this machine has leaked water since day one. i have owned it now for six weeks, have taken two days off of work to wait for repair people, and have spent hours on the phone with samsung, home depot, and the repair place, and still do not have any resolution. the machine was delivered to me with bolts missing and a damaged gasket. it pours water out the bottom and sounds like an airplane taking off. samsung refuses to replace the machine or refund my money, instead insisting that i take another day off to wait for someone to come out a third time to repair the defective machine they sent me. deeply disappointing, and not what i expected from samsung.

Previously I had same washer and dryer but older model. Replaced last spring. Day one it shook so bad and moved whenever spinning. No matter how small or large a load and no matter what I was washing. Repair said nothing wrong. You need to use bedding cycle and can't do small or large loads. Machine must be more than 30% full and less than 70% full. Even when I do as they said, it still shakes so bad and washer moves across floor. Service is terrible. You open ticket. They contact you couple days later. Appt is week later and you must be available all day. They come and do not fix issue. Now same process again. Sad but won't buy Samsung agin

We moved into a new house 1 year ago and this washer and dryer came with the appliance package. From the beginning we have had nothing but problems. The drum was loud and rattly. We tried to fix it. The rubber around the door broke off in 2 places. We fixed it. The last straw was when the machine got stuck on the spin cycle and then caused a flood onto the main floor and into the basement. The quality of manufacturing at Samsung has drastically decreased and this machine has been a nightmare from day 1.

great for a washer (and dryer we purchased in a set)- fast, efficient, and quiet. but as two (2) engineers who cannot get the smartcare function to work, we feel ripped off. btw, the much vaulted smartcare function is simply a tool to deal with issues and troubleshooting, not operate or alert you of operations like 99% of other brands who provide the function with their $800 washers. for a consumer company the size of samsung, the software is pathetic. fire your software team or create one really well crafted app that communicates with all your products, provides basic functionality, alerts, and diagnostic codes/troubleshooting tips.

bought this washer and dryer as set for our new home which replaced the old school top load white set which was working pretty fine but we thought let's buy something new and fancy and since then we are having issues and issues with the washer. they dryer seems to work fine but the washer we just can't get it to vibrate and make loud banging noise. when you start the load it looks like its going to break the door open and when the spin cycle starts it always makes me nervous that something it going to break. i have leveled it and everything but still. my fault is i got lazy and waited to long to complain about it. now its not under 1 year warranty.

i was washing a normal, medium-sized load of laundry today and all of a sudden the washer started making loud noises. we went over to check on the noise and the washer was still running but bouncing wildly up and down. i tried to hit the power button but before i could, the door exploded off. after a brief moment of surprise/caution i was able to turn off the power, though the washer had momentum and continued to spin even after the door blasted open. the whole thing happened in a matter of seconds (plus a short amount of time to walk across the house to check on the noise). i have included a picture showing that this was some kind of severe malfunction.

We have had champagne color washer and dryer combo three years now. Bought the matching stands even. Door got stuck in lock mode and followed basic DIY tries before having to have tech come out. Tech called Samsung to confirm that there was no emergency release and came to the conclusion that it was a motherboard issue. Keep in mind all of our towels are stuck in the washing machine. We follow up on the motherboard order and get a confirmation that they don't make that specific part anymore and they don't know when they'll get it in. It's been awful dealing with Samsung on the phone over this and now dealing with buying a whole new washer to replace this one. Do not buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i recently purchased the 4.5 front load washer and matching dryer to replace the ge front load washer and dryer that i purchased about a year ago and hated! my clothes are coming out cleaner and the samsung washer is alot gentler on my clothing. not to mention the quietness of the machines compared to my ge. i am amazed! the machines seemed to be built heavyier and better! i purchased a samsung side by side refridgerator 13 years ago and it is still going strong to thos day. also i pirchased a samsung over the range microwave just a year ago. i have nothing bad to say about any of the products i have purchased.

