy a new dishwasher form a reliable manufacturer.

I'm a bit thorn between 3 or 4 stars. Bought it in July 2022. Super quiet, love the cleaning options. Cleans very well. However, in November 2022, PC code appeared and it stoped working. We called the store who referred us to Samsung. I must say, service was good and efficient. Tech came over within 1 week and took one more week to have the piece (wire inside the door). Wire was replaced, free of charge, just before Christmas 2022. Fast forward to September 2023, PC code appears again and dishwasher stopped working. We had took an extended warranty. Company came early November 2023 to repair (same wire). It now works. Crossing our fingers that we won't have this problem again.

We had the dishwasher for a little over 3 years. We initially liked the price point, looks and 3rd rack. After using for the first time we knew right away it didnt clean as well as our Bosch (the 3rd rack was next to useless). Fast forward to a month ago and the dishwasher motor wasnt working and repair tech recommended new dish washer. Long story short we got a whirlpool model for about the same price and all 3 racks clean way better. I will never buy another samsung appliance (but this phone i am writing on is a S9+ and is still functional 6 years later)

The look of this dishwasher is great, it's very sleek. It's washing ability is good although I find sometimes it doesn't properly dissolve all powder detergent. We don't put more than the max amount of detergent, and often, we don't even put that much because of this issue. Plates usually need to be stacked with a space in between. Otherwise, they aren't washed clean even though we pre-rinse. Overall it's an OK dishwasher that looks very sleek. There may be better out there tbh.

Overall, I am satisfied with this dishwasher. It does a good job at cleaning most of the dishes. My main complain would be the instruction manual. They only have a generic manual that applies for multiple models and it is impossible to know what applies to your specific model. One example of that is when we were trying to find the filter to wash it. The manual is very unclear on how to know if your dishwasher has a filter or not.

We have this Samsung dishwasher that we have been using for past few years and love it. Have no complaints at all with it. The dishwasher works really well and has smart features like smart wash and smart dry and auto release which mean that the door opens up once the cycle is finished. I like that it has a 3rd rack that I use for cutlery or small pieces like rubber rings or lids etc. Totally happy with it

This is likely one of the worst pieces of engineering that I have come across (I am an engineer). First thing is that pretty much from the beginning, it would not turn on properly, it needed several surges to get the water pump going – every 20 seconds it would try and usually after 2-3 minute it would then start. That means that if you open it up during operation to add something, the whole 2-3 minutes starts again. Then the amount of time it shows at the beginning is much longer than that actual operation time including drying. Then they say a feature is that the middle rack has more headroom. Yes, at the expense of the lower rack. We cannot put our good dinner plates in the bottom try because they are too tall for the unit and the propeller hits the plates and stops moving – and these are not oversize plates. We then have to use our smaller plates and then only in the back row. If we put them in the front row, then the propeller hits, meaning it is crooked and leaning towards the front. So you are limited on what you can put there in terms of large dishes. And it is LOUD. It sounds like a jet when in another room, nothing quiet about this dishwasher, compared to the previous ones that we had. As you may read in the manual (the pdf manual on the Samsung site is not downloadable, error comes up), to get at the filter means removing a few bolts to get it out. Hello? At some point the propeller spraying up into the cups in the middle rack was not working properly and we don't know why, but they were not getting clean. Other times the bottom rack also is not fully cleaning, having me suspect again flow and clogging somewhere. The bottom rack, if it is not millimeter centred on its track, then when pushing it in will easily hit either the left or right metal frame going in. I took a hammer to the metal frame to try and hammer the edge inwards (plyers were not enough) and it works a bit better now. With all my previous machines, I could open it, put something in quickly, close it and it would automatically continue. With this unit, I had to push "start" again before I closed it. This may likely be the new industry standard, but inconvenient. During the 45 minute drying cycle, I open it once or twice before it ends, since it dries better that way. I am guessing that some of the other shorter, positive reviews are paid and/or sponsored. Would not recommend.

I call this my little kitchen helper! This dishwasher is amazing g. You don’t need to pre-rinse dishes and it will still clean everything sparklingly and completely streak free. I don’t even have to any auto dry function, just pop open the door after running a cycle and leave it open overnight, wake up to clean dry, immaculate dishes ready to put away!

This is the second Samsung dishwasher we have had to replace in 8 years. First one went in the middle of Covid, so we were desperate and bought another Samsung from Costco, hasn’t even lasted 3 years and it is already leaking and filling with water at bottom. I will be replacing all my Samsung appliances with another brand once they all go.

We have been using the dishwasher for a couple of months. Satisfied with the cleaning and drying as my glass ware sparkles after wash. It's very quiet and opens up after the wash is done , reminding you to unload it , which I used to forget a lot ,lol. The only negative I felt was the third rack could have had a bit more clearance.

We’ve had this dishwasher for a little over a year now, there have been very few issues and to be honest most of them are user error. The machine has never leaked on its own, does quite a good job cleaning the dishes as long as they are loaded appropriately and not jam packed. Overall I Would recommend this machine

This dishwasher does a good job at washing dishes most of the time. The bottom rack and third rack dishes come out clean almost all the time but the top rack seems to always have some dishes that need to be hand washed after the cycle.