This washer continues to frustrate especially if you vary from the Normal cycle. Water always drips out the front after a cycle and door is left ajar leaving a puddle in front of the machine. If you just start a cycle and and realize you need to add an item, good luck. Descriptions of icons conflict for example Garment+ and Door Lock icons are lit. Description says if Garment+ is lit you can add or take out items after a cycle has started. Press Start/Pause and then open the door. Door lock indicates door is locked and connot be opened. You can open the door when this icon disappears. Problem is they're both on SO WHICH IS IT? I usually have to restart a cycle to add anything.

i have had this washer and the matching dryer for 6 months. it was working well other than needing to frequently clean pet hair out of the filter, up until a couple weeks ago when it started shaking and walking across the floor. some black gravel was also coming out of the bottom. today i was running a load and heard a strange sound, like coins in the washing machine. water was leaking from the front so i stopped the cycle. the interior glass of the door had completely shattered. luckily the machine is still under warranty and i’m hoping customer support will replace the unit, clearly it has issues.

Extremely disappointed - Same issue as many people already mentioned on several online portals. Counter balance weight/ mechanism broken and it sounds like a Jet engine in spin cycle or something. I have been advised to buy a new one and my question is did i pay nearly CAD $1,000 only to have a washer for three years? we have white collar jobs so no much load on the machine and we bought a dryer too with this with a hope that we are good for 10 years or so. This is pathetic and when i look at other comments here, this is a case of cheating, you guys kept selling a faulty product. And what's my mistake, I trusted Samsung, is it? I sincerely expect you to resolve this issue for me immediately.

The time I spend doing laundry has drastically reduced thanks to the large drum size. My clothes come out feeling cleaner than ever! I am thoroughly impressed at how quiet this washing machine is; the first time I ran a cycle, I had to physically ensure that it was actually running because it was so quiet. So far the “Quick Wash” feature has been the most useful and handy since my children always come to me last minute to wash their various uniforms and athletic wear that they need immediately. The clothes come out surprisingly just as clean as the regular cycle. There are still many features that I am learning to use on this washer, and I’m very impressed with how effective and efficient it is.

We have a Samsung front load washer model #Wf45r6100aw. It has been over 3 months with no resolve. Warranty company got tired of phone calls from us. It shakes violently. Well this morning it wouldn't even spin. Turns out the counterweight was sitting on the door seal and we took it out and are in just utter disbelief. Warranty company came out, installed 1 new shock, said it needed 3 more after 1st attempt, 6 weeks later, installed 3 more and was exactly the same, very unprofessional, broke our water line during repair! How could a product have so many problems and Samsung won't help ? Very unhappy customer that now has to look for a new washer only 11 months after purchase ! Way to go Samsung !

They complained of smells in all kinds. My Samsung washer has never had a bad smell. We leave the door open when not in use. We probably wash 8-12 loads a week and I love being able to customize every wash for our specific laundry needs. The happy tunes played at the end signaling to you that your load is complete, are loud enough to be heard all the way across my house. I still smile when I hear them even after a year. The rose gold color is so unique and makes my washer and dryer seem like a stylish part of the home. I absolutely love this set and would buy them over and over again.

i decided to get this samsung front loader. with my old washer, all i had to do was pick water temp, load size, and time to wash. this samsung has too many options and it wants to pick what it wants. problems? 1. the compartment where you put in the detergent fills up with water (sometimes it is dirty water. 2. the washer moves so much during the spin cycles that it turns 90 degrees. i am afraid it will pull out of the wall! 3. i tried to stop the machine in mid spin in order to add another spin and it went right back to the wash cycle again. the instruction booklet is not helpful at all. if i could, i would sell this for cheaper than i pais and get an inexpensive, uncomplicated machine.

It only lasted 3 years!! We paid to have it checked because it was no longer spinning and out clothes would be soaked when it was done washing. We were told that the bearings were completely rusted (even though we don't have a leak, AT ALL) and Samsung won't sell the bearings alone, they have to be purchased with the whole drum and back cover of the drum. It would cost us more to fix than what we paid for the brand new washer!! I had a front load Frigidaire set for more than 13 years that I only got rid of because I like the color of this set!! They were still working PERFECTLY!!!

bought this machine 2 years ago. it washes very well and holds a good amount of laundry. when working well, it is actually quite quiet. i was very happy with this machine and even went as far as getting a samsung drier and their higher range cook tops. frankly, i would give it 5 stars for quality of wash, features and cost. it started making a loud banging noise and then stopped spinning completely. i expect that machines will break but after just 2 years of use i'm disappointed. added to that, there is a cost to get samsung out to diagnose the issues and i will need to pay for parts and labor for their repair. i am going to speak with samsung and see if this can be waived but i wont hold my breadth

I purchased this unit 3 years ago and within only the second year of owning it it developed a noise during the spin cycle which has worsened. I had a technician come out who said the bearing failed and the repair outweighs the cost of a new machine. He said this unit is common for bearing failures and to avoid. This is my first Samsung and very disappointed especially as we maintain it so diligently. I also suggest in this review Samsung raise a category for reliability/longevity

my flex washer broke after only 2 years. i was give 1/3 of what i paid for the flex washer. today i got this new washer as a replacement. i put some clothes to rinse and spin. the door locked and would not unlock after the cycle was complete . i had to turn off the breaker and wait until the washer to drain to use it again. the next load was whites so i silly me i added the correct amount of bleach to the bleach dispenser. the bleach leaked straight through the washer onto the floor and ruined clothes i had on the floor. the washer is very loud and does not wash well.

the samsung washer replace a maytag which i had before. the laundry comes out significantly cleaner. there are several shades of white difference between maytag and now really white with samsung. i love the convenience of the pre soak and the ability to rinse 5 times all in one setting instead of having to run the same load multiple times to achieve the same thing with maytag. the washer plays a pretty little tune "die florelle" when it's finished. i am pleased with the purchase and thank all the folks to contributed to me having this lovely machine very much.

Only had this washer and dryer set for two years. It has had a multitude of problems but I was able to fix them up until today. Now it’s having an error code(tC1) for temp sensor. This is more than likely not going to be a cheap repair and the unit only being two years old and already having major problems is insane. Then I find out their 10 year warranty is only for the motor. Nice. I will never buy Samsung again. Guess I should have learned not to buy Samsung with how horrible their electronics and other appliances have been for me. All absolute nightmares!

in the beginning this machine was amazing... 11 months later when doing regular laundry the machine started bouncing/moving around so violently i couldn't even switch it off with the buttons.. i had to yank the power cord out of the wall to stop it on it's path of destruction - a bolt snapped leaving the machine unable to balance - i am glad i was home - this could have caused serious damage - samsung wont replace the machine, so i love the fact i'm now shopping for a new washer and using a laundromat 11 months after spending $$$ on a fancy washer/dryer set

After paying $800 and having it for 28 months the bearings failed. Parts are dicontinued . I am glad I bought a service plan from THE BRICK and got 70% = $550 of my purchase price back. The problem is i have to buy another one to match my dryer and the new price is $1199 plus tax plus and extended warrenty and it comes out to over $1500 why are you still selling a machine that has no parts .Now im waiting to have another technician come check it at my cost so i can provide samsung a written report because the warrenty company did not provide me with one

As soon as the basic one-year warranty expired, we experienced what we soon discovered were known defects (dating back several years). Bolts, counter-balance, etc., that break and result in new machines being turned into expensive paper weights. Samsung's response was, well, it's now out of warranty (without even considering it could be related to the drum, etc, which has a longer warranty), and knowing that this is an issue that numerous customers have complained about. Considering the plethora of documents complaints, I'd say this warrants a mass tort.

Our laundry times have almost been halved because of the loading capacity of the unit. This unit uses so much less water it is hard to believe the clothes are being washed. However, they certainly are and it is done very well. The washer has many different settings and the instructions detail how to use each one. The efficiency of this washer is like no other. I have been running the washer for close to a month now with different types of clothes and garments. The outcome has always impressed me. I Highly recommend this product to anyone in search of a new washer! Oh and the Color! The Champagne matches our laundry room perfectly!

When it worked, it worked well…but I expect that when I buy a brand new NOT CHEAP washing machine, that it’ll last with gentle/regular use for longer than 2 years. Out of nowhere it started rattling like it was going to take off into space. According to everyone I talked with at Best Buy (where I originally purchased the machine) said this is a common occurrence with these (and similar) Samsung Washers. The counterbalance cracked, snapped off the mounting brackets, split the bolts in two, and punched a hole in the wash drum and diaphragm (door seal), which completely totaled the machine in one fell swoop. Getting it taken care of was a long, painful, drawn-out process. I will not be buying Samsung washers again anytime soon after this.

usually fans, our house is filled with samsung products. we have "everything samsung" however this product is very disappointing. unless we got a lemon, i would avoid this washing machine, i don't recommend this product. pro : i give 2 stars for the beautiful aesthetics and the good capacity. cons : it is so loud and noisy, very shaky. it scratches so easily, it's ridiculous. for example, simply by placing a container of laundry detergent on top of the washer or normal use ; scratches and dents. we experienced two water leaks in 7 months of use.

loved the look and features of this washer, which is why we chose it over others. we have now had this washer for a little over a year. it started making a loud banging noise during the spin cycle. when we noticed water on the floor, my husband took the top of the machine off to inspect. the tub has a large crack in it and is leaking water all over the floor every time it spins. it's just over a year old (so of course out of warranty). way too new and expensive to break. disappointed. won't be purchasing samsung products again any time soon.

the washer is very heavy 200- 300 pounds in addition, there is a possible design flaw in the washer or potential manufacturing defect that the washer will shake violently enough to move several feet in a few inches. potentially reach 1-3 inches off the ground (even if leveled properly) in which case the washer can damage its self if this happens even turning off the spin cycle may not work as it may still enter spin cycles although this is clearly a warranty regarding issue my experience so far is either pay for a technician to come over from samsung to fix the washer or contact the place of purchase for a new one. there has not been a clear process for entering a rma or warranty claim. my washer will probably have to be completely replaced.

my wife and i were so excited to purchase our first washer and dryer and were set on samsung for the beautiful champagne color and smartthings app control! we were so disappointed to discover we mistakenly ordered the wrong model without the wifi feature and didn't realize it until after we took delivery and attempted to connect to smartthings 2 days later. can someone please help us exchange these for the models we should have ordered in the first place?? i called immediately once i discovered this error and so far have been met with unhelpful scripted responses of rejection because 48 hours have lapsed! i know i overlooked this detail but am really wanting to find a solution to exchange for the models we really wanted with smartthings support!

i actually did my homework before selecting this washer and dryer. i have never been so disappointed with an appliance and the lack of service as i am with this washer. since it was installed, it shakes violently during the spin cycle. the installer said "it was fine" and the samsung repairman said it was not balanced and it was the installer's fault. additionally, if the detergent cup is open & you open the door at the same time, water pours onto the floor. the door doesn't close properly and adds to the banging. samsung won't help me other than to send me links so that i can fix it! so i'm at the mercy of the store where i bought it. it's been 4 months now of apprehension and noisy (it startles me from across the house noisy) clothes washing.

I saved up for months to buy these beautiful machines and followed the instructions to a T My clothes come out extremely wrinkled to the point where i had to throw them out The water gets sooo hot it burns to open the door with extreme steam coming out Water catches in the drawer spilling everywhere and clothes come out soaking wet I have had the machines for 2 weeks and am heartbroken at how disappointed i am with the damage these machines have cause to my designer clothing I should have kept my washer and dryer from the 70s -

i bought this thinking it would let me know when laundry was done via app. i haven't even used it yet and i'm disappointed... why can't my washer work with samsung smartthings like my samsung fridge? had to get 2nd app that has awful mandatory permissions: "location: required to search for nearby washer devices"... no it isn't. it's either wi-fi or bluetooth based, not gps. "phone: required to call the service center"... just give me the phone # and i'll dial manually. "camera: required to capture error codes"... i have google lens for that, or just give me a code number and i'll search for it manually. "contacts: registered samsung account information will be used to provide services that require account linking"... huh? you do not need my contacts.

The washer was delivered with a shattered glass door (no plastic here!). The delivery folks got Samsung on the phone and the issue was quickly rectified. We added the pedestal to raise it to a very comfortable height for a family member who was struggling with reaching into our old machine. The washer is quiet and efficient, it seems to do a much better job at spinning the clothing dry than any other we have had. Overall, we are thrilled with it.

after waiting 3 weeks for delivery (covid. i understand), after only 17 days the washer would not power on. i called tech support, followed all troubleshooting directions, still no power. the morning of my service appointment it stated working again. figures. the very next day, no power! last night it just turned on all by itself! then, again, no power. i'm expecting a service tech today, maybe. no call from them. this thing has been in my home for 27 days, and not worked for 10 of those days. absolutely unacceptable.

I knew my old washer was terrible, but until I got this new Samsung WF45R6100AC Front Load Washer, I had no idea HOW terrible. I don't know, maybe it's the fact that the clothes presteam before washing to help loosen dirt and stains? Maybe it's the ability to adjust settings to allow up to FIVE rinses, or to increase/decrease the soil level?? Whatever it is, my family's clothes have never been cleaner! Not to mention how beautiful the appliance is. I selected the Champage colored machines. I repainted the laundry room and WOW. Stunning! It's such a subtle pinkish hue to it - even my fiance likes it! The control panel is easy to use and navigate. And the washer plays the most adorable chimes once it's finished! I'm so pleased with this new addition to my household!

I like the washer a lot and it cleans my clothes well. It is not too loud and the wash cycles are relatively quick. The biggest drawback is that the clothes are very creased due to high spin speeds (even if you remove your clothes from the washer immediately after the load finishes).

was nice while it worked, but gone too soon bought this machine 1 year ago. it washes very well, was very quite, i was very happy with this machine and also bought the drier, but it started making a loud noise and then stopped spinning completely. i expect that machines will break but after just a year of use i'm disappointed. it's been a week since the technician diagnosed it irreparable, but the team are still thinking if they will give me a refund or another one, so i don't know how long it will takes.

First off, the whole design of these appliances are sleek and gorgeous to look at. The barrel is very large, can fit king sized comforters (has a setting for this!) or a weeks worth of forgotten laundry. Even though it does fit a lot of clothes, it doesn't use up too much water to get the job done! You also have all kinds of power when choosing how you want your load washed. From water temperature to how many times you want it to rinse to the amount of soil! There are also so many settings to pick from like Bedding or even Sanitize. You really could wash anything in this machine. Plus is it so quiet! Our laundry is right next to our bedroom and we never hear it! I really enjoy doing laundry now!

Investing in what I thought was a good product but it has been a nightmare the counterweight broke off it leaks water and is loud . It is unfixable and I am going to have to get another washer now . Being a mom if little ones it’s extremely hard to be without a washer while I save for another one . It should have lasted more than three years for the price we paid . Disappointed in quality !

Just outside of warranty, and to no surprise, the machine breaks. Heard a banging during spin cycle, took the boot off to see if something was stuck and I find two bolts backed out and the tub weight broken in half. Bolts into plastic... I figure this happens to other people too so be wary!! The pin support broke off too so there's a hole in the tub! Super great, and I got the stacking option so now I'm out a washer and need to figure out the dryer situation. Rookie mistake buying Samsung.

I was having continual, intermittent issues with this thing leaking water. Sometimes a trickle, sometimes a gusher, sometimes nothing at all. It was bizarre. Not even the repair man could figure it out and he gave up after a couple visits. But I was determined to track it down. I wasn't buying a new washer. And I finally found it. Its that lousy soap dispenser housing! Pull that thing out, give it a good clean, then seal the two halves together with silicone. Haven't had a problem since.

I bought this washer in September 2021 and it started making loud noises about 6-8 months ago. Any spin cycle feels like a jet engine is going off. It is so loud and unbearable. We leveled it, bought bumpers, and just paid for a local repair guy just to tell us that the rear bearings with seal are broken. The repair is very labor intensive as the machine needs to be unassembled and reassembled and that it's not worth it. The machine is 3 years old and a lemon! Samsung - where are you?

I enjoy the quiet, clean wash and water use efficiency. A nice bonus is the cute jingle that is played once the wash cycle is complete. Finally, the self clean helps make sure the unit continues to smell nice. One negative is that the unit stinks if you don't run the self clean. Overall I recommend this product for the intuitive washing options, the sleek look and quiet cycle.

i had a pair of samsung washer and dryer for 4 years, the washer stopped working last month. it couldn’t complete a wash cycle, wouldn’t spin at all. samsung support says it could be the water bump or something stucked in the hose. replaced the bump and the pressure sensor, the issue still existed. finally, i found out that one of the wires that connect to the motor was broken. it looks like burnt out for being shorted to the chassis. reconnected it, the machine works so far.

I was gifted this washer that came as a set with the dryer from my mother in-law when she found out i was pregnant. MIL aslo purchased the stands they can sit on to bring them up higher so it was less on the baby bump as i got further along and after when baby is home and for baby wearing when he didnt want put down. Sorry, rambling! Lol. Anywho, i have never had an issue with this set and we got the set in late 2019. They still work great!! I say, things work great when someone else buys them so have mom, sister, etc go buy them and pay them back once they get delivered & hooked up ready to start that first cycle. I bet they work great like ours do. Maybe superstitious when it comes to bigger purchased items, because I'm cursed when i handle big item purchases. Lol. Great Washer. Great dryer! & the Stands!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the 4.5 front loader for almost 5 months. I’m shocked at how much more it holds compared to my 10 year old basic 4.3 front loader. It seems to use a little more water than my old washer, which is also a good thing. I didn’t think my old washer added enough water to properly clean everything. If I could change one thing it would be to have clear glass doors. The darker color makes it hard to see if it looks like you have enough soap and it everything is tumbling well.

I like this Samsung washer. It was easy to connect to our water lines, and the settings are straightforward and user-friendly. The soft charcoal colour of the washer complements a variety of cabinet styles. When using the quick wash setting, my clothes are cleaned quickly, and even with a heavier load, I don't worry about the machine moving around the laundry room. Plus, the machine is tall enough that you don't need to bend down to load and unload clothes, so it's easier on your back. The only downside is that the machine can be quite loud when dealing with a heavier load. You can hear the machine washing from an adjacent room, and the chime is a bit annoying if not turned off. Additionally, I don't quite understand the purpose of the steam settings. It was not a selling feature of the machine for me, but is a big part.

couldn't wait to buy these, loved the color and the style. moved to a new location got new washer and dryer. neither one work right. the washer is so loud it always sounds like it is off balance, the cycles do not work correctly. i will never buy this brand again. i have service coming and i hope they can fix. less than 6mths old. they paint also has discolored on the top and i had it covered up so it would not get scratches would love to know how that happens.

i can't wash a beach towel. this machine is too fragile to run the spin cycle if there is anything large or absorbent - like 1 large towel (or even just a fitted and a flat queen sheet.) doesn't matter if said towel is by itself or part of any size load. if it does feel like running the spin cycle, there's a loose hose buried somewhere that whacks it's hose clamp against the frame. like there's an angry gnome in there with a pair of hammers. do not buy.

I bought this less than 2 years ago and it has been wonky for the past 6 months. It has completely stopped working now, won't turn on and if it does, it is inoperable- the control panel only blinks and emits a little song. I have spent a lot of time on the phone with Samsung customer service. After many complaints, Samsung agreed to extend the warranty and get it fixed. We will see how that goes but right now, I would not recommend this machine.

Compared to my last washer, this one can fit a lot more and feels like it cuts down on my loads. I love the option for quick wash so it doesn't take over an hour to wash some of my lightly soiled clothes. Alternatively, the steam wash is great for our family with little ones. It does a fantastic job of getting rid of the smell of soiled milk and food and eliminating germs and bacteria without having to use any extra chemical laden cleaners and softeners to mask odors. I've also used the sanitize option when our infant was sick and unable to keep his milk down. This was a lifesaver to clean our sheets, clothes and other messes. Prior to this, I had a very basic washing machine and never knew there are so many features that I could not live without!

purchase the washer 8 months ago. had no issues, but then these last 3 weeks the washer became so loud that it became unusable. noise during the spin cycle became louder and louder. techs came out and ran diagnostics but couldn’t find anything wrong with it. sounds like there’s a helicopter inside my house every time we use it. disappointed in samsung since they have great tv/ smartphone products. my washer needs to replaced or my money refunded.

Have put up with this washer for 3-yrs and time to move on! It leaks through the bottom of the door and has rattled loudly during the spin cycles soon after installed. Just figured that is what you get from Samsung, so didn't file any complaints. Just put up with it as it still washed clothes. Now the matching dryer is having issues. Nice looking machine and lots of features, but poor quality. Just purchased LG and it is soooo much nicer!

The Child lock button disables all buttons of the washer... EXCEPT the Power on/off button. Who is that childless genius that came up with this br(ainless)illiant idea of keeping the Power button accessible when the Child Lock is activated??? Any toddler will figure it out in less than 30 seconds which button has to be pushed to make washer stop. And no toddler will relate to your explanation that it's forbidden to touch THE button.

We bought this washer to replace an older Samsung. Though it has been just a month we have been very pleased. It is an attractive design with many wonderful features. I am able to personalize each load with a variety of options from temp to number of rinses. The feature I love lets me delay my wash so I can start washing even when I am away. The platinum color gives my laundry room a modern touch too. We bought the matching dryer as well.

I replaced my 10 year old Samsung washer with this one thinking that they would be about the same. While they do a great job on everyday laundry, washing anything heavy slows this machine down. My old machine on it's last leg would clean and spin my throw rugs well but this one does not. For clothing it's great though. It is easy to use, not noisy and has a setting for everything. It met my expectations but did not surpass them.

Well it made it about 3 years and failed. Just had the service man out - declared it a goner. Parts and labor would be more than a new one. It started to sound like jet engine when spinning and leaking water. Just purchased a new Samsung - going back to a top loader. Stinks I have to pay for install and haul away again. I suggest getting an extend warranty - these things are not cheap and do not last like they should.

I've owned this washer for about 3 years now. It is the worst washing machine I have owned. It goes through the motions, but does not clean clothes. I've tried all combinations of settings and washing detergents. Forget about whites - they come out dingier than before. I just went through a full cycle with a Northface fleece jacket - it looks worse than before it was washed! To compensate for the inadequacies of this washer, I've resorted to presoaking clothes in the bathtub before they go into the washer. I started doing this a year ago, and the first time I was absolutely appalled at the filth coming off my clothing, which supposedly was being cleaned by this machine for 2 years. Basically I am using the washer for spin cycle, and thinking about what this machine cost, laundry day is now an upsetting experience. If I could give this minus 5 stars I would.

It worked beautifully for about 2 months and then the loud banging & the leaking started. When the repairman opened the machine, it completely fell apart and left a large hole in the tub. Not the repairman's fault. The machine just fell apart. It was also leaking water onto the electronics so we were lucky there wasn't worse damage. I've never had anything like this happen. The refund/replacement process was also difficult.

Washer was great for first 3 years but starting to make jet noise during the spinning cycle and gotten worse and worse. I only suspected the ball bearing issue but after some research and the reviews here, it seems that this particular model has ball bearing issue. Only the washer broke so I can't find an alternative washer for my old dryer to stack. I have many Samsung products and I love them so this is very disappointing.

After having for 18 months the bearings failed. Parts no no longer available. A $900 washer and mechanically totaled. I am glad I bought a service plan from my Store and got all of my purchase price back. Never again, Samsung. Shame on Samsung for inferior products. There is a reason there is only a 1 year warranty. The Service plan stated the cost to repair would be more than my original purchase price.

after our 7 year old frontload samsung washer failed and stopped working i had it diagnosed with a failed spider flange, which supports the drum and is inside the plastic washtub,this was made of a cheap,pot metal which dissolved due to the laundry soap used,very poor material to have been used, samsung should have used a long life material such as polymer or stainless steel for this critical part,instead they chose the cheap route, when contacted they denied that this part ever fails,after an internet search i found that this is a chronic problem with these front load machines,we have samsung refrgerators,tvs in both our homes,i wont be buying any more samsung products and have purchased an LG washer to replace the failed samsung,extremely disappointed with samsungs customer service and the lack of support on a premium product that was purchased in good faith and was "under-engineered"

wanted front loaders for years but my home has a laundry close and they were too big. then i saw this pair are closet depth and they fit!! i thought my clothes were clean before...but now i see how much harder this front load washer works. it is quiet and does a great job with a good size load unlike the smaller apartment sizes i was considering. and the cost! this set with gas dryer is wonderful!

i got my washer and dryer a year and a half ago. my dryer is working just fine but the washer has given me a lot of problems. at first, it was leaking and my husband was able to find the problem and fix it. now it is making a terrible noise in the spinning cycle (even when empty) and he cannot find the root of the problem. there should not be so many problems in a washer in such little time.

the warranty is terrible! the product gets unboxed its beautiful. looks are not everything i gave it one star because of looks. it doesnt wash very well, soap dispenser has to cleaned alot. the motor is exteremly loud. the washer stopped working and it says warranty for 10 years on the motor and only 1 year on parts and labor. load of crap! buyer beware worst compnay and bad product!

I have had my Samsung washer/dryer set about a month and have used it numerous times already. You have several options to choose within the temperature, rinse, and spin settings, so you can easily fine tune it to your specific needs. I chose this model especially because it offers a steam option. I prefer a front loader because it uses less water. I am very happy with this new washer.

The other amazing feature here is the drain nozzle does not need to taped down. When water is draining from the machine after rinse mode water drain is smooth enough making so the drain nozzle does not move out of place splashing water all over the place.

Purchased this washing machine 3 years ago. It has had issues since the beginning with sounding like a jet engine during the spin cycle, shaking and vibrating to now it is making a loud noise during the spin cycle that sounds like the machine is ready to explode. I have read other reviews on this machine and it seems like this is a major problem with this model. I believe this washing machine model is a lemon. I have had other brands of washers and never had any problems and they lasted over 10 years or more each. For the money I spent on buying this washer and then it only lasting 3 years is ridiculous. I believe Samsung should recall these machines and compensate customers the amount they paid for it. I now have to purchase another washing machine and incur another expense that I shouldn’t have to do this soon. Needless to say I won’t be purchasing another Samsung appliance in the future.

had washer for 15 months from brand new. the bearing went out and sounded like a jet engine. i called customer service in january when the noise started and they said my warranty expired. i said the warranty covered the machine for 2 years but was told it was expired so i could either get a this fixed out of my own pocket or get a new washer. shoddy product and mediocre service.

Purchased just over a year ago and it started making a really loud noise while spinning like a jet engine. The bearings have gone bad already!!! It’s a two person house hold so we don’t do a lot of laundry. Will never buy Samsung again. We had to have the dry serviced just 6 months after getting it. Fortunately it was still under warranty. The washer is just out of warranty

I love the app because our washer is in the basement. It lets me know when the washer is completed so we can promptly switch loads. I have had this washer for 3 years, which I absolutely love. It is a smart washer that can be connected to the internet via an app on my phone. I am able to control the washer from my phone to help me find a laundry recipe for my wash and to stop and start the washer. The app tells me how long is left on the wash cycle. The Washer looks stylish and does an amazing job.

The quick wash setting is such a time saver in comparison to my old washer. A full load of laundry only takes about thirty minutes on that setting. The permanent press setting is also a time saver as I'm no longer having to iron everything I wash! The stain away setting does incredible as well. I had a few items that had been stained with mud thanks to my dog playing in mud puddles and trying to get me in on the fun. After one wash they were as good as new. This washer not only has incredible cleaning power, but it's also very quiet when it is running thanks to the VRT Plus technology. The 4.5 cup ft capacity is large enough to wash even the largest of laundry loads that I encounter. The steam feature is great for sanitizing and cleaning towels and pet bedding. I would definitely recommend this washer to any one looking to upgrade their washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is my first set of front loaders. i love that they are stacked, and i love the color. with the easy to use buttons, and settings i have the kids doing their own laundry. only thing i dont enjoy is that even with venting the washer the smell is still there. i'm purchasing the wipes for the plastic hopefully that along with venting will solve the smell issue.

This is one of the less noisy washers in the market. It has so many washing features and allows for several of these to be used in combination. I do have an issue with the random albeit brief banging just a few months after purchase. Also, you cannot turn off the chiming of the keys when you press them. Other than these two issues, it is a good washer.

Have not gotten help from customer service to fix. I spoke to one customer service agent, didn't help fix. I had to run the washer to test. Had another agent call back but the call dropped and they never called back. Poor customer service.
